Hello together have there a question: Have a 607 2.7 HDI from 2006 with now 136500km, have for about 3-4 months light problems with my automatic transmission. Soooo I can ride quite normally with, only if I pass through the gas pedal then it starts to hit or that is then so that it jumps into the empty run and the revolution just goes up. I then have to take the foot off the gas and then when it is so at 2500-3000 turn it jump back into the gear. and tell me what it could be about.???? As I said normal driving goes with as soon as the kickdown comes happens just the things happen. Would I be happy if someone could help me there. Thank you Gruss Lesgin

IMPORTANT legal question……
Hello Peugeot municipality, I have my 406er standing at the mechanic, he has looked at the car today and means that the clutch including the transmission is over……..cost point 1100EU. Would not want to repair the car anymore because my current financial targets situation does not allow and the reperature on and for itself no longer pays off because the reperature exceeds the value of the car. What should I tell the mechanic on the phone tomorrow, that he should screw the car together again and it at the näc What can a mechanic calculate in such a case?? Thank you for the info That’s it with my Peugeot adventure The clutch supposedly said goodbye because of the transmission……then something in the gearbox has knocked out holes and and and….Cleanest disaster! But had never had problems with the gearbox to date, the gears always went in buttery soft, which is why I am so upset about the speed.

Consumption 406 HDI 2.2 l
Hi to everyone! I recently switched from the 2.0 l 406 Kombi (250000 km, BJ 99) to a younger 2.2 l 406 Kombi (50000 km, BJ 03)… What scares me is the more consumption… the old one I drove “flott” with such 8.6 l… well and with the new one I can’t even drive under 9 l when I’m good… “old” driving style beats at 11.5 l… my opinion already considerably more… with 1 l I would have expected… how are other 2.2 l HDI drivers? ciao uncle Total

Maintenance Automatic transmissions
Most manufacturers, as well as PUG, state that the automatic transmissions are maintenance-free. I am dealing with the 6-speed automatic transmission, which should also be available in other models such as 407. Last November when I had a winter check made by PUG and also had the cooling fluid exchanged with me, I asked the workshop master whether they could control or replace my transmission oil, since the car has already reached its 100,000km ( EZ.2007). Then he said that it is not so easy and it would be very expensive and you have to open the gearbox for this. In the meantime I know that you only get to the filter / sieve when the transmission tray is removed. I have already seen how to change the transmission oil at Youtoube and that it is a bit expensive. In my maintenance booklet, however, there is nothing in it that the transmission oil should be changed at all. In other contributions from d I have read the net that PUG should not even have the necessary oil and tool for this and you should rather go to a gear specialist and they can not determine the effort before and therefore no account estimate can be made. I would be interested here, however, who already had his gear oil replaced and what the whole fun cost. Wouldn’t be bad to mention where to exchange it, especially the Cologne room, since i My automatic circuit works very clean and reliable, but within a year since I had the car 3-4 switching errors where the next gear didn’t go in and I had to go off the gas in order not to stretch the speed up, as the speed was then lower there was a blow and it gear was back in. Then everything went well again and since the last error now again 5 months around. Wintercheck(November) was, however, PUG made a look at the gearbox and said that they could not find a fault and everything was so close. Greetings cpedv

Squeaking from the direction of the ribbed belt – Please advise!
Good evening together, drive a Peugeot 407 2.7 HDI Coupe, which for a few weeks (again) has had funny sounds of itself, this time from the direction of the V-belt /LIMA. Since it was still the first belt on the car (Km stand about 98.000) I let it change last week, but did not bring any improvement. Car makes the noises (no continuous squealing but still such a “tweak” still, regardless of whether the engine is cold or warm. The next step would be to replace the belt disc. If this in turn would not bring any improvement, one would have to go to the control unit (quote: costs real money). Is there any experiences or ideas about what this could still be and how expensive would I come to about the exchange of these belt discs? For answers very grateful. Ciao

Pre-and post-glow times Peugeot 406 2,2 HDI
With my 406 2.2 HDI FAP Break all four glow plugs have burned through completely. Km stand 202,000. I discovered this because the error message “Permanent error:Pre-Nachglührelais circuit, relay blocked in the error memory. Start was however at 5°C still totally inconspicuous. The error message did not come because the relay hangs, but because because of the missing load of the output was always on 12V. I found that out already. But to see what actually happens there a 5W lamp The incandescent times are quite long. At 7…10°C incl. afterglow time approx. 3 minutes. Even after only 5min turn off and cooling water temp. 80…90° is still annealed about 3s. In the Haynes Repair Manual I found the following: Preglowing at cooling water temp less than 20°C at Engin rpm greater than 70 rpm over 0.2s (if engine is not started after 10s) -30°C 20s -10°C 5s 0°C 0.5s 18°C 0s Nac hglow – at cooling water temperature less than 20°C – injection quantity under a certain amount – engine speed < 2000 rpm (measured approx. 1800 rpm) -30°C 3min -10°C 3min 0°C 1min 18°C 30s 40°C 0s According to this, the incandescent times would be too long. But can this be related to the 2.0 HDI. is not described in more detail. My question now: Does anyone know the specified incandescent times at 2.2 HDI?

Charging pressure signal from the MAP sensor at the 2.2 HDI FAP
If someone knows the characteristic of the charging pressure sensor (Denso 079800-4800) at the Peugeot 406 2,2 HDI FAP. I would like to observe the charging pressure in everyday operation in different driving situations. Of course, information about target values would also be important. Reason for the inquiry: Diagnosis message „Environmental protection system engine weak and in the error memory is stored „Lade pressure sporadic too high”. This error message with emergency run comes partly already after short highway ride, in the city traffic everything is in Or dnung. I suspect that at speeds above 2000….2500 rpm is not reliably regulated.

increased and restless idle 406 2.0
Hello fans! I’m totally desperate with my 406 Break 2.0 Built. 99 When I start it, it goes straight up on 2000 tours, while at the stand it runs completely restless. Also the workshop doesn’t know any more, they changed candles, idlers. The diagnostic device also shows nothing, was there itself. Nobody seems to have a solution for this annoying topic. Who knows more?

Experience on 508 (new acquisition)
Hello people, I’m just looking for a new car. Since I already had a 407 from 2008-2013, I want to buy a peugeot again. At the moment I have a 535d BMW. And let’s say so. One BMW and never another such a sch*** house. And that’s what the 508 SW with 2.0 HDI 163 hp speaks to me in the Professinal line equipment. Because he already has nice gimmicks. (Navi, Panorama glass roof, Head up) Maybe you could tell me your experiences, which you with the car ha bt, or had. Since you satisfied or not? I know. Most of it I will then notice, see, feel during a test drive anyway. But other opinions are still important to me for the decision and I can then immediately address various problems or weak points. Be happy to answer yours. greet Chris
