Hello people, since yesterday I am now the owner of a Megane GT Privilege 2.0 dci 🙂 . Since in the “Privilege”-equipment variant (the top equipment here in Hungary is called) as well as everything is included (e.g. NS, Tempomat, Bordcomp., rain/light sensor, autmo. Handsfree KeyCard, el. FH v+h, u.v.m.), there is not much room for extras (and money), therefore only: – black metallic – 17″ Alu “Steppe” – Audio Connection Box for MP3 & I-pod Next week the rear panes with foils are still darkened (unfortunately here in eastern Hungary to avoid curious views into the vehicle interior – thief protection), after that I will be able to put in a few photos if desired. Now to my question: In the first privilege variant I have to contain autom. foldable outside mirrors, however, my mirrors do not fold over when closing the vehicle. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use all the settings of the Hungarian.

Help with buying a used renault megane cc
Hello you love… a well-known one of me recently bought a renault megane cc and I was allowed to do a splash tour with her last week.. fell in love with the car right away, because it looks really nice (open and closed by the beautiful panorama roof) it offers enough space if you want to transport something bigger (then the roof just stays closed!), he lets himself drive great and can be very well connected with my price budget.. have already looked around me now and got closer to the cars with approx. 20000-40000km, build year 2005 up now I have however a few questions: 1. can someone give me information about common faults that often occur? 2. does someone know if this model of the diesel is worth more (runs often but not above average much)? would be nice if you can advise me when buying something.

Renault Scenic: such a scrap
once wanted to know how other Renault owners are doing with their Scenic ́s: Have a BJ 2004, almost 6 years, and have had € 6400 in repair costs in the last 4 months, that’s a third of the new purchase value. At first, with 80,000 km, the conrod bearings were broken (€ 4000), (which even surprised the workshop manager of my Renault workshop so much that he managed a repair of € 1000 on Kulanz), then brake hoses (€ 200, I was almost happy there), now air conditioning, steering rods, shock absorbers front and rear and engine suspension (€ 2200). Of the fact that the return detectors in rain and in winter give up my mind because wetness penetrates (“my” workshop manager says, the replacement does not really pay off, the new ones are also not denser), the electric locks go only occasionally and my board computer tells me all the holy times, that I should urgently go to service because that and that doesn’t work at all. The car is such a scrap that I almost understand, the unknown my plate has written about me.

Megane OT Geber or – why is the car industry so bad?!
Hello people. Here’s an example of why the German car industry is going bad. Have a megane and had problems with starting when it is warm. I am to Renault (Munich – the big one, on the ring which is called like the 3 German cities, which are e.g. on the Main or on the Oder). After 5 minutes the nice gentleman with the small electronic device in my hand told me that it is almost safe the OT dealer (crank wave sensor) is. Surely after a large reading from the error memory, which costs quite exactly 50 euros.) If it was then the OT dealer should be, the repair including a new OT dealer with exchange would cost about 300-350 euros. To the facts: The part can be bought from 19 euros(!) and of course new, to replace one needs a ten key and about 3 minutes time! – someone who is a little more skilled needs about 1 minute. There are exactly 2 very well accessible screws and a plug, which you have to plug over.

Megane Coupe, the better Scirocco?
Hello. Actually, I wanted to write in the upper-level Renault main forum, but since I stumbled over an organ-colored Megane Coupe in search of an EU-Import car, we can do it right here. A Frenchman? Doesn’t come to me on the farm, so the opinion of the owner of an EU-Import car house in the place. And also otherwise, Landauf, Landab……….they have constantly electronic problems. Okay, until I read a positive message from the ADAC some time ago that the Renaults have increased in value and durability. You certainly also drove cars of other brands. What is your opinion about the quality of the Renaults according to today’s stand? Above all in terms of processing quality (folding, creaking in the interior) rust provisioning……gaaaananz important topic etc. May give differences from dealer to dealer, but basically, is the Renault customer service to the buyer sympathetically or is this rather a dark chapter?

Hello, after careful consideration I will stay with my Renault Megane CC for the time being, also because the problem with the constant flickering of the xenon light has finally solved itself (three times-on-wood-knock…). However, he gets (Spanish-red, stainless and without dents or deeper scratches) a fresh cell cure in the form of a full foliation on the color matt-black. Now I have already inquired a little and also in my vicinity two relatively good workshops, which would make the folation. However, both with a foil of 3M (with guarantee of 3 years). I have now read on a forum page that some probably use ORAFOL films, because these would be supposedly more durable (up to 7 years)? If I am ready to invest now, then I would also like to have more than 3 years of it… Does any of you have any experience with foling in general and with the two slides? Errors do not disappear after replacement of parts: throttle valves, suction tube pressure sensor, temperature
my Renault Megan 2 Convertible 2004 Gasoline spins correctly and I wanted to ask if it is a known problem (perhaps in the wire harness or similar??) The following errors are present: throttle valve (code 1592) Suction tube pressure sensor (261) and coolant temperature sensor, in the tach leaks check injection and ESP / ASR defective Suction tube pressure sensor and temperature sensor replaced with new parts, both errors immediately reappear after loesching. Drossel flap I ordered, the but old opens up quite well and the vehicle doesn’t move and runs clean. Only when starting it doesn’t always start from the first time. Is something similar known?

Petrol, 1.6 l. 82 kW / 111 hp: vehicle does not start, workshop does not find faults
Hello, our Scenic 2 (Bj 2007) makes life difficult for us. -much text- I hope that someone here can give at least tips or has an idea. About 3-4 weeks ago we were at the TÜV and after that the problem or a long illness broke out probably definitely. The engine does not start. The starter orils continuously, the car does not work. Workshop arrived him and after many attempts he went on. The spark plugs were replaced. The car jumped on it as before. 2 days e no longer later. Important at this point: It is not a reliable start. If you start the vehicle then you have to tap the accelerator pedal. If you don’t, it goes out 50% again (only in the cold start). If you tap it briefly, it purrs like a kitten. We have now been doing this for about 1 year. He went on instantaneously once, once he has nailed 2-3 seconds. However, he was always at the first attempt. Again at Renault called and “battery” as diagnosis. The starter didn’t work either. Called again “Remote diagnosis not possible, bring by” Our free workshop finally picked him up and gave us a devastating answer today: “We can’t find the problem”. They had charged the battery for a short time, which he went on for a short time, but not again after that. So it was a “happy jumper” over the last week and felt 100 start attempts he went on twice. But immediately after less than 1sec w The error memory last week was empty. It was already read out after it was already fetched. Still short basic data that comes to mind spontaneously: Since this day it can no longer be started by brake/start button, but only by clutch. If you try it with the brake is always “put in empty run”. An error message that we did not know before. I don’t know if this is related. I just wanted to mention it. Renault Megane III RS -> Power cable for power amplifier installation
Hello dear Renault fans, I have bought a Renault Megane RS 250 CUP. Unfortunately, this one has only one standard system. I still have a power amplifier, a subwoofer and the necessary accessories from my old vehicle. I would have built this system already long ago, but I don’t know how best to get from the car battery into the interior without drilling etc. I’ve already searched the inet but found nothing suitable.
