Hello, Does the Pajero 2.8 BJ 1996 have a pre-glow control unit? If so, where is it installed? If I start the car in the early morning, then it smokes and shakes. I read here that it is probably the injection pump. have had the ESP repaired, installed new glow plugs, new relay (which next to fuse box) the problem still exists. I have also installed a pre-feed pump, did not help anything. (Hardi from Kraftst…pumpen.com) Transparent cables monti Is it possible to see if there is air in the system, nothing! IMPORTANT!! The annealing succeeds manually via a switch (the previous owner reads) Can the problem lie in it? When I press the button KLACKT the relay then I remain 5 sec on the switch and it starts immediately. (also at -15 degrees) . I let go of the switch KLACKT it again and stops to glows. (Pre-annealing only when activated, so after-annealing wouldn’t be technically possible) Maybe it should also after-anneale? s problem in it? When he quit smoking and shaking after about 15 sec he runs quite normal. Ask for your help, I’ll end up with my ABC.

Power loss after engine update ASX
Hello, since last December I drive an ASX with 150hp diesel. I was very pleased with the driving performance until about 2 months ago during the 15,000km inspection of Mitsubishi a motor update was started. Without information on my part, I was only surprised that the passage of the car was significantly worse after the inspection. The turbo uses much later and much more timidly, I have to switch back from the upper gears on slight gradients, but I have to This is now no longer 150Ps, it feels absolutely tangled up. I then approached my workshop, which then informed me about the updated version. I wrote a letter to the workshop, which was forwarded to Mitsubishi. The day before yesterday I took a test ride on this topic together with the master responsible, he confirmed my impression. My question now here in the round: Am I the only one to do this like this? or has anyone else had similar experiences? The update is provided by Mitsubishi and has to be carried out in order not to lose the type-approval, they told me. Only if the performance thus deteriorates, must one accept it?

iPod problems ASX
Now that I have the ASX for about 3 weeks and am completely satisfied, one thing that makes me think. If I like iPod Classic (also iPod Touch, also other USB cables) connect to the USB interface of the ASX and wait for the music, there is nothing at all, but there is always only iPod LOAD in the display !!! To limit it, I have to say that it has worked like it happened before, but only parts of the iPod have been read after a long waiting time. e already improves and simplifies the folder structure, no improvement in sight, the ASX probably has a mess at the interface of the USB ????? Does someone have the same problems or can offer a solution ? I would be glad about it. Otherwise: ASX is a horny car (of course it is always Nörgler egn, who buy a car according to smell or such a shit, I buy it according to usability), software is played Friday, that this jerking stops at 1600 upm (150 HP Diesel), otherwise nix too Goes hard on the highway for the first time next week, let’s see…

Pajero V60 control chain torn at 78000 km
Hello municipality, with my Pajero V60 DI-D, automatic, BJ 2003 the control chain is torn at KM-Stand 78000, according to m_händler the fuselage is ok, the head has to be renewed, the estimate is 6500.-€. 2008 in Nov. the head seal was renewed and the head was planned, the control chain was installed out and again. I know that there is an internal paper at Mitsubishi, which when the chain is installed the engine can not be turned counter-clockwise in any case, But it seems to have happened here. The question is that you can prove something like that and is it basically allowed to plan your head with the DI-D or does it have to be renewed? Anyway, I am sitting on the damage and my dealer only twitches with the shoulders… bad luck? …that can’t be! Who can help me?

Rust on the ASX
Hello guys! Unfortunately I had to find out that the drive shafts and the exhaust are rusty on my six weeks new ASX! Is something like this normal, or is it due to poor quality? A Dekra employee told me that the drive shafts were probably not painted, that was bad! Did someone have to have similar experiences? Has Mitsubishi saved there? Some screws on the exhaust system together with mounting brackets are totally rusty, as if they were already years old. before a MX-5, the exhaust system was still ok after 10 years. Does anyone have a tip for me? Thanks and greeting Bulbrok!

Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin – Who has experience with it?-
Hello, I am looking for a relatively robust and also relatively cheap car. Mostly I drive only short distances. To work, to shop. I still have a garden outside the city to which I drive daily. You can reach it only by a dirt road. Last winter I ended up with it several times in the ditch :-((Now I was taken by a friend (the father was first owner, the car drove 10 years and suddenly died at 75 years) following car offered: Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin 2.0 GDI, built in 2000, Km-Stand 79000, petrol engine, 1999 engine capacity, key number 7107/288, 95 kw/129 PS for the price of 2,500 € offered. The car was always “examined” in the workshop. TÜV is still up to 11/2011. I have already completed a test drive by car. Does quite well. Condition outside according to my opinion quite good. However, I had and have no idea of a “roadcar”. So far I have driven a FIAT Punto, de Now I have to make a quick decision. Yes or no? Who can give me here a good and above all honest advice as a “newbie” on the forum and also as a car inexperienced woman. Cost tax, insurance, repairs…… Still to note. I have a knee-high dog, of course also always with :-))) Already gaaaaananz love thanks to all, who register Hedgehog 4711

I’m open to diesel or petroler Which model, which BJ / MJ , which equipment or what combination do you recommend ? What should I pay attention to when buying, what weaknesses does it have ? Personally I like the 07-10 model the front find more beautiful than the from 2010 price also attractive Mfg Marvw

Battery/Software Problems with the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
Hello together. I have seen on You Tube of ‘unplugged EV’ -EP220- ” The worldwide outlander PHEV battery/software problem explained in German “. Since I am enthusiastic about this vehicle and intend to acquire a PHEV soon, I was of course very surprised if such a problem. That would be almost an exclusion criterion if Mitsubishi Japan ignored the probably existing software problem. What experiences have been made here so far regarding the software, which the drastic the scope of the AKKUS? He also describes in his film, which the 2019 models are even more affected. Unfortunately, the STOCKY2605 had already stopped the topic in the forum too late.

Heating Eclipse Cross + Questions about driving
Hello together, so on the topics of driving and consumption I have already read a lot in the forum. Unfortunately I can now not make a more precise reference to my driving method. During the week I can fill up electricity in the company and that allows me to work with the purely electric drive. But: every Friday it goes back to Munich, and Sunday again, single ride about 90 km. I already said goodbye to the motorway driver’s business, at the current fuel prices. and consists mainly of villages, 70’s and 80’s zones, and I don’t overtake trucks anymore (many of them already drive over 90). With the Toyota RAV4 Vollhybrid I have driven the track before and managed it with 5.6 liters. If I now consider the higher weight at the Eclipse, a consumption of 6.5 liters should be feasible, or what do you think? (So without electric charge, I don’t have the possibility in Munich). Which mode would you recommend me for this trip? n? But what interests me most: heater! I’m not quite smart yet. Does this only serve to heat the interior when driving in EV mode? Or can I also use it to preheat, so that the windows are flattened and the interior is nice and warm before I get in? And is this fuelled with petrol or electricity from the battery? Thank you for your answers!

Mitsubishi? never again!!!
My Outlander PHEV is seven and a half years old, bought it 5 years ago and was very happy until mid-November. Then the drama began: On November 17th, at the start of the event, I got the error message “Drive unit defective”. After I first suspected a marten damage and had it examined in a neighbouring workshop, he was dragged to a Mitsubishi workshop. They read the error (loader gun defective), charged me, could a So he had to go to another Mitsubishi workshop. After 10 days (overload due to several outlanders with the problem) they changed the loading gun. Courage request rejected, cost €2000,-. But the car still does not go. The workshop has brought a specialist from Mitsubishi, He has left after a day of troubleshooting unfinished things again. We have meanwhile in mid-December. In the following week was informed by Mitsubishi, it was not repaired. It could be the front motor. The workshop has reasonably refused to replace the engine on this assumption (cost €2000,-). It could be the battery or the converter. The workshop has again submitted a bill of laxity request-rejected, again asked a specialist –rejected. Now it suddenly says “it is probably the converter, cost without installation €10,000,-, but it could also be the battery €8000,-. So it could be the front motor, the converter od he will be the battery. In total €20,000,- without working time and the already installed charging protector for €2000,- Because the contract workshop also doesn’t know any more, I sent a letter to Mitsubishi to know how to proceed – no answer!!!
