  • Retrofit Renault Trafic II Evado air heater

Dear community, I need your help again. As in the description, I have a Renault-Trafic Evado II with a second battery under the driver’s seat. I want to retrofit an air heater. I really want to mount it outside. The effort between inside and outside seems similar. Outside, however, I have the advantage of saving space and possibly hearing less noise. I think I prefer to operate it with fresh air, not in circumferential air operation. n should of course be permanently installed, for a mobile installation would probably rather offer itself inside. I need an approved heating. I found this here: https://www.g-part.de/LF-Bros-E50-3KW-12V-Kit-EU-Version The well-known manufacturers are after all again considerably more expensive. If I would install them in mobile, however, can I also take the 100€ China-Dinger or what is your opinion about it? But also in this case I would have to drill through the base plate n to remove the exhaust gases directly and to tap the diesel feed, because I can only transport closed spare canisters, right? Now I have some general questions: Has any of you ever installed a heater in the Trafic in the one or other variant (where, like air supply/disposal, diesel feed) and can possibly help me with some photos (where I would of course ask even more specifically, WHAT interests me)? Of course there are already many contributions and endlessly he forums, I know. I am particularly interested in Evado, because it seems to be installed from the factory INNNEN, but with many other models more often outside – at least I have the feeling. I would be interested in two things in particular: When I drill through the floor plate (rail system), do I have to take out the floor covering first? How do you let the air flow into the passenger compartment during outdoor installation? Do you have an extra nozzle installed? Where? I thank you for your opinions. Greetings and a good day to you! • Kangoo, 2006 – doesn’t start anymore

Hi there, I hope that the ignorant will help me a little bit further. Back from shopping, I wanted to start the car again: key plugged in and turned a little on the steering wheel to unlock the steering wheel lock. Strangely, this only happened with considerable effort, I was afraid to break out the key in the plastic shell. Then the car jumped on and I started. Still on the parking lot at the front right in the engine room a noise noticed bar. Since my wife and I had a bad time, I drove on with this sound without stopping about three kilometers. I arrived at the kindergarten, I exhibited the engine and took a look into the engine room. But there was obviously nothing to see, which pointed out a defect. Only then the car did not start. Interior lighting, radio, light – everything so far in order. The starter does not make a sound of itself, there is only such a quiet “surr With the help of two neighbors the car was pushed on and started – we could at least drive home. During this trip there were no “side noises” to hear and everything went well. Now the car is standing here at our door, I have zero plan, what it could be – and hope for your help. For this already before a “thank you”. Should details be missing, I will gladly deliver them with a hint of course.

  • Kangoo 1.6 16V, motor fixed, timing belt problem ;-(

Hi, good evening I wish together;-) Ride a Kangoo 1.6 16V 95hp from 03/2002. Therefore it should be a K4M engine. He has 165tkm and it is the 2nd or 3rd timing belt in it which was changed in 2013! Today the following happened to me ;-( Cozy driving, at once cats have died in the engine room and car. Hood on and V-belts inspected, partly dissolved but still on it. Car started again and remained on with some gas. Had only 6km b Is I at home know, because it was in my opinion only about the V-belt I thought, I still come back so. Because of it, was a misjudgement ;-( after 3km at 50km/h at once completely stopped and motor blocked. (feeled) V-belts however still partly on it. Can it be now that the V-belt has placed the timing belt and I have a bigger problem???? Experience according to piston through or only valves crooked? Would you like to do everything yourself, no matter w I have already read that one needs a special tool for the camshaft wheels from the other side to block, otherwise the wheels can be damaged! (Tool I would then build myself) Crankshaft will probably be blocked by a pin where a M8 screw is replaced on OT? Bzw. How would you first proceed to the damage assessment;-) Thanks already a thousand times in advance;-);-)

  • Cooling water loss on the front cover of the camshaft

Hello, I would need your swarm intelligence. My vehicle loses water, it collects directly under the front cover of the camshaft. I couldn’t find a damp spot above the lid, so I can rule it out from above. However, in my opinion, no water can come out there. A camshaft is not cooled after all. Since we have been having bad weather for a few days, I don’t want to lie down and unscrew the lid. Have the water cleaned dry and it immediately collected again on the red seal (red pile). What is the “cover” (yellow arrow) where the front cover is screwed on it? Do I have the hope that I did not look correctly and the water came from there. Unfortunately, this only came to my mind afterwards so that I am not sure what is installed there. Is this the cover for the timing belt or control chain? Does cooling water run through at the place? That would probably be a too big construction site for me in the weather. I would like to thank you for your efforts Many greetings Christian

  • Starting difficulties 1.6 dci 120

Hello guys, I drive a Fiat Talento Year 2019 with a 1.6 dci 120. Approx. 7000km/year, Lot 10-25km short distance, annual oil change. Km-Stand: 38000 Since the beginning he needs a few commemorative seconds to start. Starting must be felt cleanly timed, otherwise the eternal org would be. Ignition on -> Preglow -> +-2 seconds after losing the light bulb -> Turn key -> Starts immediately Do not only turn the starter for 2-10 seconds without “Zündung” or “Ruckeln” “. Sometimes the second, third attempt comes to short “destinations”, but it doesn’t start. It always seems to me as if he didn’t get a diesel. Now he stood over the Christmas time for a few days and started really bad. Starter turned as known evenly, but it didn’t work. No “destination” for 2x 6 seconds. At the 3rd attempt he went on after +-5 seconds, but went off when starting. After that he delivers error-free. Have you heard of something like that and vie Easy advice for me? Thanks Greeting Timo

  • Renault Trafic 3 Emergency braking system

Hello, I actually drive a Nissan Primastar Tekna 2023, but is identical to the Renault Trafic 3 from 2022. I miss the emergency braking system. The Tekna equipment should have it ex factory according to chassis number is also installed, only seen or at least the warning in the cockpit what should appear according to manual or intervene missing any track. Due to quite provoking or even 2 times almost accident I have never seen the system after almost 20000km. Neither warning nor intervention. r Bus is now standing at the Nissan/Renault dealer has both is in contact with Nissan and Renault. According to him, the system is definitely installed and should work. What is it like with you? Ever seen at least once the warning in the cockpit? Would I be very pleased about information

  • Renault Kangoo KW 1.6 petrol 106 hp / 78 kW 2009 – 2024 K4M 830 radio exchange

Hello dear people. I would exchange the radio with the above model. The exchange radio comes from a Grand Kangoo and has the following name: 281150213R AUDIOSYSTEM / RADIO-CD / 1123402 FOR RENAULT KANGOO / GRAND KANGOO II The old radio, which had worked well, however, also with steering wheel operation and the display in the cockpit had no hands-free system and also no Bluetooth. The old radio has the following names: RNR1DAA3086749 RENR1C101-00 TN0311183086749 Renault 2811 50 0 49R –C Now I have got an adapter, so the radio works fundamentally, but lacks the function of the hands-free system and the steering wheel control. Someone knows the pinout of the two models so that I can connect the canbus properly.

  • From where Renault Master II (Bauj. 2004) foreign start?

Hello, ( ) It is clear that the battery power is not enough for the diesel. However, it is annoying to open the access to the battery in order to start the car outside. It should be possible to start the car from the engine room. But all “experts” (div. workshops, breakdown aids etc.) have found no way to do so. I can’t imagine that it is really like that. As an alternative, I thought about a cable from the battery that is between the driver/passenger seat is located below the floor plate, ( ) to put in the footroom, in order to be able to log there if necessary to start. I do not want to put a cable down into the engine compartment, because this would then be pulled a piece when the battery is disconnected.
