Since I am certainly not the only one whose radio cover, i.e. the middle flap over the glove compartment bulges upwards, I wanted to ask if and how sufferers have solved the problem. My friend has removed it with his method -completely and glue in- unfortunately only smeared up. I glued back with Pattex, it is now better, but everything is far from satisfactory. At the edges it is still arched and without fumbling on the upper edge the Abd Now I could get to a used but not curved flap relatively cheaply. Does someone know how to change it and how to prevent the “new” flap from arching again? My friend once said that you could try to completely lower the surface, scrape the foam under it and put it all back on it… Someone’s idea? I love the car, but this cover still brings me to the grave…

3.0 Diesel Start Problem (“Lauwarmstart”)
Hello and say hello to God in the forum! After 6 years of Renault Abstinenz I bought myself an Espace with the 3.0 diesel engine (Bj. 2003, 180000 km). It’s really great but: Sometimes, I observe, mostly when the engine is “handwarm”, it doesn’t start at all or only after a lot of organs. Then the first km (so 10 to 15) are only very emotional to travel, if you give too much gas he pushes, as if he would get too little fuel. This settles after some time and everything is all the more A “emergency program” is not displayed in the display. Warm-speed it starts well and cold as well. Does anyone know where I could start looking? As a layman I would suspect a “hanging” cold starter, or a non-opening fuel shut-off valve. The “rubberball” at the front right in the motror room can be pumped to a resistance when the engine is standing, after the start attempt or while no resistance is felt. So far I have tried the following: Before 3 T once added an “injector cleaner” and added 2 clock motor oil. Deficiencies in Espace JK
I bought an Espace JK 2,0 Turbo (leasing back runner) BJ 11/02 a year ago. The car was not quite 4 years old, had 52000 km on the beautiful digital display, a brand new engine (900 km) and new brakes. I thought nothing could happen. FALSE! The following defects occurred on 10000 km: 1. immobilizer defective……………………… Costs incl. towing approx. 800 € 2. display defective. ………. ……….costs approx. 750 € …..Renault reimburses 300 € to Kulanz 3. Keycard defective…………………………….cost 180 € ………….was determined 4. Card reader defective……….costs would be approx.200 €, will not be exchanged, since the box still starts 5. Tray joint on the front axle over ………cost approx.100 € 6. Oil pipe to turbo leaks……….cost approx.250 €, warranty rejected despite the 11 months ago built engines with only 10000 ……………………………………………km mileage, Renault offers 100 € refund on culant, who has similar problems with Renault, respectively Espace? How is Renault i.S. culant/guarantee performance? When the box is running it is really fun and is super comfortable, nevertheless I think about a sale. Greetings from the Allgäu Claus

Renault Scenic – Engine control light – Control chain? Need help!
Dear community. Since my mechanic is in the dark, I put my problem into the forum. Car: Renault Grande Scenic 3, 1.4 Tce, 132 tkm, Bj 2009 About 8 weeks ago the “elderly” started. After the start the engine control light lit up longer than usual. The engine no longer took on gas. (Gaspedal pressed through, nothing happened) This only for a short time, then he drove, light went out. The free workshop first changed all 4 spark plugs. Two weeks later (the said problem tr In the second attempt, it works. Read out in the workshop. Misigned ignition at ignition coil 3+4. So all candles changed again and the two ignition coils joined. 2 days later, the problem reappears (light light lights up longer, short jerking, but then picks up gas). Go into the workshop and read out. Again, something with ignition coil. Mechanic suspects that what is on the steering chain (a rattle I hear a rattle) It’s not really necessary to change the chain. To see what is, you have to disassemble almost the whole engine. The mechanic advises me to buy another car. He thinks the problems (after the control chain) would accumulate with this model with this engine. A groschengrab so to speak. My question: Is the problem really the control chain? Grand Scenic Cruise 2
Hi Forengemeinde, recently I purchased a Grand Scénic 2 2.0 (Bj. 2006), unfortunately without cruise control (for trailer operation and longer routes quite useful). Now the wildest conversion instructions are circulating in the net and I am currently exploring whether the conversion is done by means of A: original parts or B: Semi original. Price-wise, I don’t care if I have to drive around for my construction site, I need this function for convenience (and the car itself was very cheap). I also have the following question (for VAG vehicles I know my job very well, for Renault unfortunately not at all), the cruise control unit has to be registered, i.e. a coding after installation of the parts is necessary? The Renault dealer in my vicinity was not very open to my idea, as long as I don’t buy the parts from him … With the VCDS I unfortunately don’t get far from Renault. I read in a conversion instruction, a coding is not necessary, except ßer one would like to have the display in the control panel insert, however this instruction referred to a significantly older vehicle of the first 2 series.

