  • Front windscreen wiper spiders.

Hey guys, it’s me again. Since you finally solved all the problems comes a new one… I also read myself once but with me it’s a bit weirder… My windshield wipers at the front spiders. Last time it rained heavily and suddenly nothing moved anymore only the nozzles worked… Now you can think how nice that is without having to drive…. I left the car standing then. Then it didn’t rain any more and suddenly look at the windshield. It’s a bit laaaangsam at the beginning as if they have to recharge and then they’re back to normal. Soo so far as it rains again and the same problem so I thought aha the contacts will certainly get wet or otherwise and that’s why it works if it doesn’t rain (it was also in another forum). Then I wanted to leave today and wanted to turn on the wipers again (it didn’t rain at all today) and it didn’t work for 10 seconds later and that was full of e…. I get some panic because it’s like russian roulette. Before I installed a power amplifier with subwoofer but that can’t get away with it, can it?? or do you think it gets wet and I should release it and seal it somehow? Auto: Renault Megan II Cabrio yes I have all the problems at once Oo really lucky

  • Noise from the servo pump

Hello, so, I’m driving a Megane I, first registration ’99. Problem: for about two months I’ve been getting a ‘grinding’/’egging’ sound (very good to hear). If it’s still cold, it sounds much more humane. Warm then the gloom is relatively no matter, you can hear it massively even with a slight impact. Strange is that sometimes it just sounds like a ‘iron’ and sometimes really hard mechanically after an additional impact. As I now come to the headline (according to the motto, the patient tells the doctor what to do): I was told by a workshop about a year ago that my servo pump was leaking and would still be around 50,000 KM. Every time I mention this in a workshop, it is said “yes, you have to have it replaced” without further control. However, the container for the fluid of the servo steering is full (even a little too full, far above the “MAX” marking). Is it a mistake to say that when the container is so full, can the pump not be so leaky to cause such noises? In this sense. Greeting Kai

  • Ventilation / air conditioning / heating without function

Hello dear community.. have bought in December 2017 a 1 hand used Megane 3 Grandtour 1.5 dci 106 hp with automatic air conditioning, was continuous checkbook maintained at the same Renault car dealership (last inspection 07/2017)..everything was OK.. Then annual holiday, car stood 20 days outdoors, Battarie was weak in the cold..after several attempts the engine finally starts and I drive .. but: blower is dead! Climate/ventilation glow but no air no matter what I do 1- thread about OTS 0BCG Ruckruf the heating-preresistance read through, then I called the AH (where the car was always maintained checkbook), asked if the above call was carried out? the master looked in the system and meant with my megane no ruckrufs open. i.e.: everything was already done at that time. 2- couple of days later ( unfortunately had no good results with the Renault car dealership here at my ex Megane) therefore this time to the free workshop: memory reader connected, air conditioning automatic F ehler: ( P1129 Control of the regulator for fresh air blowers ), error deleted, blower but still dead What do you mean by what it can be ? Heating Preresistance changed at the time but without removing or milling the flaps of the processes ? (the cause remains) ? ECU of the blower? blower motor? Can anyone recommend me nen clever Renault screwdriver in the area Hannover ? Am for your answers / help quite grateful Robert

  • Put in a problem with the gear.

Moin all together. Been with my Megane 1 Cabrio Bj 1997 1.6e 90 hp. The gearbox made noises. Coupling was changed before about 600km from the previous owner (in the workshop). When the clutch stepped away was grinding. Well I thought, out back bearing. Gear down. Back bearing used, clutch new. New bearing and fresh oil in, as the oil was black. Noises were gone. But came new problem, which is perhaps my fault. When I was disassembled I have everything mark the pen was not waterproof. All the markings were gone. If I put in the first gear now, we put in the reverse gear although I don’t pull up the “ring” (I don’t remember the name). Did I push in too far the pole? My second question on the edge? Wanted to install a Renault Megane CD radio. This has 2 small plugs blue and yellow. In the car is a narrower elongated installed. ? Pinbelegun/Color. Thank you very much in advance.

  • Scenic Phase 2 starter defective?

Hello together, our Scenic (Automatic, 1.6, 107hp) no longer makes a sound when turning the key. Since I thought recently to hear a cumbersome turning of the engine when starting, I thought – because car outside and temperatures at -5 degrees – immediately to the battery. The battery has a viewing window and showed fine, I then installed the charger and after 5 hours showed the device full. When turning the key however (except for the petrol pump) nothing happens at all, also the e Lighting in the interior doesn’t get darker or even collapses, so I would close on a defective battery. I have added a bridge to another battery, didn’t help either. A new starter was installed in 2018 with the workshop notice “Dental wreath worn, splint may be broken soon”. That can’t be the trigger for a new defect of the starter now, can it? how would you proceed so that I can rule out the simplest things and maybe there were problems with the ignition lock? I would be very grateful about tips! Greetings Micha

  • Renault r19 Cabrio cloudy rear window

My daughter recently bought a convertible Renault R19. With this vehicle the rear window is so cloudy and scratched that you can no longer see through it. On the Internet a company offers a complete cover with a glass pane (with test mark, i.e. with the snake line) for purchase/installation. This disc is therefore not made of plastic and therefore “cloudproof”. Since the cover of our vehicle is still in a very good condition, possibly only such glass Has anyone from the Motor-Talk-Forum already made a rear window change (in particular installation of the above mentioned glass pane) at the R19 convertible? If so, what is there to consider? Are sources of supply known? How expensive is the disc, for example. I would be happy to receive answers and would like to thank you now.

  • Megane III Grandtour dci 130 Consumption

Hello dear Renault municipality. As already mentioned in the subject, it is about the consumption of the dci 130 in the Grandtour. I used my mother’s car now once to get to work. When driving I drove about 200 km highway at 130 km/h with disabled climate. The on-board computer showed me at the end 5.8 liters on 100 km. Tires are 17 inches and 205 mm wide. I find the value quite high, because my own car (BMW 320d limousine from 2007, with the same tire width) a liter w I am quite clear that the megane is slightly higher and that a station wagon usually has a little more consumption than a limousine. But a whole litre is already crass iwie. So to be brief. Is the consumption acceptable, i.e. normal with the driving mode?

  • Extension of window lifter engine Renault Megane Coupe Cabrio

In my megane cabrio bj.2005 the window on the driver’s side doesn’t work anymore .now I have dismantled everything and have only tried to expand the motor for the window lifter but unfortunately can’t see if the one rail is glued/welded or if it is screwed somewhere. I have solved the one screw in front but can’t get the motor out. Now my question….can you remove the motor alone or have to d Is it possible to extend the entire frame for the window?? Would I be happy about any help?

  • 1.6 Gasoline 113 hp, due from 2003: cold start clapping

Hello I am Michael, I drive a slightly older Renault Megane Scenic year 2004, now in the cold season, or if the vehicle is standing a bit violently at the first start. So, either it is cold under +5 degrees, often also occurs in the garage or the vehicle stands longer than a day. In warmer temperatures the problem does not occur. Press the start button, engine starts with loud flap and goes out again after 2 – 5 seconds. Sometimes it happens, but less often it starts and after 2 – 3 seconds it goes away and it runs normal. What can this be and how can I fix the problem? My brother said it might be due to the hydro-pumps, but I don’t know if my engine has which. The funny thing is that it doesn’t occur all the time, but in cool weather often. Can anyone please help me and tell me if there are any bigger problems with it? With friendly and quiet. Greetings Michael
