  • OPEL TIGRA TT & SPEEDSTER

Hello. I intend to buy an Opel at the end of this year. It should be either a Speedster or a Tigra TwinTop. The purchase prices of many Speedsters are under 20000€, just as much as a new Tigra. My question is how much the insurance (liability + partial cascade) for the two cars costs each at about 140% beginner’s rate.

  • Speedster fit for everyday use?

Hello together, I’m so fascinated by the Speedster Turbo that I might want to increase it – but with the everyday fitness still have my concerns. Is the Speedster with its low ground clearance in winter naturally still reasonably mobile and is there any 175er/17-inch winter tires at all? Does any of you drive a Speedster also over winter and what do I have to think about? He naturally offers “no” comfort and little trunk, which for me but no real problem and the consumption would have to be relatively low due to the low weight, there would be no other car with such a good driving performance/price ratio as the Speedster and my “home brand” BMW offers nothing nearly equivalent. The Z4 is already so expensive in the basic version and even the stronger models are not nearly as sporty as a Speedster Turbo due to the high weight. I would be happy if someone from their experiences with the Speedster beric hten could – many thanks to greeting: Alex

  • current execution for end stage – where?

Day together! I’ve been using Calibra 2.0i for about 3 weeks – as far as I can tell so far, an absolutely brilliant car! (I just wanted to say)… My problem is now – I want to connect a power amplifier in the trunk – where I best do the cable entry for the +Pol (motor room – interior) and where I best clamp the pole in the trunk without having to drill around there if avoidable, etc. Thanks already – it is certainly easier if m search directly in the right place, before you’ve got God-know-what unnecessarily unscrewed… Michael

  • A.T.U. Very good!

I had an oil change at the ATU today. Had a good look otherwise I wouldn’t have gone anyway. The heroes raised my Calibra at the side skirt!!! Still far before the Opel car lifter set up the raised. Unfortunately I saw it much too late. I almost fell into a coma. Side skirt is totally spoilt. Man Man Man This was the first and last time I was in the store for a long time.

  • Calibra Last Edition?

Hello! I’ve seen a black Calibra Last Edition 2.0i 16V (100KW) at a Opel dealership. It’s been driven by the head of the dealership since ’97, so I assume that it’s very well maintained. the data: – the standard (such as leather seats, climate, ABS, seat heating, electric window lifter etc.) – partial repainting (I was told) – Kenwood car radio with changer (I wouldn’t necessarily want to take with me, since I already have a very good radio from JVC) – RH 8×17″ Alus ( http://www.atu.de/…/fbsDetail.asp?… ) with 225 wide tires (I don’t know anymore, but looked quite new) – speed lifts on the bonnet (the engine room looked very well maintained and clean by the way) – sports exhaust (double tube … don’t know me exactly now the price: 10.500,- EUR what do you say about the offer??? for Saturday (6.Maerz) is a test drive set … let’s see how he is on the road thanks for the answers in the Vorraus Greetz indigo

  • Apple Carplay

Hi, I’m lucky to be able to drive a Calibra A 2.0i as a first car. At the moment there is not the serial radio in it, but still a relatively old one. Since I like to listen to music when driving a car and also like the possibility to change the playlist during the ride, I am looking for a radio with Apple CarPlay, that I can install in the Calibra and then connect wirelessly to my mobile phone. It doesn’t have to be somehow foldable or so and should be of course as cheap as possible (bin student). Is there anything I have to pay attention to? Any connections, are there different sizes or perhaps too little or too much output performance? I would be happy about answers and also suggestions, which radios could come into question! Adrian

  • Maximum rim width for the Calibra without processing the wheel houses

Hello,I have a question for you Calibra driver I would like to buy my Calibra new wheels these have the size 7.5×17 ET 35 about the tire size I have not yet thought about.I would only be important to know if the rim size without processing the wheel houses still fits because a pulling of the wheel houses does not come into question for me also the edges I want to change.Maybe someone has experience with this rim size.Would I be very happy about helpful answers. • Calibra 2.0 116 PS runs a little rough and sometimes starts bad

Moin Moin, I bought a nice Calibra with only 120000 km. The car runs really great until it always runs slightly bumpy in the stand and sometimes starts badly. The start is really good you only have to have a little 4 – 5 seconds organs then he comes. Sometimes he starts immediately. Only in the stand there he runs a little rough. Do you have an idea what it can be? I wanted to change the spark plugs and I don’t know any more. With friendly greeting Dennis.

  • Apparently no fuel in cylinder 4, c20ne runs only on 3 cylinders

Moin! I’ve spent the last few days looking for problems like mine, but I didn’t really find descriptions that help me…short story ahead: A few days ago I made a round trip in my 93 Opel Calibra 8v 85kw. After some time I noticed that he was e.g. at red lights, so generally in idle time starts to run more restless and to tuck, like a trecker. But I didn’t think about it yet, because it was quite discreet and also seemed to have gotten better. Then it came again and became worse. A little later I noticed that the tuckering didn’t go away even when speeding up. Finally it was so bad that I had to stop at a bus stop. Then I realized that the engine only runs on 3 cylinders after all. But then I was still smiling home, was not far away. Since then it is there and doesn’t want to run on all fours… sparking comes on all the candles strongly. But I can’t remember the fourth thing about pre-compressioning. I can’t just say that I can’t have a candlestick.
