  • First car

Hi people, the 18th is getting closer, the driving school is also running great and soon the first car is on it!! I already talked about 406/ 406 Coupé in the other threads… Get now probably nen 106 for 500€, but completely built by car house “giftt” !! Value should lie at 6000-700€, if I don’t take it, he stands soon for 7.500€ in the car house… Who probably take it or has a bad experience? But at 500€ you can’t make a mistake ! Wants me nevertheless 406 coupé In addition (about 3000€ in the car house of my father my “in-law brother”…(org. worth at 1000€)! But then the coupé wants to build up properly and since I am still a student and only go to work from time to time, it lasts a while!!! So I would buy the coupé additionally, but not register and only then drive in half to whole year, when it is finished! And from time to time I would always get the red identification marks of the car house, so that this also sometimes the daylight erblic kt? Does that come well or can’t you understand it? Why don’t I get the coupé in just this year, because you never know how long you can keep yourself above water at car houses and the unique offer for me is in the sense of building up cart takes forever if there is no flow of money!

The starter turned but the engine did not jump on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ADAC called and looked and looked with the result that the multifunctional relay would possibly be defective, okay…….. This morning to the scrap yard steamed and a new used worried, installed and started !!! Nix was, the 106 ́er did not jump on …………. He has no sparks, petrol punch starts with ignition. There can be no such thing, or yet ;-)……… Ask for good tips……… Thank you !

  • Engine no longer has compression after repair

Hello, short summary: Peugeot 106 1.0l Gasoline Year of manufacture 1994 (30,000 (real) Km) The cooler was tight / it was already gushing out at the top of the filling socket Well, at least the head was screwed down (please don’t ask me why, I wasn’t there) and then the open block was covered and the car was left in a workshop. Then it was in the way and it was pushed out as it was. ufbuchse of the 1st cyl. a little pushed up (however). Then someone thought: “Oh, let’s just hammer them in again carefully”. Well yes. Then the ZDK was renewed all the Shrubs/Seals etc. and the head was screwed on again. [So far only from narrative] Now I came to it. I missed the good piece a new timing belt + WaPu (wish of the owner/the old one was around). Then after Rep. guide the valve play was adjusted (really ver and the Fzg. of course did not jump. [I was strictly opposed to setting the VS, but it doesn’t matter] Then an old-served master came in and set the valve game himself, as he did in his statement, already at 100th of cars. But now he still didn’t jump. Compression (until now only on the 1.Cyl.) measured -> zero compression.Who has an idea about what it can be? (The master certainly has no (probably no desire) [Es se se i still said that the cylinder order (francose) was taken into account during valve play and the original problem with the cooling system is now ignored]

  • Where exactly is the OT-Geber at the 106?

Moinsen, yesterday my mother called me “Car doesn’t start anymore!”. So I gurgled there and realized: In fact, no more jumps Previously there were occasional dropouts. Once, last week, he jumped out but immediately started again. I then tested everything known to me and found out that there is no spark of ignition. Some research then brought me to the OT-Geber, as also the control lamp lights up. Had the error codes according to the method “Pin2 of the green plug on result: 1 – 2 – test start 1 – 1 – final test So just as smart as before. So I wanted to get to the valuer of my trust and an OT-Geber. But that’s where it starts. WO Is this exactly sitting? I entered everything possible at google until the night at 3, but found no suitable picture, just hint like “OT-Geber change”. I can’t say much to the car itself, the key numbers are 3003/693 year 1994 with 44kW (a Palm Be ach iss). Recently I changed the brakes in front and back, more has not been made – Okay, the lifting roof I had to stick to because there was a free shower in the rain

  • All 4 window lifters do not work anymore!

Hello together with me all 4 windows do not go down or up before about 3 std I didn’t have the test, I looked for if maybe the safety is broken but that was just humming out of the safety box when you press the switch now I have the presumption that the relay for the window lifter is broken can tell me if the is in the safety box or hidden in any door Peugeot 406 110 HDI BJ 2001 Thanks in advance Gruss Denis

  • Again: Anomaly exhaust gas cleaning – charging pressure to high. 406 2.2 HDI

Hello, I have problems with nem 406 2.2 HDI FAP BJ 2002 times again an “Anomaly exhaust gas cleaning”. In the error memory is “loaderuck too high”. My guess is not further, was now already 4 times there. “Tested” were: – pressure memory for a turbo replaced. 200km quiet. – valve for the charging truck control is changed test-probably. 50km quiet. – charging truck sensor replaced. After last mentioned measure it ran 1000km error-free – then shortly before Felbertauern tunnel – guess times – exhaust gas anomaly and emergency running program. So plug off battery 10x ignition emergency run away again – still 10x ignition message away. the next 500km again no problems – otherwise: normal passage, normal Vmax, 1liter oil on 20,000km. Does anyone have any idea? I don’t thank you already.

