Hello, I have a problem with my brakes. It is a Seat Cordoba Vario 6K2 Bj 1999. The process is already “several” years ago. About 4 years ago I exchanged the ABS control unit for the first time because water has penetrated into it for one from ebay. Built-in, driven to the dealer, coded (because beeped) everything ok. Almost a year later the same problem occurred again. So again some money invested and the control unit changed. This time however without Codi because I had to open a brake circuit I drove dirket to the dealer to vent the brake.. But from then on I have the following problem: When I drive about 100 km/h and I step on the brake at one stroke you notice how the ABS starts to work and regulates. But when I drive about 100 km/h and I brake first slowly and then I can step through the pedal to the ground and the tires do not want to touch It’s just too little braking power there. Even if I drive with several people in the vehicle.. I can step through the pedal to the ground. However, what you notice, the drum brakes tend to block rather than the front wheels. Today (about 2 years later) I was back in the workshop to see afterwards. I was changed again the brake fluid. The problem persists, but the brake is now a little better. After the Pr I went there and said that the problem still exists. They said whether the control unit was from a similar vehicle. I had to deny this. I drive a Seat Cordoba Vario. The control unit is from an Arosa. Then he said that there might be a problem with the EBV (electronic brake force distribution) and you have to encode it. For a 12 year old car they did not have any left… Can you help me further? Thanks already

Seat Inca1.9sdi doesn’t start. What can that be?
Hello, when I had to go with the car (Seat Inca) tonight he did not jump on. All control lamps go, also blowers etc. Vorglühlampe etc…. Then on the 2nd attempt he went on. But I wanted to be sure, because I drove a few meters up or to a mountain, turned off the engine, and again tried. Again nothing, had to wake up, therefore I had him roll short hand. Now my question: Is the starter that? That is broken? If I have the ignition Turn on the blower runs quite normal, as soon as I turn around the key to start the ventilation goes off ! Short circuit ? Mass cable of the battery I have already checked ! Today it was the first time colder at night, should certainly not be the battery ? Although I was running a track when the car ran, now again the same. So battery should have charged! Does the starter have a short, or defective ? Can it be anything else ? Thanks FG Marc

Seat Altea XL 1.4 TSI => Oil change after 1,000 KM?
Hello, I have a question about the general understanding: We recently added a new Seat Altea XL, 1.4 TSI with 92 KW for the lady of the house. The seller knew that it would be useful to carry out an oil change after about 1,000 KM. This would remove abrasion parts from the engine circuit and significantly reduce consumption. The vehicle currently consumes about 9.5 -10 liters… Another argument of the friendly was the uncertainty whether the SEAT plant could be sold all people with expertise surveyed so far have shaken their heads with these statements, what is the value of experience about the meaning and nonsense of this measure here in the forum?

One year is long, one year is turbulent. This applies to all areas of life, of course also to all experiences and events around your beloved motorized kit. But did you really love it all year round? Central locking lock me out
The search function unfortunately does not bring me to the target. My radio central lock no longer works. I can no longer unlock the vehicle (Ibiza BJ:200). Neither the radio remote control (which actually only uses) works, nor can I mechanically unlock with the key. Fortunately, I can open the trunk with the key. So I can at least get in/out from the trunk. If I sit inside and press the button in the door for locking/unlocking I have checked the fuses —-> all heal 2. All relays are pulled off and plugged in again —> none 3. Then I read here in the forum that it could be the ZV pump and that this should be the back right in the trunk —> so remove the carpet and look there, but I found neither on the right side, nor on the left side a ZV pump. Only the inside of the wheel box and the luf 4th car brought to the workshop today —> no error in the memory and found no error, it would have to be searched manually further. I picked up the car now first, because I can not do without it at the moment and can leave it for an indefinite time in the workshop and of course from fear of the costs that the “search” can cause. Does someone have an idea that brings me further or knows someone like me there a te il can bridge that the car at least unlocks? I prefer to have the doors open first and can not close than closed. Does the ZV run over a relay or where does the control sit for it? I can’t re-learn the radio key and the seat dealer could not do it either manually on the key or via the diagnostic device.

Diesel scandal and won action
Hello, does someone have experience of how long the settlement takes after a won lawsuit against VW for the diesel scandal? Our verdict was legally valid on 28.11.2020, since then we or our lawyer are waiting for VW to report. We have to expect approximately 25 euros, but it is now already 2 1/2 months and we hear nothing!? Our lawyer mine in December, that it can take some time, because of logistics problems etc. of VW, but at some point something would have to come Right? The lawsuit is interest-bearing, but the Fz has now been deregistered, stands in the way and a new one is coming soon! Maybe someone has had experience with a won suit or the settlement? MfG

Tank indicator Alhambra
Hello dear Seat municipality, my new Alhambra has a problem with the tank indicator. The workshop has already changed a part, but this has not been successful. The error is shown as follows: Suddenly, when about half the tank is empty, the indicator jumps to reserve when the ignition is switched on. It beeps and the reserve light shines. Now comes the phenomenon; the tank indicator now shows for km more to the correct level and then works completely Did any of you notice this problem on your Alhambra? I don’t think of a “hardware problem” but rather of a software problem. I am grateful for every tip. With a nice greeting.
