What do you need to know about this? We have a Renault Captur EZ 11/2013. About Christmas we were on the road for a few days with our Womo and after our return we wanted to go shopping with the Captur. Didn’t jump on. That was on 5.1.2015. Call in the workshop, which meant first: Certainly the battery!! So charger hung up and the battery fully charged. Tuesday – with us holiday – tried again, it still didn’t. So Wednesday in the workshop called and they got him. After we then in the afternoon called, it was: The starter is defective. Then for quite a long time nothing happened until we asked for a workshop replacement car. Mobility guarantee from Renault. That was then already a problem, because they have just registered a Clio fresh, but with summer tires. Well, if we have an accident then u.U., we can not bear a share? because of the tires ?? So then again I have to call the Renault customer service in Brühl and ask for help. Then we have now the car – with winter tires. Our car is so since 7.1. 2015 can not be taken from the workshop? Do not deliver something?

Gearbox spins
Hello you love, I got myself 4 weeks ago a Renault Captur (Automatic,(2014) ) , the 2 day after delivery he started to spin , that is , while the ride he jumps from D in N and it goes no more in the info then check gear . Then the car has to be turned off , and after one or 2 minutes everything goes again , and then everything goes off again , no matter what time range , or driven distance . When the car stood overnight and I am off the road the next morning , was also first everything good , but then the error happened again on the afternoon . Now he was 4 weeks in the workshop and they could find nix , the error also occurred at those during the test drive , but at the read out was found nix . I found him since Saturday again and it also ran everything , now I wanted to drive up the federal road , and at the speeding up the same problem as 4 weeks ago , gear just switched on , but at the test drive was not able to help , and the car got eight , and it looked like a new , then again , I was waiting for me again .

Deficiencies in the seat
Hello dear forum, my father bought a new car in 04/19, Renault Captur. After only a few months he noticed that the reference from the seat looked very damaged and used more and more, although the car was rarely driven and that in “normal” clothes, i.e. not in work clothes from the construction industry or the like. After not even 6,000km, and about 1 year after the purchase, was then changed by the resident dealer, the reference from the seat at the expense of the car dealer / Renault. Well, not even 1,000km and only 4 months later, the new reference is now as damaged as the previously exchanged one. Do you know this problem and have experience in this regard? What measures could one insist on from the side of the car dealership? I hope someone can help. Pictures in the appendix.

Engine damage Renault Captur
Hi we have a captur from 2014 with now 76k km on the speedometer. Now the car has been standing for 3 weeks in the workshop – with the result engine damage, because cooler fluid got into the engine…. Car was always in the inspection, last March 2020, then Corona and a few kilometers and then 3 weeks ago super GAU. Renault refers to the 3 years warranty and wants to do nothing… I find inconspicuous. Now the question: it is a 90 hp engine diesel – to me now someone offers a 110 hp engine… can you install the simply (technically) so or you have to consider what? Has someone experience with engine damage – I think this is a design error, car was very gentlely driven and treated. Can you expect from Renault what?? First registration May 2014 Type approval 1RB8 54 We have the engine: K9K-608 (D282735) This is offered to us:K9K-646 (K9K-F6)

Renault Captur TCE 120 Automatic – Gearbox Problems
Hello – with my captur at just under 63Tkm in the last 5 days have stayed 2 times. Both times the automatic transmission has been on strike, while the ride on the highway in D suddenly appears on the cockpit display N, engine howling up and that was it. After that the vehicle can no longer start, no gear change, only to tow off. At Renault has been tested, control unit of the transmission reprogrammed and learned – of course against payment – with zero result, remained today and had to be towed off – a high on the ADAC! Have already contacted Renault in Brühl that the vetrauen in the mill is absolutely gone. That nothing finds itself in the error memory of the control units, is not really positive to me! Has ever experienced such a similar thing or an idea, what should go on here or what one should look at., the Werstatt is without advice, the cable tree has been tested and found for good. My trust is gone. Rejoice me about positive and helpful feedback from the community!!

Renault capture window lifter problem
Hi I’m new here …. It’s about a Renault Captur bj.2013 Have there ever been a question of window lifter function driver’s side…. During the ride, the disc suddenly goes down… Is fun when it’s raining… Can’t be driven up again for a short time… takes a few seconds… and you can either pull the switch up or push down and the disc drives up… My wife drives the car…. Did I have a switch removed… I drove to Renault to buy new switch 37 Euro ca … In time my wife comes from work… Window lifter has gone down again… And that without switch..????????? And that’s what again a rod money cost … what I didn’t see the car from 2013 so slowly one should know the sources of error from this vehicle?????? Renault says of course? first we have to look for the error and replace different parts? What of course a rod money cost … what I didn’t have to see the car from 2013? but what on the driver’s side?? What is it all?

Renault Kadjar – Your experience with the car
I hope for experience, exchange, suggestions, criticism, praise, etc about the Renault Kadjar! I myself drive a Renaut Kadjar, experience, plus all packages, gasoline, first registration July 2017. After about 9000 KM I can draw a first intermediate conclusion. Very annoying was that always creaking noises from the dashboard were heard, from the direction of the glove compartment. Renault workshop of course too stupid to get rid of that…. but the man himself is: lower hinges in the had shoe compartment neatly greased and left and right the locking mechanism with felt glued pieces… and rest is, apart from quite occasional “temperature cracking”, but that’s normal I think. Otherwise, the Kadjar is a super car, the gasoline engine and the seats are absolutely top, the vebrauch lies so between 7 and 8.3 liters, depending on the driving distance and way…. which I consider to be ok. After setting off the knarzerei I can only recommend the car, the first to buy the groovy of the Renault workshops. But I can say something about the company.

Side window passenger door bursts suddenly while driving
Car wheel on the passenger side burst suddenly when driving on the A23 at 100 km/h the right lane. Added highway police Elmshorn determined no external fault but material errors or disc with too much tension originally installed. Thousand small glass parts flew in the interior and exterior parts damaged the paint up to the rear wheel. Luckily no passenger was sitting in the car. The car was bought new, 2.5 years old and a Renault Kadjar. Question: Has this happened to you already? Will probably with Renault and the insurance Verti have a dispute who pays something.

Brake discs at the Renault Kadjar
Hello, have a Renault Kadjar BJ 15 drove 37000km without any problems up to now. So I am 65 years rather the cozy driver. When changing tyres in Nov. I noticed that the disc brakes are quite finished and also in the workshop they told me in the summer 2020 at the next inspection you have to change the ones.. I was quite surprised that the discs have driven down so. Are the discs too soft or the blocks too hard or whatever!!! New discs are available from many manufacturers from very cheap to very expensive.. Now my question…what would be recommended to me… and no it is not my driving method!!! Mfg