Tank indicator spins around and fuel reserve lamp does not glow
Hello together. As already described in the title I have problems with my tank display. I stayed completely surprising last week. It has not lit a lamp and the tank needle hung roughly 1-2mm under the first white line. I then filled 10L from a canister and then filled the rest. (50 liters) The tank is indicated as full. However, now I drove about 400km and the tank needle still shows me a full tank. At the Anla food lights up the fuel lamp quite normally and then goes out again. What can be the reason for this? Renewed winter tires–I’ll do the test!
Hello! My girlfriend and I both own a Kangoo (so each one). Hers is a 1999 1.2L gasoline and mine a 1998 1.9 Diesel. Now I need winter tyres this year and have looked around in the internet. Since of course I noticed the price advantage of retreaded tyres and I except for regular table facts like e.g. “there is always the tread” or “the tires are the only connection to the road with an area of not even four DIN A4 sides. That’s not to save,” I plan to take the self-test this winter. My friend’s Kangoo has high-quality winter tires from Goodyear, which we bought a year ago and still have a good 6.5mm profile all around. I’m going to get re-newed Arctic tyres with Conti profile (always cheap at ebay). They cost just about 30,-EUR per piece incl. postage, while last year we had paid for Goodyear 91,-EUR at a tyre dealer here on site (both price If there is interest, I can describe my experiences here at intervals, because we also have to change the cars (…if we have parked each other again). I will drive with it daily to work (about 35km easy way with 1/3 BAB) and all private tours here in the south of Bremen (so unfortunately more mud than real snow, but you should not give up hope) Next week I will have the tires mounted and then you on the run. “Foundation BüntiTest” P.S.: what do you think of my self-test?

Kangoo Qualmte & starts now not more
hello , yesterday after highway ride (half hour) the Kangoo smoked at the first start(at the traffic lights) huge (output) and lost power , then drove back normally to the next stop and that repeated itself so 6 times to the parking lot , today he does not jump any more at all , oil level is ok , no leaks , diesel is inside the diagnosis of the Avd man : it could be a glowing candle broken , error code P0409 , since the Avd-mann nix could start with the code hab i ch made me smart 😉 , Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A-Fehlfunktion Stromkreis would be my question : if the AGR valve is defective then the car does not start ? only about this is my first and not whether the glow plugs or diesel filters etc. and the glow plugs can be checked as a loan with voltmeter out through ? Kangoo Mk.1 Diesel: which engine?
Hi guys. I’d like to buy a Kangoo first generation, and it’s supposed to be a diesel. Now the question is, which engine should I take? As far as I know, it comes with the following engines: 1) 1.5 common rail 2) 1.9 direct injection 3) 1.9 suction diesel from Citroen there’s the Berlingo with 1) 1.6 direct injection 2) 2.0 direct injection Now I’d like to know: Which engine is the most durable, and which engine consumes less? I drive mainly in the city and a little bit more berland, highway rather rarely. And I drive rather comfortably, at lower speeds. But that’s why I would like it if the engine also pulls well in the lower speed range. Are there turbodiesel engines, which pull only from 2500rpm, and which ones that go off earlier. Which would you recommend? Actually, I mean not only the Kangoo models, but also Berlingo. Is the same after all. Thanks already in advance.
