Just one little thing, but out of interest: In the operating instructions of the Crossland X it says that the window lifters can be opened and closed from the outside with a long pressure on the key of the central locking system, as is the case with many more current vehicles. With the Crossland I tested, this was not possible, and the seller also said that the function was not available. Can a Crossland driver say something about this? Car?

Crossland successor – Frontera (2024)
Yes. I also want to start the topic, next to the Crossland Facelift. Because… …with the Mokka successor next doorhttps://www.motor-talk.de/…/mokka-successor-2020-t6577862.html?… ..shows that at least this one will be smaller than its predecessor and the CLX. This could in turn mean for a Crossland successor, if you look at the new 2008 4.30m, that the OPEL will also be longer. But I also see…. The Peugeot has the same wheelbase and the same wheelbase. Width like the current CLX. So so basically only the overhangs have become more. Maybe a little more trunk (length) with it…?! What else do you have in mind, what a Crossland successor should have/should have (?!)…

Leave out front collision warning at Crossland X?
Good day, so I would like to buy a new Crossland X and when configuring one can select or omit a proactive driver assistance system at the price of four hundred fifty €. The car then gets two systems for this: First a front collision warning with automatic danger braking and pedestrian detection. Second, a fatigue detection. Now I do not know if it makes sense to book these assistance systems. However, the front-collision alarm seems problematic to me. How do I know that it does not even make a mistake and automatically slows down, although this is not necessary? This could lead to an accident when the car is close behind it and cannot brake fast enough. Therefore, this system may be dangerous and it harms more than that. I don’t know, however, since I have never used such an assistance system before. If you don’t want to use it, you can also book it out. Is it possible to shut it down? On the other hand, it would be tactically unwise to leave these assistance systems out, because I probably want to sell the car again in a few years and the attractiveness of the car would suffer from the lack of this feature.

X-Man, first ! …;)
I can hereby “promise ceremonially”, today my CLX picked up In principle I do not need to set pictures, it looks quite exactly like in the advertisement: white/black, innovation, BiColor-17-inch rims, 1.2 T (110 hp), switch. PS: Who is interested in the 4 tires, 215/50 R17 91 H, Bridgestone Turanza T001 has ?….PN to me !

Crossland X 82PS
Since my Astra may soon be soft, I am superior to buying a cross country with the base motor. Meon Astra now has 1.4 120hp is not a racing machine but it is completely enough. I drive every day 15kilometers (simple distance) into the work of it about 10km highway with 100 restriction, purchases are done in the city,1-2x a month, I drive to my parents where the route then about 30kilometers (100/130 highway), 15kilometers highway and local areas (50/10 0). Well it’s clear to me that the Astra 40hp has more and also has a turbo but with my driving profile something speaks against the entry fuel, from the Raser times I am outside, only a truck you should be able to overtake that would be of advantage (but not every day) test drive is already agreed anyway but it usually doesn’t last long enough, because my car dealer would have a beautiful Arctic Blue, innovation in itself that has quite a lot inside winter Package, rear-view camera, armrest, double baking room floor, seats in leather look, so actually everything I want and need, It should be said that the car will also be driven by my girlfriend who is currently driving the driver’s license and has the same work distance as I do, guess that we will drive around the 15,000kilometers a year together Would I be happy about experiences

rethink opel-psa
after more than 20 years of belonging to this brand we, the workshop staff, have to undergo a change. I was last on two training courses to crosslander and grandlander. my reference: please no longer compare the opel models known to you with the “new” (in collaboration with psa) also those that may come into the future. here are some important details: crosslander and grandlander are actually no longer opel. they were created on the computers of psa. all ba uteile, except the control unit onstar, are from psa. opel was allowed to express their own wishes during the collaboration only to the design. both are not built in German territory, the delivery times are enormously long, the ordered extras are not installed, you simply “forgotten” them in the factory. but the car is delivered anyway. the additional preservation of the sheet is desired by opel extra, because the model of the same construction is not waxed. so whoever still has a real opel, should e to rethink a new purchase of a psaople. it is simply a step down. under the stupid is, as always the customer. so since graciously with the opel dealers, you can also do just what you can. by the way: with us in Switzerland the brand has not been running for years. you rarely see a new opel on the road. and for crosslanders and grandlanders and insignia b there is no interest at all.

Crossland X, Motorization / Technology…
What comes under the hood was already foreseeable thanks to typeklasse.de a long time ago and is now established in the price list. Only. There is at least still indicated LPG missing ! And… As for particle filters with the DI gasoline, PSA announced already last year (for its models). Would I nevertheless with the same technology here, altogether, then then soon demand and get shown !

Oil Standards
As I learned from my FOH, there have been new standards for maintenance at Crossland since 1.1. They have said goodbye to the GM standard Dexos and now rely on the PPE standard. For the 130hp petrol tank, B71 2312 0W30 oil is now to be fed. The background is probably the “wet timing belt”.
