Hey people (I hope I’m not embarrassed with the question) I have a car purchase and there is a small problem: I have absolutely no idea about the matter. I’ve been looking for a car almost every day for the last 3 months and find the Renault Clio IV very great. It’s going to be my first own car, but I’ve already gained some driving experience, because I’m still working in the rescue service. I start an apprenticeship as an insurance clerk on the 1.8th. Ieb is 6km away and my vocational school 100km, which I have to attend 2 times a week. The 20,000km of vocational school in the year is calculated. I have about 13.000€ available. There is no need to be a teurer. Of course I have already asked many people what they think of the Renault Clio 90TCe. Many have said that it is a good car, but there were also some who thought I should leave the fingers of Renault and also the car. Now I have a Clio with a dealer. This is almost 4,000 euro cheaper than the Renault dealer on site. That would be an EU vehicle, but the dealer said that it would be identical to the German Clio. Are there disadvantages of EU vehicles? I invite you in a picture of the dealer’s offer. Thanks already for the answers, dear greetings.

Waiting for Clio V? (it only looks like a facelift for me)
I am in possession of a Renault Megane Coupe BJ 98 and have a pickerl until September (after that it is due). There is also a repair of two wheel bearings. I have now thought to get a half-priced day registration of a Clio IV. Now the following questions are asked: 1. Should I wait for the Clio V, since the interior should become more casual? 2. Does this ever come to September? The published sales starts vary yes. 3. The price would be true Probably not so attractive by far, do you? 4. Do you think that the vehicle will still have many childhood diseases?

Renault Clio 90tce tuning options
Hello to all motor enthusiasts, I have been the proud owner of a Renault Clio 4 (90tce) for almost 1.5 years. I am completely satisfied with the car, but a little more performance would be desirable, since the first two gears are particularly problematic. A new car with more power is currently out of the question, I would rather adapt my Clio a little. Now the question: With such a small engine with 90Ps, what possibilities do I have there? As far as I know: 1.) Chip-tuning (b) 2.) I’ve heard that a turbo engine with a new loader, exhaust system and software can get something out properly. Is that true? Is that worth it? How much money do you have to plan for such a thing? If you have tips, alternatives or something like that, I’d like to read through a lot of answers. Thanks already in advance!

Carminat TomTom as multimedia player
Moin, I’ve been getting my Clio for 2 days now and I’m getting ready to upgrade the multimedia features. The goal of me was to be able to play MP3 files via the normal radio, ideally from a memory card. I don’t have a USB port, just the 2 Cinch ports. I came across the tomplayer and managed to successfully integrate the tomplayer in the carminat (in the first attempt). The tomplayer runs on the SD card from Carminat un d “replaces” the navigation system, so to speak. Replaces in quotation marks, because you cannot use both at the same time. However, with the current version 0.241 it is possible to make a flying change, i.e. switch off without ignition, between Navi and Tomplayer. The Tomplayer supports the following: – various music files like MP3 or flac – various video files like avi or mkv are used for this purpose an adapted version of the Linux MPlayer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPlayer H If you only find music, without video, a screen saver switches on after a short time, which shows you besides GPS data also the speed. I find the idea and especially the solution so succeeded, that I simply want to communicate this here in MT The Tomplayer can be found here with various installation guides: www.tomplayer.net If someone is interested here from the MT Forum, but the English / French guides do not understand, I can find the installation guide ng, to which I have adhered, would be happy to translate. Instructions: http://www.tomplayer.net/…/viewtopic.php?… The programmer of the Tomplayer as well as myself does not take any guarantee.

Renault Clio 2 75 hp (55 kW) 1.2 Emergency run
Hello does someone know what causes the error code P0100? The small one suddenly goes into the emergency run while the pre-glow and motor control device symbol lights up… Only after the out and one of the vehicles I can pass on or again, but then I have the feeling as if I am missing 25 HP. In addition, the engine runs unquietly in idle. Does anyone have experience with the error?

