The big Opel-comminde I’m actually out of the Mercedes camp and therefore I don’t have too much idea of Opel’s consumption, because it’s about the grand tour of my better half, a 1.5 D with automatic. The car got it about 6 weeks ago and now ran about 11,000 Km. Almost 2 weeks ago at mileage 7500 came in the display the message that AdBlue should be refilled, otherwise in 700 Km no engine start would be possible anymore. AdBlue was refilled, but the message remained. She had to Opel and they have deleted the error and everything was good until today. There came the message that should be refilled again, otherwise in 2000 Km no engine start would be possible. Now my first questions, how big is the tank for the AdBlue actually and how far do you usually arrive with a filling? My friend drives a lot of highway with speeds between 130 and 160 and relatively little short distance. She has now refueled to the nearly 11,000 Km already three times AdBlue, is the normal?

GrandlandX Bj21 Controller Error Warranty
in our bumpy purchase of the used car GrandlandX Hybrid Bj.21 was before the car transfer still errors in the error memory of the controller. Auto dealer Neff was not able to fix these. Now we have brought the car for inventory and small defects repair to Auto dealership in our vicinity and this could first on guarantee put the small things in order. [error memory was set back] –> but we still have error information in the controller In how far are Also these errors are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty? (especially when the first half of the year has elapsed soon) Sounds guaranteed quite great the Opel here 5 years special super warranty promote; but the truth is mostly in the detail. My main problem is that the errors can mean “everything” or just “nothing”: and if a gross error develops what much money should cost at some point: can the cause be circled on such errors? B1003 ECU Functional malfunction U1FA0 Control unit Functional malfunction U1208 Invalid data received from the control unit Engine; performance – signal invalid Opel parent company takes “no position” on this, although this is now all documented by the inventory of the car dealership in my surroundings.

Denon Sound System
Would you like to ask if the Denon Sound system is recommended? Do you hear a big difference to the standard audio system? Unfortunately, I can’t make comparison audio samples myself due to lack of available possibilities. I thank you for your feedback

Total failure of electronics
We were in Spain for 3 months now, until then everything ran wonderful! On the return trip, just before our hotel in Dijon (France) we had a total failure of the electronics. 130 Km/h Tempomat AB right side, engine went off, all warning lights on. In the display „Motor flaw……. Luckily, directly to an emergency stop bay with emergency column. I could not turn off the start/stop button. After approx. 30min. the Grandland nevertheless took over the start/stop button. International ADAC notified, tows brought us to the hotel. There the mechanic of the car was able to start again! All warning lights off! In the display was shown: vehicle is in ECO mode??? The next day I had to the Opel workshop there. Luckily, only in 60 km radius. Unfortunately, only sellers had to be informed about it on Saturday! The seller then had been informed about entertainment display some parameters of the vehicle and told us: We could go to Germany, but I should already read and reset the error memory there. By now, I had not received a message about Opel service on Monday.
