Hello Together, in principle I am very satisfied with our Grandland (innovation with leather package) and still enthusiastic about both quality and workmanship. Everything is cleanly processed, no flapping, creaking, creaking or squeaking. I noticed only one thing about the car (but you have to look very carefully!), with other Grandlands (including Ultimate), which the dealer had standing on the yard, also: The paneling of the A-pillar at the transition to the roof sky is visible on both sides (driver and passenger) and has apparently no clean / flush finish to the roof sky or door seal. Is that also so with your Grandlands, or does this only hit a certain batch of vehicles (until 12/2017)? Many (still enthusiastic) greetings and nice weekend, Josl

Photo and video collection of the new Grandland X SUV
At the moment the Grandland X is available on press photos mostly in red or blue. We can try to collect more colors here to create a better overview. Also, new videos are interesting for many. I’ll start with the press photos from April 2017 in Topas Blue.http://media.opel.de/…/04/19-grandland-x.htmlThen the (Italian) press launch in Topas Blue and Rubin Red.https://youtu.be/F_jYdRI8zm4Mark Adams explains the design. Moonstone Grey?https://youtu.be/F_jYdRI8zm4Mark Adams explains the design. s://youtu.be/oRhKSUe02TM White, silver, black?!? To be continued …

Ad Blue pump broken
After 4 months ago the Dieselkat for ‘dezente’ 1k7 teu had to be replaced, now comes the next hammer: the adblue pump has the service acknowledged (or only crystallised) what abe means the same: complete Adblue tank unit new, pump gives net separately and is also net disassembled, costs 1k3€! And now the Oberhammer: Delivery time uncertain, no one knows nothing exact net! This is the Absolute Obergau, DDR 4.0!!! Now I have to delete all 1000km to the workshop 1x error, because otherwise after 1200km ‘Game over’. That doesn’t seem to be an unknown problem with Stellantis, a customer of mine has a jumper with exactly the same problem, there the delivery ‘only’ took 8 months 🙁 For ‘happiness’ this is my 4m car. If I retire next year, everything is definitely out of Stelantis!

Car rental Opel Grandland
Moin, I currently have a rental car from the Grandland, because my Focus Mk3 had a rear impact and is in the workshop. I’m not really thrilled…. – The radio makes you crazy: connect Bluetooth, ignition off and on again, radio. Time and again, as soon as you interrupt the ignition, it jumps back on radio and does not stay in Bluetooth. You get crazy about it when this happens every time you ride. – Is there actually noc in 2022 (ok, or year 2020 or so) h Cars that can’t open and close all 4 windows with a long pressure on the remote control? Yes, the Grandland. – Speaking of windows: What’s this design, where the driver’s door gets the lowered disc 5 mm high when it’s completely down, and thus presses at the elbow? – The tank watch does what it wants: After 100 km and a little down at once again to completely full and after full fuelling then 3 mm below maximum. OK, that may be a defect and not a design problem. – The three-cylinder noise feels funny in such a large SUV, but the car can’t be anything like that. – Terrible plastic snare on the door handles. Positive: -Fries well, brake well, looks good, that’s fine, but the details up there are rather strange for a modern car.

[1.6 Plug-in Hybrid] Which charging cable fits (for maximum charging power)?
Hall all on the other hand, could someone please tell an absolute technical store which charging cable I need for my Citroen C5 Aircross Plug-in-Hybrid, if I have the on-board charger and would like to charge at a high current socket (i.e. 7,4 KW)? Also with address, where I get a suitable cable 😉 Thank you!

14680R – Opel Grandland (BJ 2024)
I have just read the article on the current recall campaign for the Opel Grandland (BJ 2024). Here there seems to be faulty screw connections on the ball joint mounts. I could be affected if necessary. https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/…/ Are there any interested parties here in the forum who have already been informed in writing by KBA or Opel?*** This post was edited by 206driver (2023 removed from post and title) ***

Adoption here from the Grandland X Forum
Hello. I hereby say goodbye to the Grandland X Forum, but will continue to remain true to the MT Forum and Opel. Since my Grandland X became more and more bitchy, the last failure of the AFL curve light and still various CANBUS errors, I bought another GM/OPEL and that is an Insignia B Sports Tourer. I can trust this Stellantis/Peugeot technology in the long term. No question, the Grandland X is a great car from the concept. The 1.2 engine with the 8-speed Automatic has succeeded, no problems except the story with the timing belt running in oil, which never bothered me and I would have just planned a change interval. But this electronics thing never got out of my mind and in future would also be more expensive than a change of timing belt.

Hybrid differences
Hello dear community I hope not to be stoned, but on the topic hybrid I have the one or other question that I don’t get answered so much, am not actually the forum type but I give myself trouble, Currently I drive a v class as 200 ps diesel variant, which I would like to sell soon, I don’t want to sell a diesel then I no longer now woman has set me a little on hybrid, brand I have not now driven some corolla as well opel, was also with those always satisfied to my driving profile about 10 – 15 tsd kilometers per year to the largest part by the Eifel so almost no city. me or us float 2 cars before which we want to look more closely, once the corolla with the large machine and good equipment and the Opel Grand Land X the gt there is only with one machine the two cars differ in hybrid mode but that the Opel has to be loaded or can not? and the Corolla, if i The Corolla can theoretically drive 2 km purely electric and the Opel around 50 km. the Opel charges just like the Corolla would be the ride again or needs it if it is electrically empty a plug socket. then I read out somewhere that the Toyota is electrically supported up to about 50 kmh the Opel against up to 125 kmh, so as a lay that would give me the understanding that the Corolla is electrically supported only up to 50 kmh and off then works as a normal petroler. can someone grab me sometimes under the poor with the two principles I really stand there on the hose with kind regards Daniel

Speed of distance
Why doesn’t distance tempomat go with the automatic transmission? Other manufacturers get that baked, and even less than 30km/h…

Engine error – vehicle jerks
Hello, I had the following problem last night. After about 25 km of driving distance, the reporting engine error lit up in the Borcomputer and in the Tacho a red stop symbol. The vehicle jerked very much and did not accelerate anymore. I drove right and turned off the car. After a short break I restarted the vehicle and everything was back to normal. Also this morning on my 20 km long drive to work everything was ok. Has someone an idea and experience w The timing belt was changed 15,000 km ago.
