Hello to each other, my Grandland X has been preparing me for a long time and no workshop can tell me the exact reason for this. It started with the temperature display from 90 degrees for a second to the very top and passed again to 90 degrees and then into the “emergency run”. I then parked my car and checked the cooling liquid. On my visit to the workshop the timing belt and the water pump were replaced. About 2 months later w I am back on the highway and the same game again from the front. Now I get different opinions and since these repairs all cost a lot of money I hope that someone can help me from you. One workshop talks about the AGR valve the other from the thermostat and another from the cylinder head seal. All these repairs are very expensive. Currently I can drive short distances (about 6 kilometers) without problems. As soon as the temperature but 90 degrees he that’s my alarm signal where I then know that there is no water in the cooling water tank. As soon as I stop and release pressure carefully, the cooling water rises and I have to record a minimal loss. My Grandland is currently in a workshop and the engine has not been “pressed” any loss. This procedure is now still made with smoke and absolutely sure to go, that the cylinder head seal is complete. I am an absolute lender. Before I get another possibility I hope to receive an answer from you.

Only Navi OR Rearview Camera
Hello, last November we decided for the Granflsnd X. When we wanted to order, however, there was just the new price list and conversion. With the new version of the innovation with lower price, but also much lower equipment, we could only choose between Navi OR rear camera. To get both, we now have to order either a business equipment or the Ultimate variant. We can not approve of this price policy. Can anyone say something about this??? Why is that, after all, it is the second most expensive equipment variant!

13.8 l Consumption of pure petrol drive from Opel Grandland X 1.6 Plug-in Hybrid Ultimate 4×4
Hello, since October 2023 I have a Opel Grandland X 1.6 Plug-in Hybrid Ultimate 4×4 from January 2020 which has now driven 21tkm. I do not charge the car constantly with electricity, because I have no charging station at my home. Now I have noticed in the last months that if I drive without electricity (I have extra fuel fillings without charging) , the car has a consumption in the city of 13.8 l. And this high consumption is constant – however I drive only in the city. I do not stand so much in the traffic jam, but also have no long distances – so more like 4 kilometers. What do you say about the consumption? Isn’t it extremely high? What can this be and what should be controlled. Thank you for your knowledge and your answers!

Rearview camera
Hello, I would need your help. My grandland x is built in 2018. I kind of feel like I’m missing lines in my back camera. I mean, it would have looked different. Maybe I’m wrong, too. I can’t adjust anything. Maybe someone can help me. I also have the problem with the exterior mirrors that don’t work out, seems to be a common problem. But I can’t find a workshop. LG

Damage to tyre flank
Hello, unfortunately something stupid just happened to me. When I parked (really slow), I touched a curb with the left rear wheel. Now there is a notch on the tyre flank (summer tires) with a diameter of approx. 7mm and a depth (at the lowest point) of approx. 4mm. Actually, I only had to change the summer tires for all-year tires in autumn, now I have to prefer this, don’t you think? I can take a few more days with the vehicle. On Thursday I have an appointment in the workshop anyway, in order to repair stonefalls. Here is a photo of the damage. Thank you very much!

Delay in delivery with panoramic roof
Hello together. I ordered a Grandland B in January. I ordered the comfort package for it. Now there are different statements that there are problems with the panoramic roof. My FOH also told me to have heard about it, but my delivery date was still standing. I read from other people who ordered this, that the delivery time can be postponed by up to 12 weeks. As a reason I have of delivery difficulties of the panorama roof and that the roof mmel when opening and closing the doors should move. Maybe someone here has more or more detailed information about it. VG Tom

Comparison Grandland with other SUVs
The Peugeot 3008 (technically “equivalent” to the Opel Grandland) has already been compared with the Hyundai Tucson (Vorfacelift). (2.0 Diesel FWD hand switch) The real test consumption of both candidates is quite identical, although the Tucson weighs 35 kg more (a part of it is due to the 10L larger tank of the Tucson) and its front surface is slightly larger. (136 to 150 hp) Grandland and 3008 are gladly proclaimed as lightweight wonders due to their “front drive only” platform, but the 3008 saves hardly more than 25 kg (with the same tank filling) compared to the two-year-old Tucson…maybe the 3008 has a better equipment? http://www.autobild.de/…/…t-3008-renault-scenic-test-11032663.html I’m looking forward to the first comparison test of the Grandland 2.0D with competitor models.
