Tach together, we have problems with our Grand Espace. (BJ 2008, 135000km) After the inspection, 2 weeks ago, the car jumped badly and at the beginning of every drive took the gas badly. At some point it went only with starter aid and hand pump. The car then ran perfectly and could also be restarted if it did not stand longer than approx. 1.5 hours. Three different ADAC angels have recognized the air is pulled, which of course have different reasons ka nn. The car is now standing at Renault and it is “presumed” that it is the diesel pump. Reperature costs approx. 5000 Euro. We do not really believe in a defective pump. What if it is only the pipes that pull air somewhere (not quite improbable after the inspection)? Can you not only replace the valves / clean and not immediately the whole pump. I know that the replacement would be connected with many working hours (engine out). Who has experience or knows a good factory for a second opinion somewhere in the Ruhr area? Last one of you listen!

Electrical problems GJK – (almost) nothing goes more: AI, indicator, taillight,… – Cause? Manual?
In the context of retrofitting AHK I “deleted” the GJK: Electrical is not sooo heavy (for this I also had a company letter). When determining the wires on the rear lights I noticed that the rear light is not working on the left side and no electricity is coming. Checking the –super achievable – fuses in the engine compartment resulted in a defective 7.5er, which I replaced. Previously in the engine compartment the small ones tested without defective. When pulling the dashboard fuses with pointed tongs there was once a short time a with the plastic gripper you can’t really pull the small fuses, because you have to squeeze them down (with other cars it wasn’t necessary) The problem is now: there’s almost nothing left. Motor starts, but AI doesn’t work – everything is dark (even no tacho); no blinker, interior light, tail light etc. The alarm light is shining – but turn signals don’t work. With the electric AHK I come so naturally nic I didn’t trust myself on the road either. I checked: again all the fuses in the engine compartment (also the big ones); almost all small ones in the dashboard; disconnecting battery (helped with the Zafira more often). Condition unchanged. Operating instructions unfortunately there was no one. Which relays or other/hidden fuses could it still be? Closing is not possible. LED lights on FB. Rear flap is then closed. Doors but not. Windscreen wiper works. Ignition does not work. 20th fuse between the front seats is intact. What is striking is that you try to turn on the ignition (do not leave it on), a LED lights up in the AI. Between kmh display and nav display; just above the center of the speed numbers. If you then let on, the LED lights up. If you start without starting the ignition beforehand, the LED does not light up. When trying to ignition, you can hear a noise from the engine compartment. Even longer battery disconnection does not change anything. If you pull the right small 30A fuse in the engine compartment, it goes off (in the direction of travel the left of the two 30A fuses). What is the fuse for? Isn’t the manual as pdf? At Renault, I find only that of the model V – with other functions in the fuse box. At times, a buzz in the engine compartment was detectable.

Renault Espace Built 2007 Diesel 2.0 Science(?) fap 173PS
Hello I have to separate myself from my Astra for family reasons and need a bigger car. I now have a Renault Espace 3(I believe) from ez.2007 with 2.0 dci Motor 173PS. With alcantara leather, a lot snap, climate automatic… the car drives well and it also works everything. It has 150tkm and is supposed to cost about 600€. Are there negative things that are known about the engine, or you can recommend the motor. Don’t really know me at Renault. and does not want to make any mispurchasing. Greetings Holger

Experience with TCe 200 gasoline engine in the new Espace 5?
Hello, we are about to buy a family car. 4 people, 2 of them small children. The car must have some steam and should be a gasoline engine. Euro 6 is mandatory. So far in the race: Ford Mondeo tournament or S-Max with 240 hp. Ford Focus ST tournament with 250 hp. Each of 2L displacement. The Focus RS Hatchback is still in my head, but would probably be a little too small for the family. The Renault Espace V would be an alternative, but I’m scared of the 1.6 L engine. I am afraid that such a small engine in a 1.7 ton car would be tormented. The car would be driven mostly by my wife on short distance, but for holiday trips then also Papi can drive and he wants to give some gas. The new car really should be (almost) new and at the price more at the level of the Mondeo. The Espace would be about 10,000 Eur more expensive in the street price, but I would do that to the necessity, I would like to know if there is someone here who would also like to drive a little faster and owns the Espace 200 gasoline. I would be happy about a few comments on this. Greetings, HC P.S.: yes, I know that a van is not a racing car…

