  • Renault Clio IV rear parking aid defective?

    Huhu ?? I’ve had the new Clio IV since Thursday. There’s a parking aid in the back, which also worked in the car dealership (set the tone on reverse gear, etc.) So when I drove today and inserted the reverse gear, there was no sound, not even with an obstacle. So no sound at all. There’s also no message in the BC. Since I don’t have a switch for the parking aid, it can’t be disabled either. What could that be? Will call in the car dealership tomorrow, l Is yes under the guarantee ??

  • Clio 4 TCE 90 engine damage – What to do?

    Recently my Clio has remained on the highway, diagnosis engine damage (control chain has solved itself and done some damage to cylinders etc.). To the car itself, Clio IV TCe90, 02/2013, 135t km run, bought it in August 21 from 1st hand for 6400€, very good condition and up to then (100t KM) checkbook maintained. A overhauled engine etc makes no economic sense, there is nothing less than 4000€. So only a used engine with possible prices are probably around 2000€ for the engine plus approx. 1000€ for the installation, according to my workshop. Only the problem here seems to be the availability of the engines. The workshop of my trust looks already about 2 weeks and so far nothing has come out of it. Many engines from abroad which categorically excludes my workshop. Here and there is an engine available but then they have already run 60-100t KM. Here is then eb In the private market I have not yet looked around, at least I had an offer of 3000€ including collection directly from the farm. So as far as the starting situation is concerned! At first I naturally tended to the first one, because I know at least exactly how it is with my car etc, so you don’t almost buy the cat in the bag. In addition, I will probably have to take about €7-8t in my hand to get another car that is at least comparable to mine on paper. However, I finally got into the pondering, an engine with 65t kilometers is also not so young anymore. I know myself with cars and repairs etc little, but only knows that I have had rather bad luck so far. So it happens to me at least when I see some 20 years old car on the road while my dead is standing around…… Long speech, ku Rzer Sinn, what are your recommendations? Is a used engine worth it? Or is that nonsense with these details? Especially with the background that I need a car. Currently I have one of the workshop but this is a small smart in minimum equipment, so nothing permanent. In other words, months wait until maybe an engine appears online that satisfies my workshop, I don’t have either.

Are there any elementary problems with the little one ? Is the 1.2 with 75hp enough for the short distance hopping or should it be a K4M ?   • Axle carriers rusted through

    Hello, I ask for your help. My Clio 3, BJ 2007, 75 hp with 70,000 km no more pickerl. Main problem according to the workshop: Achräger (front carrier) rusted through. Oral offer for repair was almost 1000 euros, with repair lateral handlebar bearings right (cracked out), repair brake line back (rusted) and exchange brake fluid. Workshop says, this is so expensive because it gives the axle carrier only original from Renault and is the piggy expensive. Unfortunately I don’t get a written KVA. I did a little research now, with the name front carrier I find nothing. Now I put myself in the front of the car and took photos. Can you please tell me which part this is?   • Clio 2 sometimes doesn’t start

    Hello everyone, I have another current problem with my Clio 2 1.2 16 V 75 hp. Year of construction should be 2002. It started when he started the third time. Error read out, OT dealer exchanged. Then he ran clean. A month ago my mother wanted to leave but he didn’t start (trying with both keys). Starter spins, but doesn’t want to start. So ADAC called, he measured the front (unfortunately not seeing everything because I had to start). The car started then. and he ADAC employee said the main relay + ignition coil would have something. I then had exchanged. Couple of days later, again start problems, but he went on. So to the workshop error read out nothing found. Now a few days in the evening the same game, does not start again. Acquaintances called (a workshop) wants to look at this the next day. I thought, try it again the next day and Zack jumps immediately. Do you have any tips? Thank you.

  • Trouble with central locking Clio 2 Phase 2

    My problem is the ZV in my Clio 2, with a 1.2 l 16V engine and 55kw. Sometimes I have to press around on the key a dozen times before the Clio opens, I take the spare key immediately, but sometimes also after the xth attempt. Then for days again everything works perfectly, then it works immediately. I was already with Renault but… The master there told me that he had to go there once again. f Troubleshooting could take 1 hour or even much more (pay per hour 82,60), it could be a small mistake that doesn’t cost much, but also something really expensive. He recommends me a new engine control unit, as well as a new ignition lock with 2 new keys, cost incl. working hours 834,78€ Is there perhaps another alternative? My Clio is almost 18 years old, I bought the 5 years ago cheaply and only last month without defects about the TÜV cht. Mürd me over help happy greeting Mike

  • Clio3 1.2 16v at once no longer starts

    Hello, I have a problem with my Clio 3 1.2 16V ( 140tkm ) Bj 2008, it was turned off quite normal and worked until then always super 4 days later it did not jump any more. It was already checked in a workshop and said. Fuel comes compression everywhere enough spark plugs work car read out and no error message, but……MKL ( wrench ) is because an error in an airbag I also checked everything and had the glei could it also be due to the immobilizer ? and how can one test something like this ? car turns normally jumps but not have been checked at sensors or whether the timing belt has skipped etc. Now I wanted to check/exchange the crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor ect but find the camshaft sensor not (or does not have one ? ) Maybe someone knows advice or had the same problem sometimes.   • 1.2 with 55 kw: vehicle is not picking up any more gas at the moment

    Moinsen, the car makes me despair. The following situation: Irregularly the vehicle no longer accepts gas, jerks and as soon as you take your foot off the gas and latch on it again everything is normal again. What I tried so far: New spark plugs, the old looked ok for me. Coolant sensor replaced sensor for suction tube pressure replaced air filter renewed camshaft sensor already before replaced ignition coil 2 years ago (not sure if the ignition cables there also getausc The error memory is empty, yesterday the test drive showed P0130 for a short time, but did not occur again. Do you have any ideas what else it might be?
