My Outlander PHEV is seven and a half years old, bought it 5 years ago and was very happy until mid-November. Then the drama began: On November 17th, at the start of the event, I got the error message “Drive unit defective”. After I first suspected a marten damage and had it examined in a neighbouring workshop, he was dragged to a Mitsubishi workshop. They read the error (loader gun defective), charged me, could a So he had to go to another Mitsubishi workshop. After 10 days (overload due to several outlanders with the problem) they changed the loading gun. Courage request rejected, cost €2000,-. But the car still does not go. The workshop has brought a specialist from Mitsubishi, He has left after a day of troubleshooting unfinished things again. We have meanwhile in mid-December. In the following week was informed by Mitsubishi, it was not repaired. It could be the front motor. The workshop has reasonably refused to replace the engine on this assumption (cost €2000,-). It could be the battery or the converter. The workshop has again submitted a bill of laxity request-rejected, again asked a specialist –rejected. Now it suddenly says “it is probably the converter, cost without installation €10,000,-, but it could also be the battery €8000,-. So it could be the front motor, the converter od he will be the battery. In total €20,000,- without working time and the already installed charging protector for €2000,- Because the contract workshop also doesn’t know any more, I sent a letter to Mitsubishi to know how to proceed – no answer!!!

Emergency wheel
Moinsen, I’d like some advice on the bike… Yes, the statistics speak against it, but without spare wheel / emergency bike I don’t feel comfortable on long distances. Does any of you have a solution to my problem? Does anyone have an emergency bike? Has any of you tried to get something like this? Please don’t have a discussion on the topic “doesn’t need a woman”. I’ve already experienced too much.

Outlander 2.2 Diesel went out and stopped starting
Hello community, I have been standing here for a few weeks an outlander that went out during the ride and couldn’t get started any more. I measured the pre-shipment pressure which was at 0bar. I then removed the pre-shipment pump and saw that the pump hose still goes on a valve and then only up to the output/direction motor. I put the hose directly from pump to top, then the motor jumped with bitsl starter turn on. Then I have a new pump mi t slinging pot ordered because I assumed that the valve in the pump is defective. Unfortunately, the engine still doesn’t start. Error log when I read it the first time is attached, Now only one error is left with the incandescent time control unit.

Recommendation for purchase Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
Hello, I am thinking about buying a PHEV of 03/2017 with approx. 90000 km as a second car for short distance. 1 year warranty would be included. Now I have read about the problem with the battery (software/BMS). Is there someone who has the same year of construction and similar km number? What is your experience with the range? According to the information I have so far, one can only record a software update from 2019. All older models have neither an update nor an update. second point I have read is that the oil level is rising and too much petrol in the oil is due to the many cold starts. What else should you pay attention to at the BJ? Is it even useful to buy the car? Thanks David

Oil consumption Eclipse Cross
Good evening together, I thought that I already found my new one, since I looked on a dealer’s side the Eclipse Cross and that looks great already. I bitl Google fed and found a post that should probably tend to swallow at higher running speeds 1l oil on 1tsd km. Will the soup be cooked hotter than it is eaten or is there anything? Found one from 2018 with approx. 38tkm for 18.5k. In retrospect I got stutzig- little km for the age. How are eu re experience with the vehicle there are serious problems? Thank you and love greetings

All-weather tyres on Outlander PHEV
I am pleasantly surprised. Since first registration in May 2019 we drive all-weather tyres of the Falken brand. The car now has almost 52,000 km down and the tyres still have a profile depth of about 5 to 5.5 mm (v+h). I checked this today, because the car has to be examined in May 2022. For a two-ton (empty weight) I find this very good. According to various tire tests, the wear limit should be reached with this mileage already long ago. The tyres are neither I swear on the all-weather tires of Goodyear 4 Seasons. But it wasn’t the same size in 2019. This has changed in the meantime. How are your experiences with tires on the Outlander? Does it actually deal with the tires as gently as it seems? It’s about the Outlander – and not about other models.

1.8 Di-D 150: Rattle in the intermediate gas and hit steering wheel/pedals
If the C4 Aircross (Diesel) is at operating temperature, then one hears a rattle in the intermediate gas range. At the same time, this rattle is accompanied by a clear stroke in the steering wheel and in the pedals, but both occur only when the outside temperature is well above 15 degrees and the engine has operating temperature (90 degrees). The workshop of the used car dealer was surprised and then the screws on the bend were then attached to the car. Rattlen was no longer there on the way home, but then came back on the next longer journey. What can it be and how can one document this so that the workshop can actually improve within the scope of the used car warranty?

Inspection full of surprises
Hello dear Mitsubishi friends or connoisseurs of the topic, we just had the second inspection, at 17,300 Km, done. Replacement vehicle 26,00 € Engine oil 4,6 Ltr 128,00 € Brake fluid 22,00 € Key battery 8,60 € Battery charge 100,00 € Service according to protocol 420,00 € With all small parts together 730,00 € Battery range allegedly 41 Km ? Should actually be over 50 Km! Capacity status should be within the specifications of the specification ? No protocol about the state of the battery! If anyone can understand this, I am grateful for further advice.

Exhaust gas test
Last week TüV and AU were due. Although my car is fully in fire, so absolutely no defects, I did not get an AU!! The values were very high. Then again all filters were changed, again checked for errors… etc. Monday morning the examiner was again there, with the same device !, and what should I tell you … the values have risen immensely … failed!! For 300€… What should I do now? First refuel the expensive diesel …have 4 weeks time a If the examiners come back with the new equipment (according to the law probably from 1.7.2023), I probably have no chance. Do you have a tip? It will soon go other, with Euro6 cars, also like that.. LG Hexlein
