  • Engine damage Peugeot Boxer Bj 2010

Moin together, I have a problem with my Peugeot Boxer (250 l, 2.2 HDI, 120 HP BJ 2010) & vlt. had someone here already experience with the same. Short to the background: I was on the highway, suddenly the temperature indicator jumps into the maximum, the red lamp lights up and the engine goes into the emergency run. I stopped, the hood opened; nothing. The engine was not exceptionally hot. Cooling water was warm and it was of course pressure on it. After I put the lid a little bit off Fgeschraubt & let everything cool down again. Engine jumped on without any problems, but the temperature indicator went directly back into the red area and emergency run was also inside. The ADAC then brought it to the next workshop. There the car did not start the next day at all. Only with start aid & full throttle it went on but then it also ran more than round. The temperature indicator also went directly up again and the fan jumped immediately. The control unit k They didn’t read out (Cold Soldering point?! I changed the battery the day before. Could a short circuit have been created?) We were then towed to a Peugeot workshop. They looked at this and said something about underpressure in the engine. The start problems could probably be due to defective injection nozzles (these are also wet at the edge) which to check and possibly replace would cost a lot. Especially after that one would not know if the problem would be solved u And it could be that you have to take the engine completely apart. In the end, I was told by the flower that this was an economic total damage. The car was always running perfectly with the mileage of 346,000 km. Oil changes etc. were always made. Now my question: Has anyone ever had experience with similar problems? If so, what was it in the end? Should one repair the control unit first? Would a replacement engine be more worthwhile? The bodywork is top in shot. If someone is on the road in the Bremen room and knows about PN. Thank you in advance.

  • Reset maintenance display Boxer III 2.2 HDI

Hello, can someone tell me how I can reset my maintenance indicator for my Peugeot Boxer III 2.2 HDI? Currently, the indication “Motor oil change” comes briefly in the indicator when starting the engine and the red oil can blinks about 3-4 times. But an oil change was made about 5000 km ago and the oil level is also i.o., oil indicator in the display shows 5 out of 6 display points. Does one of you know if it has to do with the provision of the maintenance indicator? Hope for answers.

  • Peugeot Boxer 2012

Hello guys, can someone tell me if this vehicle has a belt or chain? Hsn 3003 AQV bj 2012 peugeot Boxer 185,000 km And it shows a red door as a lamp with the sporadic message (I think it’s connected with gas and brake, thereby shaking the door behind ) “Back door open r Wireless remote control close press, it only flashes a few times very quickly, but does not close. Does that depend on it? I would be happy to answer about it. THANK YOU: I just read a little bit in the net and came across a video that is a green plug. If you remove it, it will be closed. (opening also before) However, the window lifters also run over it. So you put it back in again. Unfortunately, it opens on its own again and closes the door. This is not possible again. If you try to finish : See video : As link in YouTube https://youtube.com/shorts/0qyLbdYLOok?feature=share

  • (cold) Engine start sounds changed [Peugeot Boxer 3 (250) 2.2 HDi – Diesel]

Good day dear forum, since recently my boxer sounds “unround” when starting in the morning. It “schappert” / “klackert” from the engine room (hearable in the cab and from the outside) at the beginning for a short time when I start the engine. When driving myself I hear nothing more about it. Even if the engine is already warm, this noise no longer comes at the start. The following current scenario: – I am currently in Crete – The car has 101,000km on it – Oil change (incl. filter) was at 90,000 1 year car guarantee (by sale at the dealer) runs until 14.01.2022. -> About this can be saved % with the material, as well as complete personnel costs Question 1: How can I check as a layman whether the noise comes from a loose part or the engine has taken damage? I can pay for the smaller repairs (as well as wear parts) from my own pocket. Question 2: Should an appointment be agreed at a dt. Peugeot specialist workshop before expiry of the guarantee, in order if necessary the Re Question 3: Can the repair by the specialist workshop of Mir as customer be refused if the costs are too high? So only the analysis will be taken over. Question 4: Does jmd know a good Peugeot specialist workshop in the area Swabian Alb? Question 5:Alternatively, a workshop visit in Greece, Albania, Croatia, Italy. Does jmd have experience? Thank you for your help Greetings!

  • Peugeot J5 2.5 TD engine does not start

Hello together, I have a problem with my Peugeot J5 2.5 TD, 70 kw, where I need help from experts. The engine sometimes doesn’t start. When the ignition key is turned on, all necessary control lamps start, which pre-glow (the pre-gloss lamp) lasts quite long, about 15 sec. When turning the ignition key to start then nothing happens! The first suspicion was the starter/magnet switch. So I installed a new starter. The problem is still there. I then tracked back the cable path (switched plus contact from the starter) and found a plug connection (in driving direction right between the headlight and battery) If I open this plug connection and give a plus contact directly from the battery to the starter, the motor will start perfectly. So far, this is always the case. i each of my attempts. So the suspicion was obvious, the ignition lock is defective. I got a new one and tried it out. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work either. Now there’s another special feature in the problem, which might help to locate the error. Every time I start the engine, by giving the necessary plus contact directly from the battery to the starter, I can also start the engine normally again with the ignition key. The above-mentioned special feature is that I can no longer switch off the engine using the ignition key. The engine continues to run, although the ignition key is in the “motor-off” position. However, when I then step off the brake pedal, the engine goes off. I think this is connected to the braking lights in operation. When looking into the circuit diagram, I discovered a “safety switch starter” (so named in the circuit diagram) that is connected between the switched plus pole of the ignition lock. Can this “safety switch starter” cause the problem? I don’t know about this thing. It would be nice if one of them could help me. I think starter and ignition lock can be excluded. Also the often mentioned ground connection must be fine, because otherwise the working engine starts could not work. What is the problem. H i l f e!
