  • Sponge disk inside

Hello together, have a problem with my Clio, EZ 08/2017. Had the problem already in the first winter of 2017 and now, it hardly gets really cold, it is the same again. And that, although the car is now just about 1 year old.The problem arises only when the windows are frozen. And that is: I release the windows outside, put myself in the car, start the engine and as soon as the blower starts, the windscreen or the inside mirror attacks. It takes quite a long time for the disc to be reasonably free again. It is completely free again after I have already driven for about 5-10 minutes and the car is really warm. Moisture can not actually be in the car now, so shortly after the summer. Have already tried everything possible with the blower, but nothing helps. During the inspection it was also recent, everything perfect. Does someone have an idea, which could help or if muchleic I don’t really want to put anything in the car, it’s an almost new car.

  • Car doesn’t start.

Moin! I recently bought a Renault Clio 2, 1.2l (BJ 99), has freshly TÜV – all super! After not even 24h after the registration of the car he did not want any more. Fuel arrives, starter turns, KW sensor I already had new, compression he has, ignition system is completely new BUT he does not get a spark (or I am too stupid mass to find). Now the question, does the immobilizer have to do with it or does the plug to the ignition coil have one away? MFG Dennis

  • Brakes down after 50,000 km?

Hello, was just at the second maintenance ( A+B ). They meant my brake discs and linings are down at the front. I have driven 50,000km so far. I drive 70% BAB and also ride very “brake-friendly” (brake a lot with the gearbox). My question: have they been finished with you even after 50,000km? Is a replacement of the brakes also possible with a free workshop, regarding the receipt of the guarantee? Renault wants over 300 Euro. Thanks already and greeting

  • Track rod head defective.

Hello, my girlfriend rides a renault clio and with her the trackbars head has been defective for a long time. does this make it feel like it’s scraping and the rubber cuff is torn. since she only has to go to tuv in september. did I want to ask if she can still drive to september like this without something worse pasting? My question comes because I drive a vw passat where the upper crossbars are defective and the workshop meant that you should not drive there anymore, because it could be that the crossbar move nker through the back and forth so a game can get that he can jump out of the anchor and then the wheel does what it wants. say you then have no control over the steer. now I want to know if it is the same with the track rod head? mfg

  • Clio 1 gets hot

Hi! I’m facing a problem….trying to vent the Clio 1, year 1994 1.2 l and can’t get any further. Engine is completely overhauled. ZKD and everything else too. Car ran 2 weeks, then starter defective and too hot. Suspicion fell obvious to the coolant circuit. The following works were carried out: Thermostat, new, replaced cooler fan tested, runs over bridges to cooler fan switch, new, changed temperature indicator switch, new, replaced fuse cooler fan g echecks cooling system filled up until beam from the fan screw ran, closed, container on max. marking. Run car, goes into the red area, fan does not start. Car runs, probably because of little water, then like a sack of nuts. Cold runs it round. Old thermostat tested, probably was not broken at all…. When I bridge the fan, it runs again. Can it be that I bought a defective new switch? I have no idea where the problem might lie. Has still jema And an idea? Thank you and greetings!

  • Routine timing belt change at the Megan Benzimotor

Hello Renault friends, I have a Megan convertible his 5 1/4 years, but so far I have driven only 10,000 km. Unfortunately the sun did not shine so often or I had to work. Now the Renault service wants to change the timing belt and thinks that he has aged and can tear. This thing costs so around 600,– EUR, because also the water pump and the pulleys should be replaced. Not that I think such a timing belt lasts forever, but that after 5 years it automatically and completely unab It is certainly made of a high-quality material. Is the belt verifiable on cracks or aging phenomena? Does it age at all worth mentioning and if so what? How often does such a belt really tear in practice? I ask for your experience in order to be able to assess the risk better. Many greetings and always good ride! hansi99

  • Megane 2 1.6 16V /Sprite consumption

I have been driving this chic car since November 2002.However, I don’t get under 8litres of fuel consumption at 100 kilometres, no matter how I drive.Indicated is it in the list with 6.8 litres of super. The dealer says he can’t change it,as long as the exhaust gas values are correct-they’re ok.What could it be????????Maybe someone like the average values of consumption are determined-especially at what speed?

  • Performance increase Megane 2 1.4 16V

Hello! I bought a Megane 2 1.4 16V last week. Before I drove a Megane 1 ph2 2.0 ide convertible. The difference in performance is therefore wehement (note the “weh” in the word). The vehicle exchange had two reasons: 1. Family, 2. Newer car The current disadvantage: The new one doesn’t get out of the way at all! I’ve already created a solution with optics and sound (Elia rims, Exhaust Deeptone rear silencer, lowering). . The performance deficit doesn’t leave me any rest. Have I ever made an online search for a fan trouble. However, I find only some from the 1.6 16V. Therefore my question: Do you have a hot tip? Or maybe another solution to increase the performance for the 1.4 16V (except “other engine” or so`n shit like “Chiptuning” would be very connected to you! Greatings MEM “The advantage of wisdom is that you can face stupidly. The opposite is already more difficult.”

  • Purchase aid – Renault Mégane dCI Kombi (2.5 years, 100,000km)

Hello esteemed forum, I have an eye on a Renault Mégane 1.5 dCi Expression with 63kw, first registration 06/2007, according to dealer a former leasing vehicle from France. Good (standard) equipment, the care was unfortunately very neglected (interior very dirty, also some dirt in the engine room… there to see only very little oil) for all maintenance carried out… and in two years almost 110,000km. Short test drive was pleasant, very good acceleration The price is quite good, 6500 euros with new TÜV & AU and some smaller repairs, but gives me the high driving performance already to think (also with regard to the previous breakdown statistics of the Méganes of this series). Therefore my question to the forum: How does this offer sound to you? I am grateful for all the tips and hints … Thank you and greetings, Philipp