Noise while steering
Hi And I bought my car last week. It’s a Renault Megane 2 automatic Now I noticed that when I turn left or right a clacking sound comes as if something was always jumping a row further (should the sound be good) After I’ve been discussing it for a long time it came out that he banged with the right front wheel against the curb with about 20 km/h. I was at a workshop before to just look it through to l assen. Since a lot of that is on the left side of the support joint is very knocked out. Can this be the reason for the noise while steering the steering wheel or is there something else broken? Thank you for your help

Allegedly no middle armrest from Renault available
Hello, wanted to buy a middle armrest for our Renault Clio IV. On the accessories page of the Renault homepage the armrest with the part number 8201367091 was indicated as suitable. Fortunately I asked before the purchase again, because I was told that the armrest does not fit, because we probably have phase 1 and the armrest is only suitable for later phases. I then asked which armrest would fit and got in answer that it probably not from Renault itself any In order to obtain a second opinion, I then called an official Renault dealer. He said that most likely the armrest with the part number 7701369825 would fit. But certainly he was not. Then I looked at the design on the internet and found it not particularly nice. Besides, it seems that it is screwed on the seat and not on the center console. Is that right? My questions are now of course: What do you say? Can it really be that there is no armrest for our vehicle from Renault? Is there perhaps a third-party provider offering suitable armrests?

Clio 2 1.5dCi(2002) Starter makes no sound
Dear MotorTalk Team, I have a very strange concern with my car (Clio 2 1.5dCi). And although the car doesn’t start since last week Saturday, nothing happens, the starter does not twitch or even click. Because I thought blue-eyed that if nothing comes and the battery does not snap, can only be the starter, I can exclude it once, which is new, I have changed. Unfortunately no change. What I have tried further: 1. battery geme eat 12.3 V at rest, do not rotate a change in the zünschlüssel. Then the light turned on for testing and tried again, the light does NOT flicker and my multimeter has also not indicated a voltage break, so I assume that the starter does NOT pull any current and at the same time, which is probably the battery (battery is only just 9 months old). Then I tried: Mass cable from battery directly to the starter on the flange –> no change when trying Now my question: The thin line that goes on the magnetic switch from the starter, where does it come from? Is there a fuse or a relay upstream what could be defective? If so which one? Or can it only be directly at the ignition lock? And then I have noticed that the battery lamp and the STOP lamp strangely out in the pre-glow position are I mean, they only go off when the engine runs and the LIMA power releases. Now and then a little bit. Therefore, I suspect somewhere a defective relay or something. But I don’t know which one and where to start. I hope you can help me there. The fuse box on the driver’s door side only makes lighting and heating? Why is the relay what hangs on the box from the outside. (in the footroom) And then there are the many relays next to the battery – the large fuses there all seem to be in time. Why are all of them always???? THANK YOU!

Renault Clio B 2.0 Sport – Detonator DF110
Hello everyone, my Clio has been bothering me with sporadic ignition oscillations as soon as it is warm for quite some time now. I have recently had the problems also when turning up in idle and accelerating. The control unit recently reports DF110 (destructive misignition) as well as misignition on cylinders 1 and 3. The following possible sources of error have already been tested: – spark plugs: all only 15Tkm in and optically, exchange between the cylinders does not allow the error to move – ignition cable: au ch only 15Tkm in it, no nibble or scrubbing tracks – two-circuit ignition coil: Exchanged for original new part of Renault (old had cracks in plastic), no improvement – compression: All cylinders between 12 and 13 bar – injection valves: runtime/age unknown, replacement of injection valves does not make the error move I pull cylinder 2 off the ignition coil the engine hardly runs any more, with cylinder 3 the least deterioration in the round run. Since the two-circuit ignition coil always zw a cylinder fired at the same time (1 and 4 as well as 2 and 3) I have put cylinder 3 at coil output 2. Now the engine with cylinder 1-3-4 runs just as well as before with 1-2-4. If I hadn’t already changed the ignition coil for a new one, I would have been the first suspect. What is left of error causes? -OT-Geber? -Control unit? I would be grateful for suggestions or corrections of my previous analysis. MfG Robert

Timing belt change mode
Hi, I’m driving a Renault mode BJ 2004. He ran 65,000 km. At the Renault dealer I had a maintenance table and an estimate for a timing belt change printed. According to the maintenance table, the timing belt has to be changed every 5 years or at 120,000 km. My car has now considerably less km (65,000), but is 7 years old, i.e. from the years already 2 years above the border. So should the timing belt be changed? Then to Angebo t of the Renault dealer: Timing belts incl. water pump renew and V-belt set with tensioning guide role renew= 799.04 Euro. Is this too expensive? Here are some individual items: Water pump Zc11 = 100.45 Rep.Set Nm11=171,90 Rep.Set Yq15= 63,56 Working time 6,1 x 81= 494,10 Then there was another small item, on the total amount there was a special discount. Complete price, as mentioned: 799 Euro. My questions: 1.Is the timing belt change necessary? 2.Is the offer of the Renault specialist works att OK? 3. The appointment is next week Friday. Should I not drive at all until then or can I drive very short distances (max 5km)?
