  • New Space Star, sometimes with, sometimes without a navigator, sometimes with, sometimes without a rear view camera

My wife has a Space Star Select+ CVT at the Mitsubishi dealer. From a pre-order of the dealer of several vehicles, is to be delivered next week. The car we drove to the test, according to papers 3 months old and 7000 km on the clock. Also a Select+ CVT. With this was Navi on board, but no return camera. The car in the shop itself is only two days, also a Select+ CVT. With the exception of car color, it looks the same optically. Why with the vehicles Select + since 2022 no more Navi than standard equipment is available, could not be told me. According to the configurator so also not available in the variant. Wherewith the monitor is available. Could the “Extra” navigation be only missing software and and probably GPS building block missing? Can you retrofit such a thing yourself ?

  • Rover 75 Starter problems

Hello, normally I’m only in the Golf IV Forum, but my father-in-law has a Rover 75 V6 2.5 built in 2002 116.000km which now stood off for two years in the garage. Wanted to leave it on, of course with new battery. Starter jerks and clacks in the second, belts turn at the same time. However, it doesn’t work on. Headlights flicker during that. The car can be pushed and runs smoothly. Do you have an idea what it can be? Battery can already be on Thank you and greeting Julian

  • Spare parts Rover 75 in the NRW area?

My best friend is refurbishing his Rover 75 a little. Are there randomly starting points in NRW, where I get used parts well? Sometimes there are also battle vehicles on eBay classified ads. I guess there is also a part trade in Heinsberg. Thanks for your information.

  • Cruise control defective – Range Rover Evoque

The cruise control of my Range Rover Evoque works up to 95 km/h, but not at higher speeds. A mechanic tried to fix the error. He found out that his measuring instrument shows a different speed on each wheel. He asserts that this is not on the measuring instrument. Here is some information: Before the error occurred on the cruiser, the ball bearings on the rear wheels were replaced. If the juggling bearings can be a source of error: How can If the ball bearings have nothing to do with the cruise control, what can be the source of the error? Thank you in advance for all the answers

  • Mg Zr-105

Hello car friends, I did a test drive this morning with an MG ZR-105 and am (with limitations) enthusiastic! The engine makes a great sound with the sports package – incredible! So it is a real pleasure to overtake with +4000upm. So now the question arises to me: How durable are the motors? Is there an above-average failure rate, due to regular speed orgies? Generally, the feed of the small engine did not convince me very much, since the car also The saleswoman said that the car had to be driven in (he had about 3000km on it). Can’t I imagine that something will change then?! Best regards Marc

  • Let’s ask the Rover drivers: What do you think of Roewe?

Hello Rover Forum. The title actually asks the question already. I would be interested in how you would like to stand for a Roewe, as they will soon be available here. How do you find the models? How do you feel about the brand? etc. Here are some links from a thread of mine: Click

  • MG Roadster

Hi, I’m new here. Since I’m just looking around for a new vehicle (have my Golf IV somehow filled up), I happened to come across MG by chance. I’m very excited about the look and the price but there’s something behind it? Would have taken a closer look at the TF and the MGF. As you know about it I would like to ask you a few questions. So in advance, my price limit is 12.00€ for this, so probably only the model years 2001-2005 are possible. – E Are they suitable as first (full year)- or only as second car (doesn’t shoot me for the question )? –> Are they suitable for everyday use? (would buy me a scrap bowl for a very bad ride in winter) – How high is the maintenance cost approximate? – Are there common factory errors/child diseases? – How large are the service intervals? – Which parts have to be changed at which km stand? (e.g. timing belt change) – What is the customer service at Rover? What do you think about this offer (exemplary) and what should be considered?Click

  • Pro/Kontra Rover?

Hello forum, so actually I am the reason type when it comes to cars. And in the end this also (almost) always gets against the “want” to have. But as an auto-enthusiastic person, I also sometimes get rid of the fantasies of cars, where I have been thinking for a long time about whether I should just buy one of these. Currently this is the Rover 75, a vehicle that I didn’t have at all on the screen and which I became aware of because it was recently hi it was mentioned in the purchase advice. I have rummaged a little in the car exchanges, and find that they are, although the offer is very small, for what they offer quite cheap. For 3000 to 600€ are advertised vehicles, which are probably at the level of an E class, but IMHO look far better. The rover is also one of the few cars, where I find that the limousine looks better than the station wagon. In addition, the rover can afford a lot, which is only old for other cars. looks, e.g. the white interior, the dashboard in root wood and the oval instruments, … to the vehicle that fits easily. What about, so far I only know it from pictures from sales advertisements. Does any of you know these vehicles, or why did they get so little used to in the German-speaking area? Is the quality bad, or only the reputation? Repairs unaffordable or impossible? Why are there so few with automatic, even though the IMHO DAS car would be for… Or e I admit that the probability that I will actually buy one is rather low, I know myself well, but in the end reason will get through again, but maybe the one or the other who is also interested, and a lively discussion develops. And who knows, I manage to break it out of the decisions of reason LG, Elwood
