  • 407 SW HDI FAP 135 – 180 € for additives refill?

Hello My wife brought our 407 sw HDI FAP 135 to the workshop today, because the message “additive level came low”. Now she came back and said that it should cost 180 €. Sorry, but do they want to fuck us? 180 € for refilling additives? Is there gold in it dissolved or what? Does that cost so much? Thanks for information Jürgen

  • Webasto stand-alone heating – operating modes

Hello together, as an interested newcomer and candidate of a new 508 SW (May 2019) I would have liked to know if the optional Webasto floor heating also functions as a stand ventilation in the summer?! It obviously has numerous functions and adjustment options. But from the operating instructions e.g. of the 5008 unfortunately does not show whether the lowest heating level is not at all, but only ventilated (page 109)?! Also on the pages of the Peugeot accessory nothing can be found?! Please feedback a knowledge Thank you in advance.

  • Helps… 607 goes off while driving

Hello together I looked through some things here in the forum but somehow found nothing that helped me with my problem. So before the summer vacation my 6072.2 HDI Bj 2001 had often displayed the particle filter symbol (even after longer distances on the highway), which I had of course ignored. On the trip to the holiday he went out for the first time after about 300km just at 160 kmh. Without stuttering without nothing. I also somehow didn’t want to start. ADAC came and towed mic I decided to find a Peugeot workshop because the 2 ADAC could not tell me the reason what the error is because nothing was to be read except additive filling up nothing in the error memory. After 5 hours in the Peugeot workshop and cost 400 euros, the master could not tell me what the error is there either. He filled the additive which is a A software update changed the sensor for the particle filter and sprayed something into the particle filter. When entering the forced regeneration via his pc he switched off again. He looked a lot but did not find the error. Car was towed off and I drove on holiday 3 weeks After the holiday car works again for about 300-400 km. Bloss now when he goes out he doesn’t want to start. After 3-5 attempts he jumped on And then you could still drive 30-40 km. But now he doesn’t want to jump any more if you drove him for 20 minutes warm. Only after 3-4 hours he jumps again but only until he gets warm. I changed the tanker and diesel filter, but brought me nothing. I am now in Wuppertal near Peugeot who told me that the car did not go out in the 3 days where it stands with him. Error messages Additive pump exhaust gas… sporadically I was advised by a friend the update re Peugeot doesn’t think that would work. But I don’t think that can have anything to do with the update because the error came before the update. Would be grateful for any help since I already invested almost 600Euro for the TÜV and vacation trip before the holiday. 400 Euro at Peugeot and now again with Peugeot and parts 300Euro. It’s annoying because the car doesn’t have so much value to invest in it any more.

  • Fuel pressure

Moin check out the fuel pressure because are partly large differences are zb set pressure should lie at 0277 bar the actual pressure lies partly much higher (jumps in peaks so around the 0585 bar) I have thought the pressure regulator in, what do you mean? motor start only with hand pre-pumps. 508 2011 1,6 HDI / 82KW 0BL059107 DV6C thank you

  • Tackering at 406

Hello, I have been driving a 406 for half a year, year 97, 1.8L. 16V 110hp. I am actually very satisfied with this car. However, since a few he gives unusual noises of himself. The buzzing when the electrics are switched on has already been identified by my workshop as a defective reversing valve actuator. When driving, however, as soon as the engine gets warm, there is still such a slight tacker at regular intervals (not constantly). Filling in oil and can also be heard clearly in the interior. This tackering increases in 3 speed levels, depending on how much gas I give. My workshop could not help me any more and said I should go to the contract workshop. However, this one has only one week off, which is why I am a little nervous, because I don’t know if I should put the car off better by then. Does any of you still have advice? Thank you in advance Oscillator

  • …..and what about the quality?

Moin moin, read yesterday in the mirror (?). Visit many small/larger workshop ? y.

  • 607 2.2 HDI Automatic – Experiences

Hi guys, because with us apparently what could be possible and a car change is likely, I wanted to see how the 607er has done so with you. My questions: – What problems are typical ? What problems did you have so far ? – What kind of problems does the car have ? (I heard about driving weakness etc.) – How is the real consumption in the city ? 9,8 is it registered, but is it also under this value or over ? How much km did you get maximum with a tank ? – How Is the car at cold start ? Very loud ? Sounds stupid to the question at first, but at the moment we drive a passat 2.5 V6 TDI and over the engine this loud noise background is known … – Apro noises: How loud is it inside ? Subjective it is of course, but e.g. with 160 things ? Do I have to yell at my passenger ?? I think that it was first. Test drive I will probably make soon, but wanted to catch some more experiences. chon times greeting Mario

  • Peugeot 3.0l V6 with BMC Carbon Dynamic AirBox

I have recently been driving a Peugeot 607 with the 3.0l V6 and 207Ps(Aut). I would like to install a BMC Carbon Dynamic AirBox (http://www.bmc-sportluftfilter.de/…/Peugeot-406-3.0-V6-24V.htm). But since the 607 has a lot of electric pipapo, I’m not sure if the possible negative effects can have. Does anyone have experience with the motor + AirBox? Can you do it this easily or rather get rid of it? How does it look with TÜV and such things (must this year hi n) Is the installation difficult? I would be happy about every helping day

  • 405 GRDT brake bad

Hello all, I have the following test: I have a 405 GRDT, Bj 88, meanwhile now 318000km. I had noticed this week that the brake pads are finished (at the grinding noise of the metal). When I was on the way home, I could suddenly kick the brake pedal down to the stop and the braking effect was more than miserable. When I had tried to do a full braking at a slow pace, I noticed that it only braked at the rear right and nothing else was possible. ehr. Now I had brand new discs with pads on it today, because they had to be changed anyway and thought ok, then it gets better. But now I still have the long pedal path. I can step up to the stop and if I have the brake fully kicked and then let the clutch come, he pulls away like if nothing was there. What can that be? Can it be that the piston has squeezed out of the brake caliper? Or rather maybe wheel brake cylinders? Who can give me here a Thanks and mfg Oly
