Hello, last year I made the oil change myself. I had a 78 mm Febi Bilstein filter and was on the road again today to carry out the next oil change due. For this time I had chosen a 76 mm filter from MANN, with a return lock valve, because my filter is in a kind of half shaft diagonally in the engine compartment, so that during the dismantling definitely runs out of soup. Man can not fast enough hold a flap in front or turn the filter. I wanted to save myself for the future. Now the place at the 508 is not exactly luxuriant. I had bought for it a universal key, which has so two jagged jaws and joint lock. I had the first change without problems. On the second start today, he failed. The mechanics is broken. And on site there were unfortunately neither suitable plug attachments for the 76 filter, nor could I use the usual three-arm claws, because the arms too far after In short: I had to stop the oil change for the time being because of lack of tools. I know quite sure that I had tightened the Febi Bilstein filter with 30 nm. I had used my torque wrench extra for this. But either the one that is now fixed or the tool that I had just failed. What can I do? Is there a chemi that I can use in the Zwi And yes, I also had the rubber seal properly lubricated with oil before installation. But this was really unnecessary during the installation: I didn’t get everything really clean in the shaft at the time, because when the oil filter was being dismantled, so much waste oil simply flowed out of it until I could turn around. Everyone who has the 508, hopefully knows what I’m talking about. Maybe it helps if I could use the oil filter. n Oil filter in cold state try to loosen? I would not like to use the method with the screwdriver. I don’t think there would really be room for this in the engine compartment. I am very grateful for ideas. Research on the Internet revealed that something like this can happen over all manufacturers. That’s comforting, but doesn’t help me car is a 508 Hybrid Diesel from 2013

Peugeot 407 Automatic is stuck in P and does not start (display shows – )
Good day to everyone. I recently bought a Peugeot 407 Platinum with 2.7 liter V6 Bi Turbo and automatic. Engine has 150KW. Engine runs, when it runs, very well, the turbo ́s chirping cheerfully and he drives like a dream. BUT after a certain time he beeps briefly, then goes out and the display shows instead of P or D and so on at once only one – or also German a stroke. Then he doesn ́t go on or the starter doesn ́t spin anymore. because of the automatic he has a lock relay that he can only be started in P. If this happens and I put it in P, however, nothing changes on the display, at – and starter still does nothing. Apart from that, this happens even when he stands on P. So beeps, shows – and goes out. If this has happened and the lever is on P or I put it back on P to start, he also stops and then can’t move. The previous owner has then always few ma l hit the control unit in the engine compartment and at some point the display showed P again and then it can be started completely normal again. Absolutely crazy. I type on a wobble contact or a faulty relay. Unfortunately, some relays are soldered but that would be no problem. I have soldering irons. Nevertheless, the question remains: 1. Why is the lever stuck when the display shows one? 2. Why doesn’t it start any more? 3. Is there anyone else? I hope one of you knows the phenomane and can give me a little more help or tips. PS: In the appendix, the diagnostic report from the tester Or here, the direct link to the report:https://usait.x431.com/…/+1

2000 HDi and biodiesel – are you OK?
Hi together, I bought a 3 1/2 year old Peugeot 406 Break HDi 110 Premium this morning, black-metallic, full leather, 235 BBS rims and sports suspension (a little brazen, I have to admit, but looks nice). Car has run 1 previous owner and 74,000 km. I hope I’m lucky with this car. Certainly a lot of questions will occur in the next time – I would have the first ones already: Is there a release of Peugeot for organic diesel and if yes, you have Erf The second: The car has to be inspected in about 10,000 km. What costs do I have to reckon with? What is the guarantee if I don’t have the inspections carried out at Peugeot? How does Peugeut handle all aspects of collec tiveness? That’s it, thanks for Info’s and Greetings Christoph

Sports-models of Peugeot, especially 407
Hi, actually I’m a stranger here, and I belong in the TT camp. But since I may soon be a member of Peugeot Germany, I would like to ask myself briefly: I would buy a Peugeot as an MA, of course, but I am a bit pre-loaded by the Audi, in other words, I get nothing in series without deteriorating. The 407 is available with a V6, but it also has “only” 210 hp… Is there no small series of the Peugeot models, above all from the 407, which is on the b for example, Renault also has a racing clio and the Megane Sport. The study 407 “Silhouette” e.g. is extremely good for me. Unfortunately, the car doesn’t exist. Do you know which tuners have a nice program for the 407, especially with regard to the performance increase of the V6 engine? Or are there sports variants of the 407 or other model series with real power? One that looks like the “Silhouette” and has this performance I would take immediately… The series vehicles are too good for me, although the design, especially the 407, is very nice. Thank you for your advice.

