  • Clutch slips at 1.6 HDI after 46,000 km

    Hello, I have a 407 SW 1,6l HDI, EZ 12/06, for two weeks, the clutch slips through. Since I used to work as a test engineer at a manufacturer for automatic transmissions, I know how to treat clutch and drive train gently. Nevertheless, the clutch is now defective and Peugeot represents this as if the clutch had broken due to wear, than because of mistreatment by me. Interestingly, by the way, that the customer consultant was not surprised at all that d he clutch was already defective so quickly and knew immediately that this would have to be a diesel. A search in the forums also shows that the Peugeot Diesel obviously have a problem with the pressure pressure through the membrane spring. Although Peugeot knows that, they try to steal themselves from the responsibility for this pathetic quality and also to earn fat. Does anyone have an idea how to get Peugeot legally here?   • Peugeot 605 V6 with LPG car gas

    Hello, I had my V6 (Bj 2000/140KW) rebuilt and now drive with car gas (LPG). When refuelling, the number of liters is now turning faster than the Euro number: that’s wonderful. In gas operation itself, the engine also ventilates satisfactorily. But of course, the engine always starts in petrol operation – and there are problems: it jerks strongly and takes on bad gas. It runs far too fat. After switching to gas operation after approx.30 … 60 sec everything is then OK again. There is no mistake in this. I have now made a reset of the motor field several times ((+, – cable together). So the engine runs again wonderfully in petrol operation. After switching to gas operation and then again to petrol operation, the old problem is there again: that is, the engine gets wrong information somewhere. But where???? I outsmarted it a bit and paralyzed the heater of the Lambda probe (secure #11). It takes a little longer then until it takes him a little longer. of course, the on-board computer also spins: it calculates a consumption and counts down the digital display of the petrol residual volume and the liters become less and less – although it almost does not consume gasoline. When filling e.g. 5l petrol there are again many liters in the display. But I don’t think that this is the problem. So, who tells the adaptive engine control unit that it should grease???     Hello My Coupe (BJ2003) died to me this week. Shortly after the start of the car came a message “Environmental protection system engine weak” , then drove about 500m , then there was a bang in the engine room and the beast stood. Let the car to the workshop, get a rental car and the next day tell me that the engine was over. The following explanation was given to me: Supposedly the crankcase ventilation had frozen, the oil would have searched the way over the air filter, so that the he engine oil sucked in -> overpressure -> engine wide.     So finally I got all the parts sent today. A Sony radio, adapter for display + FB. I also connected it the same way… it works remote control super. Display also very good. Unfortunately the file names are not displayed. But not so tragic. I’m very satisfied. Price: Adapter 99 euro. In it is then also the DIN adapter. ES GET ALSO DOCH 🙂 beautiful christmas

    The standard speakers seem to be pretty bad, I’ve looked at the woofers now, that’s just such a cheap cardboard thing. I think there will be others coming in soon.     Tomorrow people, at the end of June 2005 I had bought 406 HDI, BJ 12/2000. The dealer made the 80,000 inspection at the time of collection. Now he has 91,000 km on it. It was only funny excuses again and with the 80,000 everything had been checked and nothing was done. During this inspection extremely conspicuous rust was overlooked and two broken door seals. In the brake control alone one should have had to look for this Mistand itself. Well, had to stop now to the Tüv and this made me nicely fail because of lack of handbrake performance, so again call to the dealer and he said, the rear brake yes nic ht so would be used and would thereby lose some of the performance, something of performance?!?!?!!!?? I told him the values left 20!!!!!!!!!!!! right 140, if the know what he is saying???
