Dear community, have received the following offer from my workshop (ATU): Inspection (vehicle approx. 160,000km) for approx. 225 EUR should keep the following change: – Oil/oil filter; – Brake fluid; -Zündkerzen; – Pole filter; I will certainly have the air filter changed immediately, there would be something more to think about. But basically? What do you think about the price? Is that okay? Is the scope of the inspection ok or is something missing? Would I be happy about your experience values? … Greetings Jens

Electrical problem Renault Scenic 2
Hello, I wanted to measure the voltage the other day at my Renaul Scenic 2 year 2007 on the power supply of the radio. Then I probably came with a measuring tip from the plus – on the minus pole and caused a short circuit. I heard it click near the two fuse boxes and thought the radio security was through. Then I noticed that the display panel with tacho etc. also did not go. I looked at the fuses in the interior. Then I started the engine and wanted to see if the display might work. However, it remained dark. After I switched off the engine, it didn’t start anymore and now only starts the blower in the interior when I press the starter button. Also on the radio there is no voltage anymore. And also other things like the adjustment of the center console no longer work. My guess is now that in the UCH box in the Mo However, I wanted to ask if someone has a hint about what that might be. Since you can get to the box there quite well***en. Does anyone have an idea? I am grateful for any help. MfG. Thomas

Expand drive shafts
Hello, to each other, I want to change the clutch and have to remove the drive shafts. To the left I started, the axle leg completely outside, the coupling rod and steering as well as the ABS sensor and the RADNABENMUTTER from the axle leg. I thought that when I put light blows with the rubber hammer on the axle cone, while I pull the spring leg away from the gear, the whole shot comes. Somewhere I read that there should be something glued depending on the BAU YEAR. What do I have to do to release the shaft from the armpit? What do I have to do to pull it out of the gearbox? Gear oil is already drained. I am now going to the right side and hope for answers. Thank you Markus

Right exterior mirror
Hello, everybody. Someone made me the right exterior mirror kaput (vandalism, as it looks like). Mirror glass and turn signals are still ok, but the connection of mirror housing to the mount on the vehicle is broken, the housing hangs almost only on the wires.Of course, all-round does not pay (500€ excess), so I am interested in getting away as cheaply as possible. The workshop, which the insurance (although it does not pay) has given me (workshop binding) an offer made, in which the mirror including shell (but without indicator and glass) costs 215 € net (i.e. approx. 255 € gross). With different manufacturers, however, there is this mirror already from approx. 65 € e.g. https://www.autoteiledirekt.de/van-wezel-7147542.html And even the two original parts I get for 90 € gross less. But the above mentioned workshop may not install “replacement parts”. Only original, even if it were from a scrap car. Unfortunately I did not find the latter. Allegedly, because “replacement parts” from third-party manufacturers often don’t fit well. My contract workshop/dealer would install everything to me, but “without warranty and liability”. What would you recommend to me? Nevertheless, take a cheap replacement and let it be installed? Is there experience with the different manufacturers? Wan Wenzel PRASCO ABAKUS ALKAR BLIC TYC HD others? Original parts from the Internet?https://www.der-replacement parts-profi.de/article/outside mirrors-a1045554https://www.der-replacement parts-pr ofi.de/…/…uer-aussenspiegel-a1045520 The same applies to the dealer’s installation. Or should I have it done at the insurance company? for 255 (+ installation and painting fas over 380€). Thank you for every tip! Servus Harald

1.9 dCi 75 kW: On incline suddenly on control lamp (rectangle with sawtooth, including heating spiral
Hello municipality. I got myself a Scenic l, phase ll, Bj 2000 a few days ago. He is motorized with a 1.9 deci, 75 Kw and now has around 230,000 on the clock. At the time of the inspection I could not notice any big defects. He jumped immediately, ran calmly and was dry as a whole. Daa problem then occurred during the transfer: every time a slope came up suddenly a control lamp went on (rechteck with sawtooth, among them heating spiral) and the car was only running up to just over 2000 tours and was doing dicle baking at 100 km/h. On a flater road the whole thing happened again. What can be Yer Fwhlwr? Other places I got gwleaen, the lamp would be for the engine electrics and someone who had the same problem wrote, it came after the win Turbo was changed and the new loader built up too much pressure at Vollast. Did anyone ever have this phenomenon here? Can it be the turbo or something else? I am for every one of them. E help grateful. MfG, Jörg.

Every year oil change?!
Moin, I have a km performance of about 20tkm a year. Last year in December, I made maintenance A + B including oil change. The board computer shows still 13tkm mileage until the oil change due. The workshop now thinks that it would have to do A + B again this year, because Renault clearly prescribes: With a mileage of > 15tkm a year it has to be done like this. You can of course also do it without oil changes at my request, only then there is no mobility g What do you think about it? Why do I have the ad in the board computer when I give away almost 10tkm every year?

RDKS at Megane 3 Bj 2014 and no sensors available?
Hello dear Renault-Forengemeinde, the following problem almost drives me crazy. My wife and I have now finally received our new Megane Grandtour. We ordered the car at the beginning of April and at that time there was no talk of the RDKS, even when we were told that the delivery would be delayed (probably because of the RDKS). Now to the actual Probelm. Three days before delivery we learned that we no longer use our old set of winter tyres because of the RDKS. At the same time, the dealer and a workshop master told us that there are currently no sensors for the RDKS and when available. We got the advice to drive with summer tires or to have the 17 inch light alloy rims put on winter tires. We then drove to our tyre dealer and told him the problem. He said there was no problem there universal sensors that were 99% compatible. the universal sensors are simply cloned the IDs of the original sensors, which are located in the delivery tires and thus the RDKS recognizes no difference. Has everything worked wonderfully and the tires were immediately recognized by the RDKS and the air pressure is displayed correctly. One day later comes the message ” Check tire sensors ” the sensors were no longer detected by the system. The next day the universal sensors were programmed again. One day later the gl Our tyre dealer is really trying very hard to find a solution. A week later he asked Renault again, but sensors are not allowed to be sold because they cannot be learned to the vehicle. New sensors should be available at the end of December at the beginning of January, but I can ask every 14 days. Incidentally, the problem with the original sensors should affect all Renault workshops. That can’t be true what happened at Renault in the mo Is there any problem with the sensors for the RDKS here in the Renault Forum and maybe already has a solution? Would I be very pleased if someone could help me further and would thank you in advance. I would like to thank you very much if you could help me in the future.
