Hello everyone Today I started to change the timing belt on my Peugeot 406 2.0HDI bj.2000. The change procedure is well known to me but it is the first time I dare to do this. So I start from the beginning. The first thing I did is that I have made all the plastic parts that are runherunm (air filter housing, computer unit housing etc.) The starter is also off. The timing belt covers are also off. Now the TOT position of the motor follows. The crankshaft After Hayene’s instructions I blocked with an 8mm bolt, but the hole on the flywheel just doesn’t get into the position of the lock on the engine block so that I can insert the second 8mm bolt. Can it be that someone used to put it there (the flywheel is not installed properly) and does it make much difference if I change the timing belt without the flywheel’s Blocade? If you need pictures I can make it tomorrow. Thank you.

Peugeot 508GT Recommended ? Experiences ?
Hello together, I am currently driving a Peugeot 407 Coupe with 2.7L HDI and 204hp with full equipment. Now I am thinking of buying a 508GT as a limo (SW does not want my wife). What do the professionals among you mean in the Peugeot warehouse? Maybe one or the other also writes his experiences with his 508GT. I also looked around: Mercedes C-Class = forget about interior, just cheap plastic Audi A4 = if then only with leather and better engine (from 200hp ). In the standard version as you often see it, it doesn’t work with the interior at all and it’s also expensive. BMW 3s and 5s = Same, don’t talk to me, and ask me until today what should be “premium” here (unless you put a lot of coal on the table). So only the Peugeot stayed there again, just speaks to me, inside as well as outside.

Start problems with Peugeot 407 SW
Hello, who can help me? I have a Peugeot 407 SW Diesel, B.J 2006 because it first sprang after many start attempts. my lion has 116500 km, this week was the one at free workshop 2 days was looking for the error and found nothing which have separated complete diesel line up to the injector and connected a tank with diesel then everything has worked freely as the told me. After that a seal on the line was replaced and it worked r for 2 days after that came the same problem again. Again with the workshop on the phone and I was told that I should replace completely from the hand pump to the injection with housing for diesel filters. Just I tried to separate the line from fuelilter and plug it in together without the fuelilter, it did not bring anything the problem is still there. My guess is now that something has to do with the starter, because if I want to start the engine The battery was tested yesterday and that’s Ok which was changed a year ago. Thanks in advance for your answer. I’m sure you’ll be happy to hear from me.

406C Consumption Manual vs. Autom.
Hello together, I play with the thought of buying a used 406C pinin, in which I would have 2 questions to the experts and/or owner of this noble piece automobile: 1. In the official 406C brochure the consumption of the 3L V6 207PS with 10L/100 is on average, the automatic version of the same however with only 0.4L more, i.e. 10,4L to 100. Is this only a theoretical value or does the version for one-legged really consume only so little more? 2. if I use this 3.0 L Version 10km to go to work, then I only heat the car unnecessary or does the engine actually get warm at such a distance? So, long speech short sense, I look forward to every answer. Greetings, a coming Peugeot driver donjoe1980

Question about 406 Coupé automatic air conditioning, exterior mirror el.
Hello together, since yesterday proud owner of a 406 Coupé 2.2 Platinum and am totally satisfied with the car so far. I still have some questions: The car has automatic air conditioning and as soon as I press the button “Auto” the “A/C” lights up at the same time in the display. Why actually ? Since I have set the temperature so to 21 degrees does not need the car to switch on the air conditioning, or ? Did not notice the money “A/C” at some point so I always switch it off manually because of the fuel verbracu… can someone please explain to me how this whole climate control system works now? Thanks in advance. My second question is: Every time I park the electric outdoor mirrors I flap inwards by switch. As soon as I get back into the car and go off, I want to fold out the mirrors again, however, you only move a little bit… so power out again, switch for mirror again and then moto r start…is this so normal? Or do I have to just put the switch in “normal position” before I start the engine… ? Thanks for your Antwrote ! Greet all Peugeot friends, Branko

Starting difficulties with 406 II 2.0 petrol
Slowly it gets too much for me. Now that I have changed the rear silencer, temperature sensor, middle silencer this year alone and the heat exchanger ́ne Macke has and a leak on the servo oil tank or hoses has to be located, now it comes to the fact that the 406 starts badly. It was from today ́ to tomorrow suddenly there that I had to nudge in the cold (or almost cold) condition for quite a long time until it sprang up. Then the first bars were seen r irregular. At times, after a few hundred meters of driving, the engine control light came out, which was however after a restart again. A fault diagnosis with A.T.U. resulted in three error messages: 1. camshaft sensor, 2. mixture adaptation (or so similar), 3. I don’t know anymore, but was unimportant (I can’t play back exactly at the moment). Since this great workshop couldn’t do anything, they just deleted and finished the error memory. “Continue watching. Well, at least If someone has an idea where the fault might be, that the 406 will start so badly? As I said, it came from one day to the other, and when it runs, it runs great. So I would like to exclude spark plugs or petrol pump. Greeting Woelffchen406

Peugeot 607 with Wi-Fi
Hello forum, I would like to install WLAN in my 607 and ask you if someone has ever had problems with a notebook or similar devices in 607. Car type see below. What do I have in mind. . . . I have an RT3 Navi, in which you can unlock the audio connection in the glove compartment (with the latest software version 6.61). Since I don’t have half things some, I want to have all Audio CD, audio book CD and of course language course CD, which have accumulated in the course of the decades, in the car. here my shopping list: Dell Axim X51v (which will be my player in the car) Asus WL-HDD In the WLAN hard disk housing WL-HDD any 2.5-inch IDE hard disk can be installed, on the 802.11b/g Wi-Fi 2.5-wide hard disk: 160GB Seagate ST9160821A Momentus 540.3 160GB ATA (here the data come from) power inverter 150 VA from 12V DC to 230V AC (so I create a 230V network in the car) if someone has a better idea, I’m open to anything.

Peugeot 406hdi power loss
good day I had a power loss in my 406er. the motor diagnosis lights up. it happened when speeding up, the power was lost. now he is completely funny to drive. I only get busy up to 3000 turns and that very slowly. but on a next car tour that happened again. the workshop said it was the turbo before he suspected something with air supply or quantity in connection with emergency program. according to motor diagnosis it was overpressure and that indicates turbo, ansc heinend. I would be grateful to answer TOM
