Hello community ! Maybe someone has a tip in which direction I should look. The problem is the following: The car did not pass the AU because of too high CO values. The AU was already a drama before, because the car took a long time to meet the values, but this time it was not possible – despite 2 attempts with long warm-up in between. The CO values behaved quite strangely: First the values went down quite normally, even to 0.09. According to the program d After that, the values increased exorbitantly again, up to approx. 3.5. As if there was something ‘saturating’. Has someone ever had such an unusual problem and a tip for me. I would be very grateful for that; I don’t know where to start looking. Hello, I have met Jan from Schleswig-Holstein and by chance on a Rover 200 1.4i 3-door, which I bought as a winter car also immediately. Set of summer tyres on Alu there was – 2nd hand – el glass roof, el. FH front, Funk-ZV, Servo, Color, 135TKM , check booklet up to 90,000 km. Purchase price 300,- Euro with TÜV until 09.2015, color blue blackmet., EZ 01.2000. Since cooling water ran out, I gave him a new WaPu as well as a new Conti timing belt. And since the prices for everything so niedri g were also a full-heather equipment as well as a wooden switch from the same Honda Civic and a wood/leather steering wheel from the bay. I also shot a set of original wheel caps for the Wintis and an original Rover Cassette radio from England cheaply. Total expenditure up to now 650.- Euro. And the car drives really well. On the track with 75 hp is effortlessly 170 km/h and the acceleration is also acceptable. Consumption in mixed operation 8 liters/100km. But the car is very individual. My tip: Buy, much cheaper (except with our Twingo C06) you can hardly drive.

Hi all together, I bought a Rover 75, 1.8l, 120hp with 77,000 km 1 month ago. Year of construction is 12/1999. Somehow, however, I have the feeling, it’s something wrong with the performance. In the vehicle papers 195 km/h is indicated as the maximum speed. With my previous vehicles I have always reached at least the maximum speed, where these had run considerably more kilometers. The 77,000 of my rover are actually nothing. But now I reach with the 75s in the 4. Ach and Krach 140 km/h and in 5th gear with 9% flaws and a lot of back wind just 160 km/h. In addition, it seems to me in general for 120 hp something to carry. In general, I would actually set the maximum speed to 140 – 150 km/h, which I would expect from a small car. Does anyone have an idea whether this is normal, or if I should check certain things on the engine times (and which ones are). I have a warranty on motor and Do you think that could be a guarantee? Hello, have a problem with my Rover 75, quite exactly 2 years ago the engine had to be overhauled, I think there was something with the cylinder head and then there was nothing left. The repair was quite expensive about 2,000 euros and now the engine spins again. Hardly you start with the car shoots the temperature indicator in the red area, the ADAC could not read out the car but so fast nothing can get hot and the temperature sensor is certainly defek t. The workshop where the car is now (another than the engine overhaul at the time) thinks the sensor is fine, the hoses are free. The workshop cannot find the fault and wanted to know from the first workshop what was done at that time, unfortunately this is very repellent and does not give any information. My questions are now: 1. Does anyone have any idea what this might be about? 2. The car was then from 28.06.06-13.07.06 in the workshop, the error occurred now nac h almost exactly 2 years on (ADAC 06.07.08 and afterwards in the new workshop on 10.07.08). Can you possibly still use the warranty for the repair here? I hope someone can help me, the car is really a financial disaster!

Hello everyone, I bought a Rover 45 Bj 2001 mi 67000km about 2 weeks ago. The rover was always driven by an older person before. Last week I went over the highway for the first time and see, the oil pressure lamp lights up. Shortly afterwards rattles, clacks…. in the engine room. I stopped, looked at the whole thing. Looks like the damage is somewhere next to the tooth grate, probably conrods, cylinders…. no idea. A good friend, also mechanics It seems as if the oil pump has been exposed. Under the oil cover the block was fart-rocken. Well, it finally made him friendly. He also said that it would be an engine damage and a new engine would have to be pure. However, if I could not give me a price, it would make itself looking for such a piece. My question to you,….is worth it at all. The car is otherwise top in order. Wieiv iel can thus cost an engine replacement (assembly/installation and engine)? Do you still get such pieces? MFG Petz
