    Day people! Since I’ve just seen something like that in the VW Forum, I thought you could do it here. Your worst screwdriver mistakes. What’s wrong with you? I’ll start off. -Oil measuring rod broken (1.5 weeks to wait for replacement at Audi). -Car raised on one side when changing tyres with 2 jacks. Result: One slipped, nice dent in the threshold. -Motor hood closed even though someone else was standing under it. Now you! Greetings!

  • Calibra purchase tip / recommendation?!

    Hello, as the title already says, I want to get an OPEL Calibra. The choice has been made between VW Corrado or Calibra. Only for the summer to drive. But no broken and grounded or disfigured!! Only in the original condition!! I wanted to get some opinions, on the topic of year of construction, motorization, error sources, rust susceptibility / special rust points, which should be taken into account besides the normal reviews of a used one, etc … Maybe times noc h some information about consumption and so … Thanks!!!

  • The Calibra design

    Hi guys, something interesting happened to me the day before yesterday: 16:30, after-work evening, city motorway ascent Berlin-Stubenrauchstraße, American work colleague (who is also a small sports car/coupe fan, but is more familiar with American and Japanese cars – in America he drove a made 91 or 92 Supra with a good 300 HP) on board. Suddenly he says “Hey, look at us, also a Calibra, only in grey and dirty…” … I look more closely and tell him “Nee, that It’s not a Calibra, it’s a BMW 8 coupe.” When the BMW turns in front of us, my colleague also recognizes the Bavarian roots and thinks that BMW and Calibra have an immense resemblance from behind. So far, I have only read about this resemblance in contemporary magazines, but even car-loving people confuse them, is new to me. What do you think about this?   • Calibra Last Edition… to hit!?

    Hi, the Calibra has always been my dream car and just now there is one at the dealer: 12.97 EZ Last Edition in dark green, leather, climate, BBS Alus etc. so just the standard equipment of the LE. 120.000knapp down (unfortunately only the X20XEV) signposted with full warranty, TÜV/AU, full fuel etc. pp. for 5200€, so I still think pushable to 4500-4700€ since I have already bought 5 cars there in the last years. The only drawback: I have a new car that is just over 1 year old (Astra) -H Caravan)…but he would certainly take it back. That shouldn’t fail…the place in the station wagon I give up for such a beautiful car with a good conscience. Now to my questions: – Finn has a nine in the Fgst-No.? – What to say about the X20XEV…good care = very robust? – I think with one of the really very last models there should be no technical problems with child diseases or? Rust should also not be a Tehma!? – Is the price realistic!? And last but not least: from what f I should pay special attention and should strike, as far as everything fits, or rather look further (would tend to have a V6 with gas system)

    huhu people , they finally got the horny clear glass parts… so I have to say for 149.99€ they are really a bargain. Shine nice far and the look is simply horny, they are also 100% fitting exactly.   • C20ne starts then but again out of white no more…

    Hi, I have a problem with my 92ner Calibra, motor is a c20ne. When I turn it on but in the empty run it goes out as if you turn the ignition key. Sometimes he wants to deal with more garnet and then you have to wait half an hour and jump on and go out again I know net more, sometimes he doesn’t run and when he lashes I don’t know how long (times 2min. or 30min.). I already have the air flow meter, control unit, fuel pump relay, petrol filter, S pritpump, spark plugs replaced. Oh yes the idle controller has been cleaned by me, which looks almost like new. But I also connected another LLR but always showed the same reaction. Does that bring what if I spray contact spray somewhere zb. Ignition distributor? Hope you can help me. I’m really desperate and not only I 3 experts also didn’t know any advice.

  • Couple of technical questions about Calibra….

    Must be a bit annoying According to my Calibra brochure, the Cali 6 speaker original. Find only those in the door. In the back I hear something, under the disguise, but don’t see any covers. Gives there a drawing plan etc. where exactly the rear speakers are installed? At the front of the windscreen are plastic covers, then do tweeters belong in there or? Then spins my tank watch is not a problem but small cattle makes crap. Pointer is all the time on reserve and Rese Rve lamp lights up. Tank clock doesn’t touch at all. Is that a mass error or cable usage, sensor defective etc. ? Had found a dead mouse in the trunk, maybe something to gnaw and another last question about the engine. C20NE 85kw Is a supermotor, economical and running quietly and fast Has no idle problems and always starts nicely in cold condition. If the engine is however at operating temperature it starts rather badly, only with a bissal pressure on the accelerator. Then run t the machine immediately with stable idle. Ignition cables also look after animal visit and spark plugs I still have to control. MKL does not light up! Are all small things, but want to do everything. mfg noir

  • Running power for Calli V6

    Hello Leutz 😉 I play with the thought of getting a Calli V6, have already one at hand, but he already has almost 250tkm down, but runs like a clockwork and goes according to Tacho also up to 250km/h. Now my question, how stable are these motors have made up to now only experience with the c20ne and they run with good maintenance also over 400tkm.
