    Hello guys, have Prolem with my Megane Scenic (JA0F) build.-Year 1999). After car battery change (with the strong negatives of the last weeks broken together) the car can no longer start. With radio key opened, key in the ignition lock turned around motor does not start. It flashes the red lamp (WFS), when starting it does not go out and blinks clearly faster, starter spins perfectly through (new battery), moter makes no muck. with both keys probi ert.   • Renault Grand Scenic 2 lax front axle

    Hello together, I feel slight blows on the steering wheel at my Scenic and hear so a dull “kacker” . This happens however only after approx. 2-3km. It also happens on straight road. Other tires, new brakes and discs did not help. At the TÜV nothing unusual was seen. I jacked up the car and let down the tires on stones once more to hear if the shock absorber , springs makes noises , but nothing is to be heard. before I go to a workshop and start changing one after the other, maybe without a plan, I wanted to ask you for advice?   • Timing belt change 2.0l CC does not get belts on

    Hello all, now I finally removed the timing belt on my Megane 2 CC 2.0l. Everything went much better than I had already feared, but now I can’t go any further. See pictures. Don’t get the new timing belt on it. It would almost work if I finally mounted the tensioning roller, but then I didn’t get into locknut. Only because it really needed a muzzle with the new strap, so that the grooves sat everything exactly, the cam adjuster a bit. Until then I made good progress, even if it took a lot of time, because I’m doing this on the car for the first time. I hope you can help me. Thank you very much. Work rests now I thought I would get it all ready today, but Pustekuchen! And now I see that the holding tool from the front camshaft is something. So soon I guess the total chaos. I found nowhere also settings of OT 1. cylinder. The pinion of the camshaft is loose on it and also not not a notch also notch I had gone through the engine a dozen times and it was already difficult to fit the holding gear in both grooves. The car was commissioned 5 years ago in a Renault workshop with timing belts and everything. The car always ran perfectly round so far, no dropouts etc. Hopefully that is still something to save. At the moment I stand in front of the engine and ponder what to do. I really wanted to do and I knew it would take time, but now I’m paralyzed.

  • Timing belts Megane II CC Coupe 2009

    Hello all, an opinion of you would interest me. With my Megane would be changed in May2009 with 100,000 of the timing belts. But also everything on the belt, i.e. Wapu, turning wheels, cam adjuster. Now the car has run 15000 KM, because it is only registered in summer. Of the mileage everything total luxury is now to replace the timing belts and Wapu again, but Renault writes the 5 years ago or 80T KM?. Of course, a belt ages, but the FZG is almost never used for The costs at that time were quite high and this time I would make the change myself, but I just don’t see the necessaryness yet. There are days when the works great and it comes nice cold out of the ventilation, – then there are days when only warm air comes out of the ventilation.   • Automatic transmission Renault Scenic 2,0 16V

    Hello, have had problems with the automatic transmission for some time with my Scenic 2.0 16V, 2005 year, mileage 47,000 km, problems with the automatic transmission. In cold condition the speed must not rise above 3,000 rpm and the speed is not more than 70 km/h, otherwise the gear will always jump out and the transmission will only run in “emergency mode”, i.e. only 3. driving stage. Display display: gearbox defective, check. Stop, engine off, restart – everything again normal. If then the operating temperature erreic ht is (after approx. 15 km), the gearbox switches through again cleanly all driving steps. Lt. Werkstatt is probably a control valve defective, approx. 180,- € Mat.- Costs plus installation and removal. Since something like never happens (o-tone workshop) the bulwark application was rejected, because allegedly normal wear and tear respectively. Do Renault transmissions really only hold 47,000 km ??? My question: Do other owners have similar experiences, if I am really an individual case. For your Antwo I thank you already once

Consumption and expenses are taken over (also private and on vacation). We keep our Yaris Verso, so it should become more practical. I fell in love with the Megane Grandtour and there is the question about the engine. The diesel is certainly horny, but the basic price is also considerably higher. Which would you take? A 1,9dCI FAP (130hp) Avan days rather naked or a 2.0 16V (135hp) exception with all Fred and Feuerstein? Both cost almost the same amount. I once had a BMW E46 320D touring with 150hp, that was already a class in itself, such a diesel.

    Hello. I bought a 1.6 16V Megane II at the beginning of 2003 and would like to introduce to the interested people a small extract of my previously detected defects. – Delivery day: Delle with deep paint scraper in the roof – 3 weeks later: Water entrance in the left front door – after half a year and about 8000 km: steering noise, caused by the airbag coil – almost simultaneously: annoying brake squeak – simultaneous failure of both glare bulbs, defect in the electrical system ? Ren ault says no – flashing light bulb at the front right is loose by itself, thus annoying and cumbersome rumfummels guaranteed; but was fixed by changing the middle time third bulb – again failure of a passing light bulb, for 3 months both burn, still ! – after 20 months and about 45,000 km (yes, I drove a lot despite a lot of time in the workshop) – failure of the ignition coil of the 3rd cylinder – after 2 weeks, failure of the 1st ignition coil – after 4 weeks: the last two ZS go gle I was broken at the time – in the meantime I already had the whole model range (except for Espace) as a replacement car (comfortable side effect) – for 8 weeks knattert, but not always more often, something in the engine room at the start, after 1-2 seconds the noise is gone, partly the engine also runs out during the first start attempt, Renault has changed everything possible (starter, cold start valve etc.) Noise is still there); continuation follows.

A buddy has bought a Megané now, believe 04 year of manufacture, 1,9 diesel with 125 hp How much weight does the vehicle weigh? How much hp exactly?
