Hello, I am currently looking for a car for max 800€, diesel and enough space to sleep in it. I have now come across the Touran 2.0TDI on the Scenics and wanted to see a bit what they cost (purchase, consumption, taxes, insurance, …). I found now one that probably dates back to October 2010, a 2.0 dci FAP I think, with automatic, however 175hp I found nothing of the kind in my research and also Check24 knows this mo What kind of engine can this be and is it recommended at all? The point behind the search is that I plan a European tour (for the first time next year) and would like to see what is in question, since the car is clearly most important here. If you have any other suggestions, I am open to it. I only need space, diesel, reliability and maintenance arm up to 800€ and from about 2005. Thank you for your answers!

Hello, I drove a Megane Grandtour Z 1.4TCe until November 2015. I now switched to Hyundai i30 Diesel On Monday the car dealership, where I had bought the Meggi, called me and asked if I still had the car. I told you that I had sold the car to Holland. It was about a technical recall action by Renault (no KBA action). When I heard of a search at Renault, in the course of exhaust manipulatins, my curiosity was aroused. Maybe yes, I know someone more specific about the subject? Does the recall have anything to do with it? I am grateful for all the information Gruss Frank

Hello dear MT community, I unfortunately have a problem with my Renault Scenic II 1.6 16V Built. 2005… Since a few days my car doesn’t want to be right, and it goes out right after the start after a few seconds without jerking or twitching again. At first I thought I might have strangled it, but that’s not so, what could be behind it? Recently I changed 3 out of 4 ignition coils and TÜV also got it a week ago. That he not only jerks lightly during the ride (so he runs restless) but that he also lacks some power that he used to have… So if you push on the accelerator pedal he doesn’t go forward as before but behaves as if he is a gear higher and he lacks speed. The problem with going out at the start I got in the grip on my last ride so that I just gave more gas and avoided stopping, so stupid as that too. -> But that can’t be the solution to the problem?! hello people. bought me a renault senice bj 2003 with 1.6 16v petrol engine engine code K4M 700. in the car the cylinder head was degraded which is not a problem. seals I have everything new as well as screws head is already on it. now my problem. how do I recognize which camshaft the inlet and which is the outlet. have found only mmittig of the camshafts each two “calls” as marking. these are with the two waves with different distance. and another one more question. how do I set the tax times best without special tools? there are any markings I can contact? for helpful tips I would be very grateful.

Due to the fact that the nozzles of the windscreen wiper system were no longer working properly at the front, I cleaned them and set them up correctly. I had to spray water several times during setting. After I had done this, I wanted to start the car. The starter worked, but the engine didn’t start (which previously worked without problems). I looked at the candles and had to find out that there was no spark of ignition. Since I still had a new original replacement ignition coil, I built it in and tried to start again. Even without success. What else could it be about? Also the help of another car at start-up, by means of a starter cable, did not help.

Hello dear people I drive a Renault Megane Scenic 1,9 DCI 96 KW Bj 08.2005 Yesterday he just went out shortly after the start and can not be started since the tank is not empty.. Error memory empty it seems to me as if he does not get a diesel. I pumped several times at the vent (black rubber bellows front passenger side in the engine compartment) until I noticed a strong counter pressure at the same time start the engine. He jumped on but then immediately went out again has tested this several times always the same. Is it on the diesel filter, pre-shipment pump or on the high pressure diesel pump. Hello! I received an emergency call from my parents today: breakdown… On the road overtaking the engine probably went out with a funny noise (my father couldn’t really describe it to me), of course on the holiday evening. Before that there were probably no engine problems. If you tried to start it the starter turns, but the noise is completely unfamiliar, would say higher pitch. Warning indicators etc. was no problem. I was told nothing about a warning lamp, only that the Tank was still about half full. Tow truck was there, now I would need some preparation for the workshop visit. Unfortunately, I found nothing like this about the search, either it starts from time to time or the starter no longer works. EDIT: They meant to me that the timing belt is still whole. Hello, wanted to ask for your experience with seat upholstery. Has someone used this alcantara-like upholstery for a long time. Would have concerns about soiling this upholstery. At home we also have a fabric cover and after a few years it is not as good as it was at new purchase. On the Renault homepage this Teflon coating of this fabric is praised, but I don’t trust it. What do you think about it. Unfortunately there are the Dyna mique equipment category no longer so that in case of a new order on the Bose version you can only order with this Alcantara upholstery. Was actually always satisfied with a normal conventional upholstery with my cars and would not want this with the Bose edition. LG

Greetings to everyone here, I came across this forum via Google and hope someone can help me. My Renault Megane 1.4 16v year 2002 started spinning yesterday while driving. He ran with one time as if only 3 cylinders run. In the stand lies the rotary zal at about 500 revolutions. Have looked today a bit: -All 4 cylinders run (although he sounds like on 3 pötten and also takes as bad gas) -No oil in the water -No water in the oil I don’t know how else I know I had a car there because of a defective candle a cylinder failed and it ran then only on 3. It feels the same way with the Megane, but all cylinders run ( hilarious). Has anyone had an idea or this problem already? Lg Nino

Hello experts, I was yesterday at the TÜV and it criticized the following: -brake disc front excessive wear (21,8 predetermined, measured: 21,5mm) -brake disc rear: excessive wear (6.5 predetermined, measured 5,9mm) -brake pads rear: cut-off measure reached or below -spur bar left & right The workshop (ATU) has made the following offer for the work: Material: brake disc 2x, track rod head 2x, track rod 2x and other material = 730€ Wage: 35 0€ I’m absolutely not a technician, can change the car battery, but that’s it, that the brakes are important, is it clear to me! That with the costs has knocked me down and therefore the question to you, is the price fair? What do I have to pay attention to when reproducing?
