Hi, everybody, I had my timing belt with coolant pump replaced in a free workshop last year. I went back one day later because the belts made sounds like a screaming cat and I wanted to be safe. When I drove from the yard, the vibrating noises started. You can also consciously cause them. If the threshing number is at about 1700 and you give gas. As soon as you walk off the gas, nothing can be heard. who works on many different cars, listened to it and even though he could hear it and had already had a suspicion, unfortunately he did not confirm himself and now I have been driving around for over a year. I am of course also with the complaint back in the workshop, as I noticed it, however, then they presented me a KVA with almost 500 euros for some other and then I had these things repaired gradually (of course for clearly who My friend has already checked the engine suspension, as well as the parts on which the mechatronicians were at the service. I think it won’t be due to the oil change. Maybe something on the pure air filter? I also had it changed right away. I thank you for your tips.

Renault part number battery searched wg. technical data original battery
Moin together, I have to replace the battery on my Clio, because I had bought it used but no original battery was installed anymore. I also suspect that the previous owner has installed a wrongly dimensioned battery. Therefore I wanted to ask if someone could tell me the Renault part number for an original battery. It is a Clio 1.2 16V (CB0W) from 2003. At the dealer I was already, as I had to find out afterwards however, who gave me the number for a Twingo. Alternatively, of course, if someone knew the original battery capacity for the model CB0W. thx@all Mario

Renault Clio II 1.4 16v no compression
Hello together, My clio, which I have only had for about 2 months, showed the following problem abruptly last week: How if you had flipped a switch, it ran at once very tumbling and had no more full power. We tested the candles, the ignition coils of each cylinder, All sensors and the compression. At this we finally got stuck, cylinder 3 didn’t show up any more. So started to disassemble, under the valve cover was nothing really to be found I’m glad that I’m not driving a lot, I think the wear spot is limited. I think… Would it possibly do new piston rings? I’m glad about every hint. I’m very happy that I’m not going to be able to do this, but I’m glad that I’m not going to be able to do it. I’m glad that I’m not going to be able to do it. I’m glad that I’m not going to be able to do it. Greetings Eddy

Kaufberatung Captur: Which gasoline engine, which vehicle equipment is the right one for us?
Hello to everyone. A new car should come from 🙂 (show car or new car) One of the interested is the captur in white, with black rims. But which engine would you recommend…… ? because the car is driven only 10 000 KM per year, we ask ourselves….. which gasoline would be the best for this? Bzw which gasoline engine can be recommended, because of its consumption and its driving performance ? What should we pay attention to? Are there still childhood diseases at the captur? what I do not understand k ann that there is no way to order a height-adjustable passenger seat for the Captur…… Renault says ; not feasible Are there extras you would recommend? Are there extras you would advise against ? and last question: How much discount/ discount did you get from the Kufpreis ? Looking forward to your opinions Jerry

Clio 4: Starter defective – experience with repair shop
Hello, here are the basic data: Clio IV dCi 90 Start-Stop; EZ: 09/2013; Annual runtime: 40 tkm Facts: After only 2.5 years the starter was broken. The vehicle was repaired by a contract workshop with the following procedure: 1. Read out error memory 2. Measure the starter circuit 3. Check control times (to unlock timing belts) 4. Exchange starter In particular, point 3 was very time-consuming and therefore cost-intensive. The procedure and cost rates are probably plausible. Two things that have bothered me very much: – After only 2.5 years the starter gives up the spirit. I expect a different quality of this component with a start-stop automatic. – The workshop costs are outrageously high. The exchange of such a wear part must not cause such costs in my opinion. I wrote a complaint letter to Renault Deutschland and bi Now I would be interested in what experiences you have had. I look forward to your comments. Greetings!

Oil change at Renault Clio
Hi guys! I’m new here and I have an important question: I wanted to do the oil change myself yesterday ( Renault Clio), but unfortunately failed because I don’t have a 4-kant key to solve the oil drain screw. I then read in another forum that the oil drain screw can be opened or screwed up with a door handle if necessary – unfortunately without success. The door handle was then extremely bent and no longer needed. I was already at Forstinger, H ornbach, Maumax, Automax etc but nowhere is there such a 4-Kant-key to buy. Where can you buy such a part please??? And what exactly does this look like at all? gg Or are there other alternatives like opening the drain screw? Thanks in advance

Windscreen wiper at the Renault Clio
With the Renault Clio it is the case that the windscreen wiper on the driver’s side is significantly longer than the one on the passenger’s side. Somehow I also have the impression that the windscreen wiper is fixed quite differently than conventional windscreen wiper, or do I see this wrong? If you want to buy new windscreen wiper for the Clio, it is nevertheless possible to install any cheap models, or is one on the purchase of original and thus relatively expensive Renault windscreen wiper Greetings, Roland

Xenon retrofitting at Clio 4, Captur and Megane
Hello, there is an offer on the Dutch Renault page to have Xenon retrofitted for the above-mentioned models – cost point instead of 1200 Euro only 499 Euro including installation:http://www.renault.nl/…/ I have a workshop appointment tomorrow at my dealer (backlights in Clio 4 fogged inside, doors start squeaking constantly, problem with the 3rd gear at the EDC) and will immediately ask if there will be such a thing in Germany. So I would buy it immediately! P. S The German customer hotline has never heard of it – at least this would be a reasonable upgrade.

Clio II 1.2 sometimes only starts with the x-th attempt
Moin people, my winter car, a 1998 Clio 1.2, has been a bit of a pain for me for some time… Usually everything works great, but every tenth time it doesn’t start. Then I have to turn the key around again and again, and at some point it starts off perfectly. In the last two weeks everything went perfectly again without exception, but today nothing went on. I sat in the car for over 30 minutes and turned the key around continuously and tried to start it. Irg At the end of the day it went again, and without problems! So it can not be due to the battery, nor to the starter. I think it is because of the wiring. Did someone have that before? Thanks to everyone!

Air conditioning whistles in the interior / hardly any cooling capacity
Hello everybody, my Clio 4 BJ 2013 has been whistling since today as soon as you switch it on. The whistle comes from the front of the amature board. Also, the cooling power is almost no longer available. My research has shown that there can be either too little coolant in the circulation, or a defective expansion valve, which apparently is somewhere in the front of the dashboard. It may be that with a nearly 3 1/2 year old vehicle the coolant already sowe it evaporated that the plant from one day to the next the service quittier? If it could be rather on the expansion valve: Does anyone know how to penetrate to this? Would it like to check it out in sight. Would be great if someone had had had similar experiences here and knew advice. Thank you!
