  • Spark plugs for 2008er 1.6er Scenic 2

    Hello; I did a great service on the weekend (oil, air and internal filters, spark plugs) on the 2008 1.6 Scenic 2 taken over by the parents-in-law. Now it happens that in the not yet warm operating condition in the 2nd and 3rd gear he takes bad gas and slightly “jumps”. After that it runs again perfectly. At the OBD II it shows me on “misfires on one/several cylinders”. My previous car was a Mitsubishi Carisma GDI – and since there Iridium spark plugs are mandatory, I thought I would do something good to the Frenchman and buy him Bosch Iridium spark plugs.   • Scenic 2 Cold start petrol odour low performance

    Hello, I’ve had the following problem with my Scenic 2,Bj.2/2004.1.6/16v 113hp.80000km for a few days.Have had a long time (about 1year with the previous owner).Drive the car since 05/2018.Motor K4M 782: -after cold start in the morning(Kfz stood overnight) it smells after a few meters drive for petrol (no ventilation) and car takes on bad gas (accelerated weakly) as if some hp is missing. After approx.500m drive performance ok and no petrol odor further. 4 spark plugs and 4 ignition coils have already been exchanged.L auftfilter, oil change recently. Uses hardly any oil. Petrol consumption not remarkably high. No error message in the display. Could the injection nozzles be (undicht)? Where can I look for the error? Thanks for notes

    Hello together, I have the following problem, which only occurs sporadically: If I blink to the right, my flasher doesn’t work at the back right. For this, both tail lights and the 3rd brake light flash in the clock. If I also press the brake, then it flashes very quickly with a clack. On the left, everything works. If I drive with active cruise control and then flash to the right, for example, the cruise control will turn off to change track. ngen… Probably it’s a mass problem. There are a few threads about it. And since this only occurs sporadically, I still couldn’t find regularity, I think that a cable is either loose or possibly broken/knocked. The question is, where do I start searching? Is the problem at the back of the back light or possibly at the flashstock lever? Or quite somewhere else? I was in the workshop, there was the first one to switch the flasher bulb, without success. it, it will be an electronic problem. In the car is so much electronics installed, this makes the search difficult…. Great statement… I want to avoid that now one wire harness/component after the other is changed to good luck.   • Megane 2, installation location: solenoid valve camshaft control

    Hi together, I’m really in need, so here’s a topic, especially with this question. I have a 2003′ Megane 2 with the error code and reference to the camshaft sensor. It’s changed, problem still exists. Means: – If the car is cold and runs in the stand, it goes out after 5-10 sec. – if I give gas to keep it on… does it listen to itself very unevenly (light dropouts?!) -Zündspulen are i.o. ..ABER, as soon as he has driven warm, the problem no longer exists. I have b ereits on another opened topic hung up and unfortunately get no answer, now here the direct question:Further error can also be the solenoid valve of the camshaft control. Where does this sit? Is it the round part, which sits on the top of the engine block, left next to the ignition coil of the 4th cylinder? If yes, can one remove it without hesitation and clean it?   • Cooling water boils- Workshop means cylinder head gasket R19

    Moin! I bought a Megane 3 1,5dci Bj 2015 quite exactly one year ago with just under 53tkm. Since January the following had to be renewed: -Battery(according to the friendly one this is now the one that lasts only 4 years) -Gas valve -Brakes -Air conditioning had to be filled up because empty Now was opened to me that the shock absorbers are already through! In addition, the radio spins constantly and the rear passenger disc clatters(some times were friendly but to heu no improvement despite updates) Current driving performance 82tkm. Vehicle was driven 3 years by a retired woman and for a year by me.I only drive the federal road therefore I wonder about the shock absorbers.Do you find the mass of defects normal for the age??

  • electr. window driver side does not work

    Hello together. I have been the owner of a used Renault Megane I built in 1999. I am very satisfied with the car and now I want to dedicate myself to the defects that I have taken over in the sense. And indeed the electric window does not work on the driver’s side. I have read that in harmless cases it might only be the switch or that the contacts could be messed up, in the worst case the complete unit?!?! I have on the Internet now search for appropriate instructions, because I wanted to check first if the contacts on the switch/cable could be fault. Unfortunately I can not get very far. I can only check out the storage as in picture 1 and then pull off the corresponding cables (picture 2/3). After that you should actually be able to push out the two switches?!?! But with me the switches unfortunately are bomb-proof. The red switch (picture 2) is for the switch of the driver side and the brown plug it for the switch for the passenger side (this switch works by the way). Did I do anything wrong with the dismantling??? Does it matter that the red plug is only 4-pin and the brown 6-pin? Unfortunately, I have no schematics or any manual. I also lack suitable tools to measure currents or similar. However, I have already provided myself with a can of WD-40, in the hope that it will help me with the problem. I hope her k Can help me.
