Moin-Moin in the Trafic II municipality, I have been driving an L1H1 dci-140 box since 09/2004. KM-Stand meanwhile: approx. 136,500 For some time I hear noises on the front axle from about 50 km/h. My friend is a bit difficult with the “fix himself” concerning the side. But he is sure that it probably comes from a wheel bearing! Now the question of like-minded: Does anyone have experience with wheel bearings/ hubs noises/repairs on the Trafic, Primastar or Vivaro? My observations: It’s starting at 50 KM/h, getting louder in right-hand curves than in straight or left-hand curves. I suspect the left side, as it is loaded more weight-wise with right-hand curves! What do you mean? And can I keep driving still? When is it slowing down? Overheating of the bearing. Would I be very pleased about your hints! MfG. jd.satman

Reliability Trafic
Hello all, I’m just thinking about buying a Trafic. Has come to the short choice because of and especially because of the place. I compared the Trafic with a VW bus but VW comes because of the price rather into the second choice. Now I have heard again and again Renault is unreliable ect you can then not sell the thing anymore because of the value loss etc…. I just need a few experience values of people who are traveling with the Trafic in everyday life and wi I would simply like to be informed of unbiased experiences. Who time pleasure and mood has me a few short lines to write, yes I would be very grateful for the help.

Kangoo 99 1.4l does not start after 5 days of service life
I don’t know what to do anymore. Short to the problem: Renault Kangoo just bought it the other day, wanted to rebuild it to transport scooters in it. Vehicle was supposedly running smoothly. Since the day before yesterday it no longer starts. Both keys tried out. Nix. Red lock lamp also goes off, shortly after switching on the ignition. So no mistake. My brother drives nen Twingo. After a tip from the forum I changed the OT-Geber, so from the Twingo into my Kangoo and around Nix. Twingo runs with both OT-donors and the Kangoo with none. Of course also cleaned plugs. Start pilot during the start process also did not bring any success. Also press the CRASH switch, did not bring anything. Bridging of course also not. Also checked all fuses… I unscrewed the spark plug on the first cylinder, plugged it in and held it against the cylinder. Then started, But he DOESN’T TELL!!! I don’t know if he gets fuel, but without ignition it works anyway. Does anyone have a COUNCIL??? Thank you

Timing belts
Hello everyone, have a question to the experts here in the forum. We have a Trafic, a real cargo ash. As it is our first delivery van, we are of course not so well versed. Our local workshop has taken over the maintenance. We did not know (ash about our head) that after 120000 km you have to change the timing belt. The workshop has always checked diligently RENAULT – WARDING in the booklet, so we assumed that the Trafic was properly maintained rde. Unfortunately, the workshop never made a change of timing belt, so that it is torn shortly before the lease return with all the consequences that affect the engine. Now the workshop blames us for this, because we never ordered this change. Now our question: doesn’t the workshop actually have to ensure that the car is properly guided through the inspection, especially since the execution of the RENAULT – WARTUNG has always been nicely confirmed? To your answer we are curious and thank you in advance. Versoline

Kango Kc01 Year 2005 Delfi engine control unit
Moin guys, I have a big problem with my Kangoo, the engine control unit has been broken for 2 weeks and is standing here at the local workshop in the yard. I am supposed to order my own parts because the workshop does not buy used parts bla bla and new ones would be simply too expensive and is not worth it any more. And now find a good solution to make the vehicle driveable again. I was told I need the engine control unit The box for the immobilizer and at least 1en Keys. Well, there are enough spare parts apparently, however, the key number doesn’t fit or there are not all needed parts with it. Now I’m quite frustrated here and I don’t get any further AND I’m not mobile. Can anyone help me with a possible good solution and possibly another idea? And all this because of a coffee… The number required is: 8200331477 (Delfi) Thank you

Vivaro / Trafic jerks heavily when starting
Moin. I deliberately wrote this here also because they are identical to the construction. The following problem. My Vivaro is jerking, or the engine is jerking at the start. That means, I start in the first, let the clutch come slowly and from a certain point the engine is jerking quite violently. The whole is almost gone after warm running phase or after about 20 km. In addition, the gears, the first and reverse gears go in quite hard, so not very heavy but quite so in. whether the clutch does not separate properly. It is the 2L with 6 gear bj 2011 Does anyone have an idea?

Retrofit Renault Trafic II Evado air heater
Dear community, I need your help again. As in the description, I have a Renault-Trafic Evado II with a second battery under the driver’s seat. I want to retrofit an air heater. I really want to mount it outside. The effort between inside and outside seems similar. Outside, however, I have the advantage of saving space and possibly hearing less noise. I think I prefer to operate it with fresh air, not in circumferential air operation. n should of course be permanently installed, for a mobile installation would probably rather offer itself inside. I need an approved heating. I found this here: https://www.g-part.de/LF-Bros-E50-3KW-12V-Kit-EU-Version The well-known manufacturers are after all again considerably more expensive. If I would install them in mobile, however, can I also take the 100€ China-Dinger or what is your opinion about it? But also in this case I would have to drill through the base plate n to remove the exhaust gases directly and to tap the diesel feed, because I can only transport closed spare canisters, right? Now I have some general questions: Has any of you ever installed a heater in the Trafic in the one or other variant (where, like air supply/disposal, diesel feed) and can possibly help me with some photos (where I would of course ask even more specifically, WHAT interests me)? Of course there are already many contributions and endlessly he forums, I know. I am particularly interested in Evado, because it seems to be installed from the factory INNNEN, but with many other models more often outside – at least I have the feeling. I would be interested in two things in particular: When I drill through the floor plate (rail system), do I have to take out the floor covering first? How do you let the air flow into the passenger compartment during outdoor installation? Do you have an extra nozzle installed? Where? I thank you for your opinions. Greetings and a good day to you! Kangoo, 2006 – doesn’t start anymore
Hi there, I hope that the ignorant will help me a little bit further. Back from shopping, I wanted to start the car again: key plugged in and turned a little on the steering wheel to unlock the steering wheel lock. Strangely, this only happened with considerable effort, I was afraid to break out the key in the plastic shell. Then the car jumped on and I started. Still on the parking lot at the front right in the engine room a noise noticed bar. Since my wife and I had a bad time, I drove on with this sound without stopping about three kilometers. I arrived at the kindergarten, I exhibited the engine and took a look into the engine room. But there was obviously nothing to see, which pointed out a defect. Only then the car did not start. Interior lighting, radio, light – everything so far in order. The starter does not make a sound of itself, there is only such a quiet “surr With the help of two neighbors the car was pushed on and started – we could at least drive home. During this trip there were no “side noises” to hear and everything went well. Now the car is standing here at our door, I have zero plan, what it could be – and hope for your help. For this already before a “thank you”. Should details be missing, I will gladly deliver them with a hint of course.
