  • rethink opel-psa

after more than 20 years of belonging to this brand we, the workshop staff, have to undergo a change. I was last on two training courses to crosslander and grandlander. my reference: please no longer compare the opel models known to you with the “new” (in collaboration with psa) also those that may come into the future. here are some important details: crosslander and grandlander are actually no longer opel. they were created on the computers of psa. all ba uteile, except the control unit onstar, are from psa. opel was allowed to express their own wishes during the collaboration only to the design. both are not built in German territory, the delivery times are enormously long, the ordered extras are not installed, you simply “forgotten” them in the factory. but the car is delivered anyway. the additional preservation of the sheet is desired by opel extra, because the model of the same construction is not waxed. so whoever still has a real opel, should e to rethink a new purchase of a psaople. it is simply a step down. under the stupid is, as always the customer. so since graciously with the opel dealers, you can also do just what you can. by the way: with us in Switzerland the brand has not been running for years. you rarely see a new opel on the road. and for crosslanders and grandlanders and insignia b there is no interest at all.

  • Crossland X, Motorization / Technology…

What comes under the hood was already foreseeable thanks to typeklasse.de a long time ago and is now established in the price list. Only. There is at least still indicated LPG missing ! And… As for particle filters with the DI gasoline, PSA announced already last year (for its models). Would I nevertheless with the same technology here, altogether, then then soon demand and get shown !

  • Engine control opel crossland 2019, 28,000 km

4 years ago we bought the Opel Crossland Innovation1.2 DIT with the FG-No. WOV7H9EB6L4009780 from the Opel dealer in 53340 Meckenheim. Now the vehicle lmitte Nov. 2023 “remained lying down. It did not jump any more. No one can help because the engine control is defective and not available. A used has now been checked several times to install it.Opel does not pull out the software.

  • Oil Standards

As I learned from my FOH, there have been new standards for maintenance at Crossland since 1.1. They have said goodbye to the GM standard Dexos and now rely on the PPE standard. For the 130hp petrol tank, B71 2312 0W30 oil is now to be fed. The background is probably the “wet timing belt”.

  • 1.2. Do you prefer to switch to a petrol toothworm?

Good morning! My mother-in-law has been driving a crossland for over two years with the 110 HP petrol engine. (BJ 2019) As was already noted in the forum, there are problems with the oil-running tooth rubbing at Crossland and its PSA derivatives with the same engine. If all this is noticeable, because the oil pressure drops due to the “rubber snippet”, one can no longer rule out consequential damage. Does it make sense to prefer the tooth-rim change a bit before the belt dissolves? Or is the damage really only due to the fact that wrong oil is filled in? Due to an extended warranty, the car always gets its service on time at Opel, so at least the right oil should always be filled in. Currently the car has just under 50,000 km down. Thanks for the answers!

  • Crossland X to Crossland – “Update” Experiences

Hello Crossland driver has already changed from Crossland X to Crossland (without X)? What are the experiences and differences for you? I’m curious about your reports. I’m looking forward to a change in the medium term and since I’m basically very satisfied with the X, I think there’s little to complain about even without X. I’m only asking here for people who made the mentioned change, my report will surely be there later on. . I already know one thing that probably bothers me: Crossland Ultimate, Diesel with automatic, panoramic roof and AHK is not to be gotten. It is due to the functional package, but why can’t this combination be obtained? Was also s hon like this with the X, but the functional package was not yet part of the standard equipment of the Ultimate. However, this detail will not stop me ….. So, and now out with your experiences.

  • Crossland X or the new Crossland?

Hello, I saw the new Crossland with the facelift the day before yesterday at the FOH. Yes, looks good. A lot has been done in the front, hardly anything. I can say nothing about the interior, although I did not sit in it, but the driving devil does not know the whole thing. The question arises now, since I think about a purchase, whether it makes sense to buy the successor, i.e. to wait a little longer, or the Crossland X model, which I like better as well, partly better. Is the new one really worth more, or are the differences rather marginal?

  • Question PDC at Crossland 2020

Hello! I had bought a used Crossland on Friday. According to the sign, the car should have PDC in the back. I went for a walk this evening and the car was still standing on the yard. I noticed that the ultrasonic transmitter is missing. There is nothing to see. I honestly did not pay attention to it during the test drive. The car should be a special edition 2020, no idea. In the purchase contract there is also nothing in it so is completely left blank. The other Crossland This is not Willy’s used car market on an Opel car dealership. There are differences between the PDCs in the Crosslands or is this just a mistake. The car should have cost in the original 28000 because I can not imagine that the thing has no PDC. Thank you for your effort and input! Greetings from Stuttgart
