Hello all, I drive a Megane Coupe (TCE 180) built in 2009. I bought the car at the end of 2011 and had not had any significant problems. I was good every 2 years during the inspection in the workshop. The car now has about 140,000 km. A few weeks ago I noticed that some vibrations can be felt when accelerating in the 4th and 5th gear between 65-80 KM/H (between 2000-3000 revolutions). At first I thought the accelerator or the gear lever would vibrate, but My co-drivers also feel these vibrations, so it affects the whole car. It is not extreme, but noticeable… and as soon as you have about 3000 revolutions or drive over 85 km/h everything is normal again. Hard to describe, it feels as if there is some imbalance in it or something back and forth commuting/hurling under the car or in the engine room. But as I said, only in the said frame and then everything is normal again. It is also only easy to feel, had already worried that the Employees from the workshop may not even notice what I mean. Because it didn’t leave me alone I went to a Renault specialist workshop and took a test drive with an employee. He also felt these “vibrations”. I left the car there to look for the error. Now I got a first call today: In the transmission oil would be many chips and one suspects the transmission would be in no good condition and should be replaced. Only price for the transmission: 4500 € I almost fell off the chair! Apart from these “vibrations” that I feel every now and then, the car drives quite normal and doesn’t make any funny noises or the like. In addition, the employee said that the problem might not have been solved yet, it could also be something with the ignition and wanted to know how to proceed now. I told him of course that I didn’t have the gearbox replaced for 4500 €, so I can buy a new car right away… Now I would like to pick up the car again tomorrow and ask the staff more precisely how they come up with it etc. and asked me to write down the defects so that I can inform myself in peace. Can it really be that a defective gearbox leads to the problems I described it comes to? Wouldn’t it always have to be a vibration/vibration? Renault dealer can’t detect radiocode

Hello, we received last week the diagnosis engine damage for our Megane year 2013, 65,000km. In February of this year we got a new engine control software, because the vehicle went into the emergency run because of a too low outside temperature (about -2 degrees ). Since this update was started, the vehicle jerks clearly noticeable at about 2100 rpm. We have claimed this in our workshop, a strongly lost spark plug on Zyl. 1 was found, This has not been corrected, however, since this is caused by the software, which has been confirmed by a Renaut technician in so far as the specialist workshop. The technician has dismissed our request with a “the customer must live with it” and has completed this…. Since July, we have now had a continuously increasing oil consumption, to the end, about 1 litre to 1000 km, this we have now claimed in the specialist workshop, which in this regard the Com pression of the individual cylinder tested, with the result that on Zyl. 3 the compression is below 6 bar and therefore is not sufficient, moreover the spark plug was completely smeared so that the insulation of the spark plug was no longer detectable —- engine damage…. We received a KV about the replacement of the engine in the amount of 6200 Euro (net), of which we get 50% on bulancy, the customer care takes over 1000 Euro (net) and the car house 500 Euro (net) thus have We have to mention that all the above mentioned problems have been reported except for the oil consumption during the warranty period. No luck with my Scenic, Exhaust/Lathe
As with my little one is really the worm in it, the car just pisses me off. Just bought and already absolutely zero buck on the car. Renault is squandering Megane TOMTOM 100 HP models – where is the catch?
Hello, I’m now driving a Opel Meriva (EZ:2005) and am looking for a new one. In my search I’ve also been to Renault and, like on mobile.de, the Megane Grandtour TomTom was offered for less than 14,000 euros. According to the list, the model should cost 100hp (74KW) times 18,430 euros. So about 25% cheaper without negotiating. Since nobody has something to give away, I wonder why. – As I read here, there is probably 2012 still a facelift at the Megane. Is that the reason why Is the Megane III really that perfect? (One of my colleagues recently disassembled the turbocharger of his VW Passat. After research it came out that it is a well-known problem if the oil pump fails (that happens regularly in some years of construction) . Are there also known serial problems with the Megan III? – The engine 1.6 16V 100 will probably no longer be available after my research. Is there any experience about the engine? Megane II error df028 and df010 in combination 1.5 deci
Good day together, I have a problem for a long time. After about 5 hours of real driving time I get the error message injection check. When I read the then the errors df028 and df010 come to light. From about a year all valves and high pressure pump were replaced. The error comes for a few months. During the ride you do not notice any unusual behavior and after the deletion the error is gone. Funny way it seems to be no matter how long I drive but the mistake seems to come back after a certain time. Does anyone have an idea what I can do? Do not want to pump more money into the car. Windscreen or headlamp washing system
Hello municipality, it’s me again. My problem today revolves around the (apparently not so widespread) headlight washing system. Do I have to dismantle the fender in order to get to the pump for it? Because, in my attempt to get that way, it didn’t work. I don’t know if the previous owner has been there before, fact is anyway, I have the nozzles in the bumper, from these also hoses go into the wheel box. From the other side, than from the inside, comes also a wire harness, with plug, probably the control line. On the tank itself I find, if I reach under the wheelhouse cover, only a float, which triggers the warning light at too low a level but I find no pump, especially because hoses and cables are even loosely under the cover. Since I do not know now exactly where the pump should sit, keep my question, whether I have to come up with this or whether the fender has to come down for it. New problem? Give car (diesel) extremely loud on the gas
Hello together I have a problem again with my Renault Scenic 2005 diesel engine. After I was on the road last night everything was still running completely normal. Then I parked briefly, was short at the bakery, wanted to get back in, switched on car and I had a quite loud knocking noise in the engine room.In the afternoon I was at my workshop to have it checked, what suddenly happened with my car. After the car mechanic then the car control he said to me that it was hydraulic plungers. So he threw some oil in it, even though the car actually had enough in it (was about minimum). A few weeks ago I had already filled oil myself, because the car had shown this on. Of course also the right thing! He then told me to drive around with it for a few days, 2-3 days, and see if the noise disappeared. But now I noticed something today. e knocking is partly gone, but I have another problem and that’s how it is when I give gas that the car is extremely loud. I also have the feeling that the car comes much slower to the speed from normal and according to my inside indicator I had today several times just on 13 l/100km, which is not the case otherwise! It sounds like the exhaust is over, however the noise definitely comes from the engine compartment (which I think at least!) If the car mechanic but most likely even if there were something with the exhaust or pipe or not? The sounds can only be heard so extremely loud when you are sitting in the car. If you are standing in front of the bonnet, it is not much louder than usual. Besides, I hear a very easy rattle from the front. What I find strange is, if I brake the car or kick the clutch, the car is so extremely quiet. Yesterday at the car workshop I also noticed, that the engine has wobbled quite a bit when starting, whether this is normal or not, can I not judge????????? Maybe you can help me. I am overwhelmed. electric air conditioning / heating / ventilation without function after rain
Hello Have Megane 3 Grandtour Diesel 131PS Built 07/2011 with me the drains in the engine compartment were clogged thus the rainwater got through the ventilation into the vehicle interior. Since then my electr. air conditioning / heating / ventilation does not work. The display is there can be set temperature but nothing comes out, Yesterday I developed glove compartment, radio, air conditioning control display but did not find where the blower motor / heating resistance or heating control unit is installed. Can someone tell me where the components are installed best would be with picture what I have to expand everything so that I can get there. Must also be deleted error memory? What would such a repair cost. Thanks for your help already.