Espace 3.0 cdi: Where is my radio?
Sorry if the question sounds a bit strange. My car has a radio, I have already found the CD changer behind the panel to the left, it says “Alpina”. It also works all the input options on the satellite and the display on the dashboard. Only: At all the installation locations specified in the description “Auditorium”, i.e. neither behind a glove compartment flap, nor under the passenger seat, is a device installed. I ask because I have some settings In my search I found a “empty” plug and an obviously intended place for the installation of a device behind the “room” for the tool, i.e. at the rear right, from the fixing point for the tool holder to the outside. What does that mean? Does anyone know this? Thank you for every information! Ernstl

Opinion on the purchase of a used Grand Espace 4
Hello, In the general purchase consultation I was advised to ask again here, so excuse the double post! After a long time back and forth I finally found a model which meets our requirements. Family with two children, we travel a lot and I absolutely need a car with single seats in the back (travel with double bass/baggy) and enough trunk. About Grand scenic (too small), berlingo (too short) I have now come to the Grand Espace. Lots of space, very variable with d Our budget is around 1200€, equipment relatively no matter. I am looking for a 2l diesel of the last generation from 2011-2014. I would have found here an offer, which is at first glance relatively expensive, but for that a lot of things were done and it is probably in a very good condition. According to dealer: New brakes front/back, battery, track rods, joints, electronics stuff… 1.Hand, leasing back. What do you think of this offer? At AutoUncle it is classified as expensive, but various repairs have already been done. The dealer has without exception good ratings for this. Renault Grand Espace Ed.25th

KeyCard new, reader new and no help in sight
Hello all, I’m new here and have a question for you. My diva has a , well already big problem. It started with that my battery is empty from the 3 key cards (replacement also) within a week? Assuming that these are broken I had ordered one at the friendly and opened a “defect” card. I had to find out that in the card, with me, only one battery is in it and that one can change ( CR2025). The new card k At the top and we had to fasten immediately that also the battery of this card only one week lifts. Back to the friendly then the Diva built in a new reader, because there was the assumption that this reader continuously queried the card (Keyless Entry&Drive) and thus the battery drained. I measured the batteries and they have after a week instead of 3.22 volts (new battery) only 2.7 volts. Now it’s about what it could be about to have some insight so that the friendly does not get the blue from the sky. So far it has cost about 500 euros. Problem automatic transmission Espace 3.0 dci
Hello, with my Espace 3.0 dci, year 2003, the automatic transmission spins. In a slow drive on the AB, the traffic jam just dissipated, there was a small jerk and the message “manual gearbox disturbed”. However, I could drive even further, but the display for the driving stage did not indicate in which gear the car was driving. ADAC called, towed. Workshop. There was only one error read out, something with fault multifunction switch. Since the electrician there still on vacation w ar, they want to examine the car next week and look at some wire harnesses. I took the car with me for the first time and he also drove, switched – in urban traffic – flawlessly. After about three days, however, the problem appeared again today, after I had a total of about 30 km of city traffic behind me. In addition to the indication that the manual transmission is disturbed, the display for a malfunction in the electronics also lights up. f “R” is not the driving stage. I know remote diagnosis is hardly possible, but maybe someone has had this problem before and found out what it was about. I don’t want to pay for a new transmission…. Thanks for every feedback!

Change Renault Espace 4 V6 Automatic transmission oil
Hello together We have one of the first Espace 2002 with the 3.5l V6 engine with automatic transmission. The car has now run 250 tkm and I think the transmission oil has never been changed. The gears also do not change as gently as before. Can you change the oil yourself? Which one belongs in there? And is there a filter that you should order before?