607 in autumn/winter: constantly foggy windows
Hello community, especially in autumn and winter I have an unpleasant problem with the smearing of the windows with my 607 and would like to have some practical tips from you. Forward: I changed the indoor air filter (used a model with activated charcoal). The air conditioning is always running during the ride (even if it shuts off automatically from any threshold) and the windows have been treated with an anti-fog spray from Sonax. In addition, I have in the Inn At the beginning of the winter I also changed the outside temperature sensor. Now the correct values are displayed again. The fogging was even more extensive before these actions – nevertheless it still disturbs. The 607 is often moved for long distances during the weekend. During the week it is often outdoors, but also the accommodation in an underground garage has not changed the behavior. As far as I can see, it is in the indoor and outdoor areas. In the 407 I read that there is a temperature and humidity sensor, which is supposed to prevent the fogging of the windows – is this also possible with my 607? If necessary, this sensor is also defective… Thank you Sebastian

406 does not start; 2 KfZ masters face puzzles
One master works at Peugeot, the other one has a free workshop. So: from +4 degrees and colder he no longer jumps on his own, even though the starter turns and the battery is strong. The following parts new: OT-Geber, temperature sensor, idle control. According to both experts after the diagnosis it is clear: there is no petrol from behind or there is no ignition spark, so “Startpilot” did nothing. Then he has to “catch” himself for a moment and then stays on. After that, if he goes out, he jumps again with his own strength. But as soon as he has stood for a few hours, nothing happens again. Both it is completely inexplicable why he still starts by towing would be great if one of you still has a ignite idea Thank you

Turbo failure Peugeot 407SW HDI135
Hello all, I’ve had the problem for 3 days that I’ve had the turbo several times on the Autóbahn. Nach ride on parking lot and engine AUS/AN he is immediately there with full power, 50 km later it occurred again and the same game. Basically the car has still accelerated without turbo, but just in slow motion. It was also no Ruckeln, etc. to feel just no power. Had at the very beginning as a new car already the problem and there was on guarantee a magnetventi l replaced. Now he is standing garade in the factory town (Official Peugeot Workshop) and they suspect that the turbo is defective and is to be replaced. magnet valve is excluded. First tomorrow, however, consultation with the Peugeot headquarters is to be held. Ask yourself now. Does anyone know such a problem? How can a turbo damage by motor on/off be (temporary) gone again. For me as a total layman it sounds more like a problem of “steering” systems around it? around an HDI135 engine (407SW) with year of construction 08/2005 and approx. 110T km. I find it quite early a turbodefect after 110T km. Would be nice if you would hurry me your opinion. Thanks & Greeting Jürgen

how long without particle filter regeneration
Dear Community, I have the following problem with my 407 SW 2.7 HDI: When I purchased it in 2021, the error code was: P1351 Glu?hzeitrelais Interruption in the circuit. Since the previous owner announced that he had changed the glow plugs, I simply changed the corresponding control unit. The particle filters regeneration functioned for quite a while now until the errors appeared again in May this year. The following errors are stored this time g ewesen: Error code: P0069 Air pressure and/or suction tube pressure sensor Signals faulty/under each other unplausible. Error code: P1351 Glu?hzeitrelais Interruption in the circuit. Error code: P1351 Glu?hzeitsteuergera?t function faulty. When starting, of course, he shows engine error, let vehicle repair! I want to have the candles definitely changed, but only after the holiday. I want to drive with the car to Spain in July, 3000 km = return journey. Anson Is it not really moving? Do you think this is possible without an emergency program coming? I want to push the repair a little further, because I have invested really enough money in the last months. The local workshop stay once again cost 600 euros. The before that not beyond the 1000th best regards.

Oil change interval
Hello, is with the 2.2 HDI the oil change interval 20 or 30,000 ? We no longer have the logbook. Currently we are 27,000 after the last change and drive next week on the holiday with about 4500 km. Absolutely before make or relaxed after the holiday?
