Clio 3, change brake pads at the front.
Hi together, I’m new here and confessing screwdriver. So far only on my motorcycle but what I can do on the bike also goes on the car. In this case a Clio 3 dynamique. The brake pads at the front have now almost 30,000 down and are overdue. Of course, the service booklet does not specify what the pads are called and also not how to change them. As I said with the car I have not done this yet, already with the bike. I did not find a search function here in the forum, therefore this thread. Gi bt ́s here somewhere a “Do it yourself”? Do you have recommendations about good manufacturers? I have aluminium rims on it and it would be nice if I could buy brake pads that would not produce such a stubborn abrasion. Hello! I had my renault clio 96Bj checked last week!!! Brake effect LiVo 1,9 ReVo 1.6 that’s ok, but —————— LiHI 0,4 ReHi 1,3 handbrake: LiHI 0,9 ReHi 1,1 brake lines are partly new, half a year back two new brake cylinders (were leaking!) brake pads not only cleaned! is also not necessary, right??? like this,my try: first fan 🙂 no air, no line laid! have brought me a new wheel brake cylinder and installed, then the main brake cylinder removed and disassembled! looks like new, all seals ok. but no difference to before The clio also has no schnik snap like an extra brake power distributor or something!! Hello, I am actually from the VW Golf Forum and drive a Golf 7 Variant. Currently I am looking for a used one for my girlfriend, who is now moving to me. Renault Clio II Quit front left
Hello people I hope you can help me. I have a problem with my Clio again and am with my Latin at the end now. The car had just knocked out a track setting and carrying frame left. He had clapped on the road in unevenness which came from the front of the steering and also squealed / creaking ! The mechanic then said that the carrying frame had been knocked out. It was renewed and the track was also set. This was 1 1/2 weeks ago. Since yesterday zw a day is the annoying noise again. It knarrs at the front left when I hit to the right. I hear this noise in the car and also outside on the front wheel. I have now seen if we may have lost the screws from the support frame but that’s not so. Track rods and support frame are OK. Brakes were made before short front also and squeak since also braking. But that’s not the problem. Can you tell me where the loud creaking comes from the steering? Thank you very much.
