At a cross-brand car exhibition in Filderstadt today, I gained the impression by comparison that the Clio 5 and the new capture now surpass the earlier benchmark VW in the quality look in the interior (outside the premium manufacturers). In Golf 8 only the upper armature carrier is foamed softly, in the T-Roc and T-Cross only hard plastic is installed. That makes Renault better now!

Capture Media Nav Evolution – Questions
Hello, in a few weeks we will get our new capture with Media Nav Evolution II. I have read myself quite well. An important question remains unanswered for me. How does the navigator get the traffic information? And how does it show it then? I am currently using my iPhone and a cool navigation software. There the traffic information and replacement routes are offered. Here this works logically online via GSM. Since the Media Nav gets the maps always via USB as update I ask myself how the described denture information and evasive routes come into the system? About VHW/DAB?? Hmm, that’s an important question for me, otherwise I will use CarPlay and buy an add-on for the HandyNav… whereby I can not yet assess whether this is the better solution. Thanks for information!! Greeting…

Renault R19 1.9 TD
Hello, I’m new here. I recently bought a Renault R19 1.9 dT RT Bj. 95. Actually a very nice car, unfortunately the car has already driven 180,000 km. The workshop told me to renew the following parts: timing belts, clutch complete, brake pads + discs and for safety the head seal at such a high mileage. Can someone tell me where I get good spare parts for the vehicle, respectively which company produces good spare parts and also sold at a fair price. Wouldn’t want to install cheap parts in car and few KM later everything is broken. Thanks.

I discovered the MODUS (1,6), but was advised not to buy Renaults (except the Twingo). What do you think of the MODUS? From which year of construction it is recommended? What are typical diseases and what should I pay attention to? Would I look forward to any answer. Should you know good alternatives to the MODUS, also welcome! Only too big the car should not be 🙂 Greeting, Carhero

today’s Clio at the price as it was 20 years ago
Hello, I saw a commercial in the TV show. It says: Today’s Clio at the price as 20 years ago. And in the end a price of just over 9,500 euros can be seen briefly. It is also the current Clio, not the campus. I was not yet at the friendly Renault dealer, only looked on the Internet. And that’s exactly where my problem is, I didn’t find anything anywhere. Who has more information, or a link? Thanks already.

Clio III blower/air conditioning stinks
Hello dear Motor-Talk Community, I hope you can help me, I am already in despair I have a Clio III year 2005 and have a problem with the ventilation. The problem is only since spring this year. If I drive my car for a time and then turn off, and then for example half an hour later start the engine again and start driving, then the ventilation starts for a short time ( 2 – 3 minutes ) pretty much to smell, so I have to open the windows because of the smell. However, after a few minutes the spook is over and it no longer stinks. It is both when the air conditioning is on and when it is off. I hope you can help me please, maybe someone has already had a similar problem. Thank you and many greetings! Florian

Clio III/Problems with the windscreen wipers
With our Clio III (EZ 07/10, KM-Stand currently 4,000) there are again problems with the windshield wipers. Shortly after the handover I noticed that the wipers caused noises and have already drawn shrieks. Since this is also a considerable safety risk, I immediately claimed that. The dealer also showed himself very kulant and has mounted new wiper blades free of charge. In the short term the wiper result was also satisfactory. After now 4 weeks there are already clear shrieks to see. Above all the upward movement of the wiper leads to streak formation. The volume has become better but it can not be that the wiper is shed so quickly. I always take care that the in the summer by no means about insect remains, which are on the windshield but waits for a time before I turn on the wipers, so that the disk is also properly wet. Have I handled so so far with all my vehicles and had during the last years with various vehicles, which were already equipped with the current Aero-Wish ones?
