Seat Marbella – starts badly, engine Ruckelt while driving …
Hello, the following problem exists with my seat. After an almost endless lashing he starts at some point. First he drives reasonably, however, starts to jerk in the course of the ride, sometimes he even goes out completely and then jumps again after 5 minutes. I have already changed air filters, spark plugs, distributor cap and distributor runners. However, the problem persists. Does anyone have a tip on what it might be? Thanks Tom

Alhambra (NRW) dealer discount
Hello, as slowly as I look for replacement for my caddy. I basically have an alhambra in mind, where there is regular talk of high price reductions and thus he is again attractive and in the area of affordability. Therefore, here the question, where could you negotiate a good course within NRW? Especially the area NRW is interesting, if more precisely: room Unna/Hamm/Dortmund. Please no Internet mediators.

Function RDK tyre pressure control defective?? No display despite bursting tires!
Hi, was with the Alhambra for the first inspection. No mistakes, everything ok. Drive home, turn off the car, drive back and hoere and notice after a few km funny noises and bits jerked. Drive still bite further (speed 30 zone) gets worse and worse; turn off the car: mature completely broken; blanket already almost completely off…… rim but as if by a miracle still heals. otherwise also nothing broken. I am of course of the opinion that have in the workshop the mature where whipped up.. but the other topic. Why didn’t the RDK go to zero for a long time despite the loss of air? I talked to 3 people in the workshop: I should drive more than 5 km; sometimes faster; sometimes more pressure. I tried everything: several times filled up air, system resetts; drove and then drained air…. on several mature, short and longer (10 km) distance, sometimes faster, sometimes slower: System never went on!! Car should now again 1-2-3 days in the workshop( which bothers and even possibly on my Costs!!!). The RDK system would also indicate an error or system failure meant the workshop. But shows neither error nor air loss!! Someone a tip how I can test the system again? When and how IT MUST start 200%? Mfg benjamin

Seat pickup in the car town
Hello Seat friends, I have a question. My wife and I are about to order an Altea from us. Lt. various internet forums should be able to pick up his seat in the car town. Ours means that, however, only in connection with hotel overnight stays and that costs then plus the transfer costs again just under 500 euros extra. Is that true? I know that you save at VW at factory collection approx. 300 euros. I have that with the Seat then also before. Can someone help me? Look forward to contributions!

Gasoline or diesel?!
Hello! I’d like to buy the new seat ibiza soon. Only I don’t know which engine yet?! either the 105 ps diesel or the 85 ps petroler? drive a maximum of 20,000 KM in the year. About half of that car. I’m actually so the gasoline friend.. moreover, with me (Austria) the sprit currently costs equally much. and I heard that on the highway the consumption of both engines differs only by 1 liter, so diesel 1l more than gasoline. how does the ibiza travel with the two engines? motors so?? lg christoph

Change timing belts
Hello together, have a seat ibiza bj. 98 with 74kw petroler. My seat has now 105,000 km on it I once heard that you have to change the timing belt at the time, the previous owner is almost 100 percent sure that he has done this already at 75,000 km so it would not be necessary. Unfortunately he has no more invoice and therefore does not know exactly whether the timing belt was changed ( don’t ask me how you can not know exactly, so he told me, understand It doesn’t either). So if you want to ask questions, there is some way to see if the timing belt has to be changed or should I have it changed now. But if that’s true of the previous owner, he was changed at 75,000 km about 4 years ago. And as thick as I did as a student, I didn’t have the money to make it fun. Hope you can help me. Greetings Sina

Buying a new Alhambra – Crazy idea?
Moin! With a bottle of good French red I came up with a maybe crazy idea tonight: I plan to buy a Seat Alhambra in the 150 HP diesel version. I know that already very good discounts are possible at e.g. autohaus24.de. I would only like to use all possibilities. And so I came up with the idea to contact all 337 Seat dealers in Germany by e-mail to send me an offer according to my specifications. Question: Does that make sense or otherwise: Can I count on many offers? Bringing the e-mail addresses of the dealers together goes quite smoothly. Then enter a dealer in the address line, all the others under BCC. Then the first doesn’t know that I also wrote to all the others. Unless they do it like with Ford. Then I experienced the following: During the personal collection of an offer at the dealer A., who wrote down my name and the Angebo submitted to me t. When I called at dealers B and C they had me with the first offer of dealers A already in their computer system. So I don’t know if the planned procedure at the Seat Alhambra makes sense. This probably doesn’t leave a great impression if you catch up with 337 dealers an offer. On the other hand, I also have no money to give away. What do you think?

Search for coolant tube (replacement part)
Hello dear Motor Talk members, I need your help. At our Seat Alhambra (7593/AFJ) a coolant tube is rusted through and the car loses coolant liquid (currently not much, about 200ml/month). I wanted to renew the part and was already 2 (!) times in the Seat car house and they could not find the part in their system with these funny plans! First time it was said, come over with photos, then we can find the part already. The second time the photos did not help and even the boss was there, but unfortunately they could not identify the part. I was suggested to drive the car to the stage and start a search that would cost me at least a fifties. So to the competence and service of our Seat car dealership. Well, with a pipe piece, which probably does not cost even 20€… I don’t think I’m a single person on Earth who has the problem with the leaking coolant tube. Maybe someone already has so much 1. The Seat people broke at least to know where this coolant pipe comes from and where it goes. Only then can they (maybe) identify what part this is. 2. The best is point 1 and the name of the part. 3. Luxury would be to get the spare part number from the part. The coolant pipe (double version) is located around the drive shaft at the front right and is visible from below. You do not need to remove any panel. (see Fo.) tos) For the help I would be very grateful to you! P.S. I don’t know, but with the help of BMW catalogs I can always find every part for BMW, even small. At the Seat, however, the plans don’t seem to be exactly structured. Greetings

Rugging at the Alhambra Diesel
Hello forum, I drive a Seat Alhambra, 1.9 TDI pump nozzle, 2004 with 75,000km. For a few weeks I noticed when driving in the speed range of 1500-2000 tours that my car is jerking. The whole thing is independent of the speed and gear, the speed makes up. If you exceed the 2000 tours, the jerking is over. Can someone give me a tip what that can be? I have heard about a two-mass swing wheel? Can it be that? What symptoms would it have to occur if this is broken? Are there any culling rules with a four-year-old car? Who already has experience with such repairs. Maybe it’s also something else, but what can it be. If you get hot gas, then you don’t really burn it. But I can’t always give a sharp gas. Thanks for every hint. haprisi
