Hello, on my Peugeot 407 (built in 07 / 168000km) the problem is now quite well known, that only lukewarm air comes out on the right side. I was therefore already at a dealer, the diagnosis is “clap adjustment of the blower unit defective”. Peugeot wants to have 700 € for the whole fun. The employee said the spare part costs 75 €, so all other costs would be working time, because the entire dashboard needs to be expanded. I now have alldi ngs already read a little on the internet and time and again I have stumbled over similar problems (station motor, is that the same?). My actually still running used car insurance does not want to pay, because for this part is not guaranteed. And even if, it would be only 20% due to the high KM value. My question is now the following. Does it really have to be expanded there? I read what about it that it is easier and in less time. I will also noc h some other workshops ask if it might be cheaper there. The number of the spare parts also did not want/needed to tell me the Peugeot dealer. Mfg

Seat heating Peugeot 508 (2021)
Hello, I started the sitting heating for the first time today. I already had some sitting heaters under me but not yet. I had the feeling to sit on a heating blanket on the bottom level. The seat is hardly getting really warm and I have to slide back and forth to get some heat. I then tried out the passenger seat and it remains just as lukewarm. Now I was told in another forum that there are probably problems with the sitting heating in F the year 2021. Is there anything known about this?

oil consumption at 406
hi@all hab n 406break (bj97, 110ps). he needs at 1000km zt. 1l oil. the consumption was increasing in the course of the time. I reported this to the vehicle dealer early, but always the saying “look into the instruction booklet…”. who knows/has the same problem or knows what you can do. I already tried oil additives, unfortunately not indication. motor takes in the lower speed range also time-wise bad the gas (delayed, ruckelig…) car has 109tkm.

After completely overhauling the engine, there’s still a loud nag……
Grüzi alle miteinand, Ende november at mienem Peugeot 406 had a transmission damage. Transmission over, clutch over, flywheel over. I had everything changed by a good expert and since I did not scrap the Peugeot but decided to prepare it again came then everything after the other.
