  • Space Star SRS lamp lights – Airbag Error memory cannot be deleted

Hello, with my Space Star 1.8 GDI Built. 2000 the SRS lamp has been lit for a long time. Was already in the workshop and there was an error stored in the airbag control unit, however, it could not be deleted. Had last year due to defective alternator overvoltage and therefore suspect that the STG is defective. Or would it not be possible to read out the error memory if it was defective due to overvoltage? Would you also like to see a circuit diagram from the airbag so that I can also see the Lei MfG edition-driver

  • Lancer IV no longer starts or control unit MD153010 searched

Moin, My car: 2/2.1: 7107 3/2.2: 462 MITSUBISHI LANCER IV (C6_A, C7_A) 1.5 12V (C62A petrol) from 05-1989 to 05-1992 Kilometer: approx. 217.000 Problem: Everything went as always. Shopping, vehicle stands for 45 minutes. After that it no longer starts, First thoughts: 1. Orgelt still, battery still enough juice, 2. crankshaft turns, probably not mechanical (hopefully 3. ignition lines held to mass, no ignition spark on all candles, 4. voltage on the ignition distributor –> Vll. Ignition distributor ? Best Here in the forum: 1. Have many probably had the problem, either ignition distributor or engine control unit, old Mitsubishi dealer told me on the phone, that are the two problems with the Lancer from the years and so slowly make all the ECUs sluggish. 2. MS removed, opened (see pictures), capacitors look quite good, but was obviously already someone before me, especially R102 (misses complete ?) and R 122 don’t look like ex factory. –> So I need a new ECU ? car utilizations called about 20 pieces, Japan parts (Hamburg) called, nobody has a used one. On the net I find the for EUR 200,00 or can send to ECU or approx. EUR 190,00. My question: does someone have a tip, missing the R 102 (purchase and soldering) or should I buy a ECU, does vill. even someone have one on offer? Thank you for attention and if necessary help/tips.

  • Lancer 1.6. New car

Hello in the round, I am looking for a replacement car (second car) for our aged golf. My wife would like the Mitsubishi Lancer quite well. When browsing in Mobile I noticed that many new cars or day registrations are still offered. The vehicles are almost all identically equipped. The prices for a new car seem very attractive to me. Thus we have discovered a black sportback for 13.990,– €. Oh yes, it is supposed to be a sportsback, if possible in be black. Of course, equipment wonders are not. The offered vehicles all have the 1.6. ́ engine with 117 hp and Euro 6. What do you think about these offers? Unfortunately, I have no experience with Japanese cars at all, especially Mitsubishi, in terms of reliability, consumption and workshop costs.

  • Wheels entry what do you have to consider?

Hello I would like to get new wheels for my V20 this summer. Since I already know that my wish rims the Dotz Dakar 8×15 ET -30, no expert report I wanted to ask what I have to pay attention to when registering everything. I had already selected the Toyo Open Country A/T as desired tyres. As tire size is selected 31×10.5R15. (fit already on the Pajero on it anyway) What do I have to pay attention to except that the tires can not stand above it and enough Have space in the wheelhouse?

  • Creeping current

Good day, my Mitsubishi Outlander has been very worried about me for half a year and I couldn’t be helped in various workshops, so this forum is my last hope. First registration was in 2010, I bought it in 2014. I’m very satisfied with it. Now to the problem: last summer it started with the battery having completely discharged after 2 days when the car was standing and I had to bridge it. So to the workshop, new battery in. A few weeks was d All right, until it suddenly started again, one night is enough and the battery is completely discharged. So to the Mitsubishi dealer in the workshop. They took the car 3 hours apart, without knowing exactly what it is. An even more detailed troubleshooting could take days and accordingly cost a lot of money, which I do not necessarily want to plug in, but I can not sell the car with this damage either. The only tip of the workshop: they put a K I should pull a plug/secure in the control box in the engine room (don’t know about it) if I leave the car standing overnight. With a pulled plug, the car starts immediately after several days of standstill. If the plug is pulled, the following things do not work: the clock, interior lighting, central locking, radio/CD player, the display trip a/trip b is set to 0 at each start, these are the things I noticed. Now to my question: has one of you specialists had a clue or a similar problem? So that I can go to the workshop and say, look there and there, maybe that’s it! That’s my last hope. Thank you in advance.

  • Fixed bolts not detachable!!

Hello, I’m busy at the moment removing my license plate holder from the rear of my pajero. Now I have the problem that the two screws are rusted so hard that I can get them off with nothing. Yesterday I put WD-40 on it, nothing. Today with grease grease, nothing. Screwdriver and battery still and still used, nothing. Now the problem is that it’s really emptied out. Do you have any idea how to solve the screws best without breaking the tailgate? b the screws break doesn’t matter, there’s nothing left anyway. P.S. the reason why I take them off? Just looks better. I thank you for your tips.

  • Buy ASX (Peugeot 4008) ?

