During the weekend we had the opportunity to drive an A4 Avant 1.8tFSI multitronic, 160 hp, model attraction (150 km). With a short comparison with our 9-3 SC 1.8t, 195 hp, automatic, model vector. Compared to the Saab 9-3 SC, the Audi looks more bieder from the outside. 1. Fabric seats, adjustable by hand height. You sit well on the tight furniture, but lower than in the Saab 9-3, even at a perfectly adjusted height. The leg clearance for the passenger, especially for the left side 2. The engine runs smoothly, especially in idling, while accelerating from low tours, but not uncomfortable. Acceleration is good. 3. The car is more crowded on the road than the 9-3. At higher speeds, you have less feeling of high speed. The outside noise is slightly more noticeable than in the 9-3. 4. You drove on 16 inch Pirelli tires, marked winter. 5. The qualitative impression was much better than in the Saab, especially the subliminal polarity of the 9-3 was not present, although the car, as well as the Saab, reacted significantly to unevenness of the road by jumping and bumping. 6. The inner mirror is lower and therefore more disturbing than in the 9-3. 7. The effort of steering was, especially when starting, higher than in the 9-3, probably depending on speed. 8. The absence of free movement runs as in the 9-3 was immediately noticeable, one had to operate the accelerator more strongly generally.

No SAAB in Ukraine/Kiev
Servus, I just came back from a short trip in Ukraine/ Kiev. Since all the cars in the world drive but I did not see a single Saab in the 4days ! Who keeps on driving SUV, the bigger the better. Hummer ,Toyota, Porsche,Mercedes. Limos must be black ! But also only Benz,Lexus, not even Audi,BMW. Who gets excited about the traffic in D should drive sometimes in Kiev , the purest chaos . Joke: Why steals the Russian 2 cars ? Because he must on the return trip through Poland . Mei a experience shows in PL and Ukraine are our SAAB s sure that no one wants! Have no idea of cars? Nice weekend yet, Saabheinz

Question about the range of the ZV remote control
Servus Leuts, now in the early-yet-dark and afternoon-yet-yet-dark time I find the “Find-the-car-touch-light-turning” function of the remote control already practical, e.g. in a large parking lot. However, the range is lousy; If I can only search the car, if I am practically already standing in front of it, it is little helpful. I can reach a maximum range of approx. 8-10 meters due to herumprobation. Is that normal, or does it go on with you?? So long

Rental workshop specifically for SAAB screwdrivers???
Is a rental workshop interesting for Saab drivers?? After a few years of helping here in the forum with tips and tricks, an idea came to me that doesn’t get out of my mind anymore. There are plenty of Saab drivers who like to screw on their car themselves. Whether from financial needs or from hobby, or because they don’t trust their Saab workshops… there’s enough reason for this. My idea would be to found a rental workshop. I offer some workshop places where Saab drivers themselves can use it. In order to be able to screw Saab ́s, at a certain rental price of the place and the tool, and at the same time can stand by with advice and action. Complicated works, which you do not trust yourself, I would then carry out as a car master. Of course against payment, but cheaper than any Saab contract workshop. Of course, only older vehicles of the series 99/90, 900, 900-II/93-I, 9000, 9-5, 93-II… after expiry of any warranty and warranty. ebe has become very bad in recent years and a number of contract workshops have filed for insolvency. They were not flexible enough, could not adapt to the changed situation. These workshops are now empty and are looking for buyers or tenants. I have looked at some offers here in my area, and there were 2-3 workshops that would agree to me. A booth would be the ideal “one-man-company”, but old. Other halls are too large for me alone, too expensive. o I am looking for business ideas to use these workshops as well. Workshop with 5 stages, of which 3 are for rent, 2 stages for a regular workshop operation. Rental to all brand drivers. Repairs and services of a normal free workshop. And the candy for SAAB drivers… my 30 years experience with the brand. My question to you! WHO is already going from you to a rental workshop and screws itself? HOW are your experiences? Will you be helped or must you yourself at Prob Would you like to visit a special rental workshop for SAAB?…with professional help and guidance from me? For example, install a gas system under guidance yourself?…or exchange the windshield yourself? For such work it is also worth further ways to get there… Is there a need?…or should I bury my idea right away?

SAAB Konvoy on 17.01. in Rüsselsheim
Hello Together, as some of you have surely read on Saabsunited, on Sunday all over the world Saab Support Konvoys take place! Only here somehow nothing happens. That’s why a few members from the parallel forum Saab-cars (I don’t think I can give the link here, or? ;-)) think about organizing a spontaneous meeting on Sunday in Rüsselsheim! Maybe one or the other feels addressed and would like to participate as well. Sunday 5 to 12 in Rüsselsheim in the parking lot of Adam Opel GmbH in Friedrich Lutzmann ring.

Saab produces again
Hello, Saab has resumed production after a one-day interruption. According to J-A. Jonsson, there are 7-8 serious buyers, but it is to be expected that the target deadline of 3 months will not be enough to restructure. until then….

Change from Volvo drivers to SAAB
Moin Together, although the news is still fresh and no one can see how SAAB will develop in the coming months, I ask myself the question about the chances of inspiring current Volvo drivers for SAAB. I think there are a few good reasons for this. Sales of Volvo to the Cinesian car manufacturer Geely do not really taste like many Volvo drivers. Does this increase the chances of SAAB in the European and especially Swedish market? I think so. Do you know that? AD 900

Toderraser von Karlsruhe, film in the MDR
@All had just seen in the MDR a (perhaps for some already known?) documentary about the DB test driver, who was finally sentenced to one year on probation as Karlsruhe’s “Death Raser”. Was really quite interesting, in particular that our justice here clearly had to condemn someone ‘must’ in order to calm down the highly-cooked people’s soul, no matter what the factual evidence is. In my opinion, one could just as well or badly condemn the driving teacher of the woman. I hope and hope that we will not be involved either actively, passively, directly or indirectly in such events. to be dependent on how it should be, has shown itself shamefully dependent on the dull people’s soul a la Bildzeitung? Exchange set of deer 18″ rims against set of deer 17″ rims
Hello, I urgently need a set of deer 17″ rims for my winter tires. Another rim doesn’t fit over my brake, and on 18″ winter tires I don’t really like. Months-long look-out was resultless. So, which 17″ deer rim owner has always loved to upgrade to 18″ inches? What the set of rims looks like, you can see here! In a certain radius around Saarbrücken, Frankfurt and Koblenz I would also come by to exchange personally during Greetings, Philip
