Hello everyone my Renault Espace V is causing me problems. And I have the error P0096 which conjures me the red screw key / MKL on’s instrument cluster (at least I have no further error). And in November is soon TÜV :/ According to this link P0096 is the error ‘Intake air temperature sensor 2 – range / function error circuit’. Next I found this thread here, which has the same problem, or even the same. So I changed the MAP sensor in the Espace. ‘Olle’ Launch Diagnosis does not show this error in the simple ‘Diagnosis’ menu any more, but if you go to ‘OBD II’ you see the error. With an image of the output. And this is my problem at the moment. There is ‘Permanent’. I try to delete the error via the ‘OBD II’ menu but despite deletion the error remains. Is there another way that I can delete the error? Thank you very much

Espace 2.0 T “Injection testing” no longer takes gas (DF079 and DF004)
Hello together, if there is already the topic Sorry I have found nothing in the search. We came back yesterday from southern France and at the German border I started to drive a little faster, at 190Km/h suddenly the power loss and the message “injection testing ” drove off on the side strip engine ( because he took no more gas ) after 5 minutes again message was gone again started again slightly zack again accelerates the Me ldung , then made it over the country road home ( slowly driven , until at home came the message again 3 times ) and today read out ( see picture ) throttle flap removed cleaned (in the intake hose and around the throttle flap was oil ) . Had someone this before and can report what to it ? I would now start the change of throttle flap and the charging pressure sensor possibly if my suspicion because of the oil also the crankshaft ventilation change( from the exhaust comes white Smoke) and would be grateful if someone could tell me the parts numbers

Engine noise (knocking) at Renault Espace 1999
Hi, everybody! My Renault Espace clacks like a diesel when the engine is running, but it’s a petrol engine! It’s still running! Now I was already in a workshop and I couldn’t get any further help. Apparently the hydrostoves, camshafts and cylinders were checked and an internal engine cleaning was also done, but without success!!! Man told me that this problem was known to me in these models and couldn’t be done much, except replacement engine!! ask this away if anyone can help me further here or give any tips what else could be the cause!?? Greeting Axel

Which Espace would you buy?
Hello, at the moment we are driving a Mercedes 250D with which we are actually very satisfied. However, he already has the red badge and must be sold at the latest at the end of the year. Without that we need a little more space for a dog and so the purchase of a new vehicle is on. A Renault Espace would like us possibly. Now I ask the question which model it should become. Are there among the Espaces model series or vintages with more or less problems et are? Which series are considered more service-friendly or more robust – which are more susceptible to any typical problems (and which are these?)? Should we pay attention to a certain performance? So far we think about buying a diesel. The newer models look already visually significantly changed. Are there also technical changes that speak for or against to get a newer model. Since it should be a used one it would be interesting to know o b it would be better to buy an Espace from the newer series (since when is there any?) or was the series before that “matured” (for example children’s diseases?). Which year was the last with the narrow headlights and are they recommended? A lot of questions… I hope that maybe someone can answer me one or the other. Bye and a lot of greetings Ralf

Espace 2006 2.0dci 173 Purchase recommendation
Moin people. I might want to buy an Espace Bj 09/2006 2.0dci with the 173PS. He now has almost 100,000km on the clock. It is an initial so top equipped. Well my questions. What should I consider everything if I look at it or what else there is to say about it? Are there still as frequent problems with the new diesel engines as with the old 2.2dci etc.? Do these models have any other illnesses? Driving method because of DPF is known to me. in. 30min driving, because of regeneration of the filter etc or? This engine has now also a control chain or? Is there something to consider? Vehicle is of a friendly, therefore everything should be there because of service. Thanks for the answers!

Renault Espace Privilege 2.2 dci 150 hp
Hello, I am also an affected Renault Espace Privilege 2,2 dci 150 HP driver, who like sooo many other also huge fun to be able to drive such a great car with a grand full equipment! But who then woke up again quickly when it hit on Friday the 27.01.2012 on the highway A 24 towards Berlin near Parchim / Neustadt Glewe in the engine room strongly! As was then confirmed by a Renault workshop, the pleul pole is out of the engine The car has just run 165,000 kilometers!!! The new engine would then cost between 10,000,- € and 13.000,- € including installation!!! I’m sour, even sour !!! I only restocked the car in the best form last year!!! 1. In March 2011 I got the timing belt, the rib belt Plus Zubeh 2. I bought new summer tyres for sage and write 2200,-€ !!! 3. I bought new winter tyres for 820,-€!!!! 4. I got new ball heads in October!!! 5. I got a new servo pump in August!!! 6. I got a new track rod in August!!! 7. I got new TÜV in November!!! 8. I got in the same week when it hit completely new brakes with discs!!! Reg Unfortunately I had the inspections done!!! I had an oil change every 10,000 kilometers!!! Everything from a certified workshop!!!! WHAT about all this ??? Does Renault believe that I print the money in the basement???? Is it the Chema of Renault so to deal with the interests of its customers??? So I would be full to go against Renault legally!!! That can’t be true, because obviously this problem is a problem which Renault also knows well !!! But then also big and up-to-date with his engines in the advertisement with the Formula 1 world champion bragging around!!! That doesn’t fit at all !!! So just get in touch with me and write what you think about it!!! Dear greeting, Cobretty!

Grand Espace from 2003: steering, clutch, climate defective: repair or new purchase?
Here are the facts: – Grand Espace IV (JK) 2.0 Turbo petrol 160 hp – first registration 07/2003 – purchased in 2007 for 15,000 euros at the Renault dealer with mileage 90,000 km – current mileage about 140,000 km – HU until 06/2013 According to this dealer (at the same time workshop) now defective: – clutch, completely down driven (that’s also so, I notice myself while driving) – storage of the track rod heads is knocked out / has easy game (this has already told us another workshop) – steering loses oil – according to Renault, the replacement of the entire steering is necessary! For this we got a price of 1,600 Euro for parts and approx. 1,300 Euro for work performance. In addition: – air conditioning: cooling capacitor defective, costs approx. 400 to 500 Euro – summer tires have to be renewed next year – costs? – The dealer who has already offered us a new Espace (oh what!), dro with the failure of the engine in the next 20,000 kilometers… Now the exciting question: What to do? Money unfortunately plays a role after all… – Only replace the clutch, let the rest run until it fails? Is oil loss of the steering a safety risk? – invest 3,000 euros in the repair of this car and hope that it will last for another two years? – The dealer would offer us about 5,000 euros for the car if we buy a new (or old) from him – good offer? Accept again Rena buy ult Espace? – Or get rid of the car somehow and go looking for something completely new? The easiest way would be to win a lottery… Thank you for your tips, Thomas

Suddenly no more gas
Hello, I would like to ask you a question about my car Renault Espace built in 2004 (2.0 l diesel 173 hp) Fing suddenly would not be able to accept any more gas. Even if I completely penetrated the gas pedal, the rev indicator between 1250 and 1500 rpm is not going on. Panner helpers from the ADAC could not hold up. Then the vehicle was towed from the ADAC to the workshop. There was a new diesel filter installed but the problem remained. The next days sol l the vehicle will be taken home to me. Maybe they have an idea what the problem can be. Would I be very pleased about a message from you. Sincerely Hans Peter Schmitt