Hello to each other, actually we wanted to get a nearly 1 year old Peugeot 4008 in the coming days. This is technically based almost 100% on the Mitsubishi ASX. After the initial euphoria has faded away slowly doubts come to me. 1. Short maintenance intervals – The ASX or 4008 must be all 15,000km or at the latest after 1 year for maintenance. A small inspection costs apparently around 200€, a large around 400€ (if you bring your own oil). Is this still up-to-date ? Our Tiguan, for example, only has to be inspected every 30.000km or 2 years thanks to LongLife. It is probably still due to the possible oil dilution of the ASX 150PS diesel!?. 2nd susceptibility to rust. I have already read several times of rust at the exhaust system, underbody with the ASX. I don’t know if this is also the case with the 4008. Is this still a problem? 3. Poor heating performance. The ASX probably doesn’t get really warm. Our Tiguan is pleasantly warm after 30 minutes at -10 degrees. 4. Delayed, slow navigator. The MMCS that is installed in the ASX or 4008 is no longer up-to-date. No TTS, no track assistant, slow,… Mobile phone pairing – Only a few mobile phones are supported. Thus, it is not possible to pair a Nokia 6303 with Mitsubishilink page. 5. If it should be a purchase: I was sitting in a 4008 with panoramic roof. ond the headroom is not exactly the bringer. How much space does the Panormadach require, or how much space do you gain if you have not installed the panoramic roof ? Thanks in advance LG Martin

  • L200 registered as a car?

“SORRY” has landed in the wrong forum ….. Hello, I have a question: Did any of you have registered the Mitsubishi L200 (DOKA, Ez.2008) in the papers as a car? If so, I would be happy about a copy of the vehicle license to become a “voucher” at the TÜV. I bought 9/2012 an L200 2.5 D-ID with cargo compartment cover, DOKA (so two complete rows of seats) to pull mainly horse trailers ….. or caravans or privately stones or building materials, furniture, back and forth to According to STVG, however, this is not allowed on Sundays and during the holiday season (Holiday Travel Ordinance) with a truck (so my L200 is registered in the papers). (There is a general exception for sports and recreational trailers – but this is not uniformly regulated nationwide – according to road traffic office GM for NRW allowed….but to plan again and again the route through which federal states you drive – or not to mention abroad …. ) See a simple way to travel, ….. It would be grateful for any advice or documents!!!! Annoying – although one has nothing to do with the other – that the L200 (although the truck is registered) is taxed as a car….. but that is only the minor evil. If that is not possible, it would be interesting if the car can be run at least tax-wise as a truck – this would not solve my trailer problem – but at least financially completely OK! In advance s chon once thank you for your help!!! Greeting Andi

  • Error Analysis Tips for DG0 86ps Gasoline

Hello,. my Space Star DG0 1999 just went out during the ride. He otherwise always jumped excellently fast. Now he just went out abruptly on the last meters in the step mpo. 2 years ago I had a problem with the immobilizer. Then there was a new key in the workshop around the corner. Unfortunately, there is now no more. Next workshop 30km away (250Euro collection costs). In this way he is economic total damage 🙁 Considerations: At the then Wegf the engine started during starter turning and then fell due to the defective key after exactly 1 sec. This time the engine does not jump in the least. The relay for the petrol pump pulls on when starting and falls after 1 sec after starter turning again. As far as ok. Spark with external spark plug I could not detect. The candle smelled after the expansion slightly after petrol, but was not wet. Ergo would still be there. Pressure too low? Is it possible for the pump to switch off or is it always turning at the start and the engine running? Can it hear the constant rotation when I press the pump relay. Question to the immobilizer experts: If I keep the petrol pump relay pressed after the start, then the immobilizer on this model DG0 is bypassed? Is only a basic information that I need to understand the function. Furthermore, I ask which errors on the electric side interrupt the ignition sparks immediately. d this also lasts until the correcting of errors. I spontaneously only think of something like a crankshaft rotation sensor. Where would the possibly with the DG0? Would there be something else in question? Would like to drive the car still at least until Tüv-Ende 11/2019. I don’t want to invest more than for small parts anymore. The DG0 is a very good car. Had no problems except for the key problem in the 8 years where I drive it. Thank you in advance for competent answers. With best Greetings Joe

  • expensive inspections ASX

Hello, my ASX with the 150 hp diesel last week for the 45,000 km inspection, this week came the bill. I am very scared, because the 45,000km inspection is for me a “small” inspection, therefore I had not expected a gross final amount of 535.99 €. I then compared with the 15,000km inspection and with the 30,000km inspection. The 15,000er cost 331.77 €, working hours 1.7. The 30,000er cost 529.55 €, working hours 3, 4. The 45.000er costs now 535.99€, working hours 3.5. On my surprised demand at my workshop I got the information that in the 45.000km inspection the inspection plan provides “testing and setting of the valve play”, which is true, inspection plan is included. This would, together with the rest of the inspection, be estimated by Mitsubishi with the calculated 3.5 working hours, the invoice is correctly prepared. I have to say that I do not know about any of my cars, which I am not aware of, but I am aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a “small” inspection. I am not aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a “small” inspection, but I am not aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a “small” inspection. I have to say that I am not aware of any of my cars, which I am not aware of. before the ASX, this reduces the economy of this car to a minimum. I am otherwise very excited about the ASX, but considering the economy, the change to another brand is really worth a serious consideration. Too bad.