  • 406 Coupé 3.0 V6 24V problems

Servus Löwenfreunde, I have a 1997 406 Coupé 3.0 V6 24V (Phase I). Was at the TÜV….he had a lot to complain about (significant defects…. :wall_banging: Holding tape tank – there is no longer to buy from Peugeot…Do you know what you can do there, except to look for a used one and to build it? Drive shaft bearing – buffers knocked out. Can you change it? Does this part fit?https://www.ebay.de/…/282826767757 At the rear axle left “klimperts” it when driving over from Sideways…and the brake on the rear left has a bad effect. Also the handbrake. Should I install new brake sheaths and pads or keep the old ones? I got a repair kit for the caliper, but I’m not sure if it’s broken. I think the bellows of the drive shaft are broken on the left. Is there a special trick except to get a cuff spreader? Oh yes…he has installed the BREMBO system…if that’s any And in the end: He didn’t pass the AU. Too much Co2… in idle and at 2.2k to 3.K rpm. The engine starts always and reliably, however, smells of gasoline a little bit until I go off and a maximum of 500m afterwards….then there’s nothing to smell. The examiner said that she pulls FALSE AIR….my workshop says..nix da… power loss…NEVER EVER….bubble with her regularly far stronger and NEWER AUTOS. ALPINA DX3 BiTurbo..ML 350…AUDI TT …etc. What can that be? I know, needle in a haystack…please, help me. I bought it to prepare and drive it as a vintage car. LG Fred. 😛

  • Peugeot 407 SW sprint bad!

Hello, drive a Peugeot 407 SW Bj. 12/05. The vehicle has had difficulty starting since the last cold winter. It is as if he needed a kick in the rear so that he started. Then was with him in the workshop at Peugeot in Hilden (NRW) in March, which meant that the starter and also the battery were defect. I could not believe that and then I was still in another workshop and they told me that can not be, there is everything all right. It is only the battery he. Then I bought a new battery and a few days later it started again. Then I drove to a Hinterhoff workshop and they read out the car and meant that the diesel filter should be changed. It could be that it was dirty and not changed during the last inspection. Unfortunately, that was the way it was! In addition, the glow plugs were changed. He jumped on better too, only this powerless feeling was always noc What can that be? I didn’t have to worry about it for a long time and it was just so far that my wife didn’t come to work in the morning because he didn’t want to start anymore. I brought the battery away to recharge and look, he starts again. But again “LaLa”. Was then in a Bosch workshop, who noticed when reading out that the injection nozzles 2 and 3 have a mistake. At Peugeot they tell me that there is no error message and that there is no error. I don’t know if I can believe and trust anymore!! Would be great if the problem had finally been solved! I’m happy about every e-mail!

  • 407 Coupe V6 3.0l petrol engine, engine problems

Hello guys, I’m new here and I wanted to describe my problem right away. I drive a 407 Coupe 3.0L petrol engine, built in 2006, 108,000 km down. For some time now the engine has been making a loud, metallic noise when the engine is cold. When I start the engine you hear these sounds for 2-3 seconds and then it’s gone. When I put the engine out again and start again, the noise is no longer there. Only when I start the car again in such an hour, it makes us feel r the noise. When driving everything is ok. No power loss or anything else. My buddy is a car’ler and said that the hydro shocks should be. We then changed all 24 pieces, which was not cheap (á 24,95 EUR), but the noise did not disappear. Then he possibly meant the oil pump. But it was not. Then we checked the tensioning rollers of the belt, but it fits everything. And now he stands on the hose and doesn’t know what that can be. The problem k And until the next start we have to wait about an hour until the sound comes back. Before I go to my friend and keep many Euros out of the window, I wanted to hear your opinion or if you already know the problem or one of you already had the problem or what that can be. Thank you already in advance.

  • Good bid or keep looking?

Hi, I currently have a very good offer for a 2014er (Facelift) 508 with the 2l 150ps machine. The car has only Active equipment, but also LED headlights, head-up display, EPH V/H and a camera at the back. There are a few small paint works to be done (only scratches/stones, nothing wild) which is done by PSA Berlin cost-free, as well is a general preparation, a large inspection and new Tüv as well as 12months warranty included in the price n. If I use all-weather tyres via the dealer, I don’t pay for it. I’m indiscriminate because I would have to ski from Frankfurt to Berlin for the vehicle that I only know from pictures (autoscout and mail contact), but still save almost 1000€ compared to models from here. What do you think? https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…882c1a87-a1bc-45ee-a98b-17cd6eaf5528
