  • Renault Clio 2 1.2 16V oil in air filter and emergency run

    Hey guys, I already asked a question about oil in the plug from the throttle valve Poti and the resulting emergency run a few months ago. Now it is that after less than 5,000 km the engine has gone back into the emergency run. So disassembled and see again everything full of oil. So I cleaned it and error is gone first.   • Should I keep my Clio II 1.2?

    Hey you, quite strange entry but I need some help. And I bought a Clio II 1.2 from 1999 in September. I’m also very satisfied. Now I have to get new TÜV made soon and I’m looking back and forth to see if I should have the car repaired or not. The following should be done: My brakes, which is not particularly wild, because wear part and something like that was to be seen. The same is true for my wheel bearing at the front left. I already have a new wheel Abe ordered and could also have it installed. Also, the car has a lot of little pains. From time to time the airbag light flashes, the old-known problem with the passenger seat. Once sits adjusted, the lamp goes off again. My battery should also be replaced. The two bigger problems are the following: My car always loses a little bit of oil. Never much and never so that I drive at least or like that, but it is not normal. When I was in the workshop, said m I think I’ve been having problems with the immobilizer for about a week. I’ve read in the internet and seen that this can often be the key. When I start the car, it often only works on the 2nd or 3rd time. The lamp for the WFS then also glows like crazy. Now that I’ve read on the internet that a new key will fix the problem.   • Weak blower normal at the Clio?

    Hello together, would be great if you could help me with a short question. Is it normal that the blower is so weak at Clio 2? On level 4 you can hear the radial fan running under the windshield and also clear air noises but from the nozzles comes only a lukewarm ventilation! The blower stages all work, the vehicle has climate. Is this normal? At the front of the windshield I have already dismantled the covering and felt with the hand if something i n the intake opening is in place, but the radial fan is not added. Greetings

    Hello, I have a clio 1 bj 96 1,2. Yesterday I drove a distance of about 100 km and when I stopped at mc donalds I heard once such a rattling noise and the engine ran unround i.e. ruttled like sow. When I then turned it off and again I had the feeling that the engine didn’t want to start. When I drove home he did not take as good gas anymore and I had difficulty driving on.I pressed fully during the 2nd course but it didn’t happen much. r motor ruggles like die sow. I thought it was the belt but the noise comes more from the engine block.. What could that be??

    Hello Now have received a motor with 100tkm less than mine,,, since now 100 % my head gasket is through, what now confirms also the really heavy mud in the oil cover… how is it removed??????Does one have to let it down or does it go up?????would now be the best for me…and if the same kw and space can remain the control unit???????

    Moinsen, my wife’s Clio is breaking my head. Even after some orgling, the candles are dust-dry. But the fuel pump buzzes at the hatch 3. The encoder from the OT was fixed and not loose, I treated the plugs with WD40. How long must the nipple be at the front of the encoder? it is still about 2mm on it.   • Renault Clio: Remote control/plip no longer works

    Hello, I have the following problem at the moment: My remote control for my Renault Clio II (year of construction: 1998, 75hp, 1.4L cylinder capacity) doesn’t work anymore. I tried it with a new battery, but it worked two times and then it didn’t work again. Now to my question: Can you fix the remote control again (it went back for a short time)?
