After a short time about 5 min drive my engine gets extremely hot and doesn’t smell bad (smells kind of burnt). Have somehow that feeling that it is not properly cooled. But also the change of the cooling water thermostat does not succeed. What can it still be about? Possibly the water pump, how do I test it? just pull off any hose and see if the water comes to me??? What I also noticed is that the cooling water temperature does not rise.

Mileage of Opel engines part#2
Quotation: 8 pages full of nonsense, which has nothing to do with Opel engines. @caravan16v (apparently the oberindian) I really don’t know where the problem lies… just give us the pleasure of it ! you can’t always go `grottenernst` through ́s life … or (just a tip) just make a meaningful `offtopic` area here… you can’t at least deny that you use at least more or less meaningful information about he gets informed about modern nutritional problems, or ?? 😉 still in o.g. thread are definitely also cultural, as well as geographical contents included ! *grins* ok…. admitted, motor problems have been mentioned rather rarely… if you want, I write however still a suitable contribution about motors on the way to the (in the above mentioned thread) monument afterwards. but I find for myself quite alone, that a forum also lives quite of apparently `senseless` things. inen traffic in the all-round forum immense 😉 I for my part am at any rate disillusioned about this reaction ! so.. PENG!!…habe greasy 🙂

Insignia 2.0 Error message Loading pressure too high
Hello my insignia had a motor damage at 128t. Km! A used engine with turbo was installed. When I picked up the insi. He ran super then I was informed that I still get a software update so car in the workshop and program on it. Everything super But unfortunately now always comes the error message “charge pressure too high”. In the workshop one said the loader is defect .So other loaders pure but the error comes again and again. Does someone have this problem or knows advice?

Zafira 1.7 CDTI Start problems
Hello together, yesterday I started my Zafira quite normally, but I already noticed an unusual (more than the normal one with this engine) fluctuate the speed in idle mode. When driving in 1st and 2nd gear then everything was normal, from the 3rd gear, however, the engine jerks heavily under load up to 2000 rpm over it everything was quite normal. I then drove about 15 km to check if it gets better in warm condition, but the jerking was still there. In a parking lot h I turn off a video of the fluctuating idle speed after that the engine then turned off. He then let himself start, but after 1 second immediately goes out again and not as if the fuel is missing but as if you just turn off the ignition key. If you then directly try to start again he simply goes without jumping on. If you start the ignition off and again it starts again for 1 second. AGR valve is plugged off, since it has recently been I have replaced the diesel filter which has not brought any improvement. However, I noticed a few shiny metal particles, which is why I have screwed out the asses unit to see if there are chips there. Although the asses unit and the bore look so clean, however, the seals are quite over (see photos). Can I just use the seals against suitable O-rings I don’t want to buy a new unit because of the gaskets for 200€. Can the problem come from it at all or has someone had a similar problem and can tell you what it was about? Or does someone have ideas what the problem could be? Unfortunately, I can only read out mistakes on Thursday evening.

Your Xe
Hello together! If you’d liked to know what you did with your engines and what you can recommend to them, I’m not satisfied with my performance. I don’t want to hear anything like “get a chip or a good exhaust” that I have everything. It’s about straighteges tuning, correctly paired components and a good price/performance ratio. Your experiences and insights regarding engine, conversions and companies are in demand. Be a decision-making aid and not just ” Reader’s theme. THANK YOU!!!

Start problems in warm condition at Corsa B, 1.0 12V
Hello, I have a problem with my Corsa B 1.0 12V (Bj. 5/98, approx. 89.000 km). If I start my car in cold condition, then it starts perfectly and does not make any bitches at first. But if I have driven it warm to operating temperature, then put it down again and then want to start again after a few minutes (up to several hours), then the engine simply does not start. Only after many attempts (at least 10 and more), combined with full-speed, it comes back again. If it then runs then everything seems to be OK again. But if I then drive towards a traffic light and uncouple, then the speed goes down to 500 revolutions first, remains there for one second (up to 5 seconds) until it stabilizes again to the normal 800 to 900 revolutions in idle. But has not yet run out yet. During the ride he does not cause any problems at all. Pulls as usual (for his 55 hp:-) ) and brings his usual performance also otherwise. Oil with filter, air filter and spark plugs (also the right 🙂 are new. If any of you have had this problem before and if so, how did you solve it. I would like to drive to a cheap workshop to have it repaired and if I already know what to do, then I can save myself the costs for the fault diagnosis etc.. Would be nice if someone would answer me. Thanks and greetings to all Omicron01

Z14XEP draws false/side air
Hello, my Z14XEP is a faithful companion at the moment. Every day about 120 KM without significant problems and a consumption of an average of about 5 liters on 100 KM – fantastic. No oil consumption, cooling water also i.o. I have checked everything already. Currently 175tkm run To the problem: the engine runs in a stand totally restless, constant vibrations are noticeable in the interior. The KGE is dense, no hoses torn or bursted, fuel ventilation I checked earlier, here Where can the engine still draw secondary air? Nothing is stored in the fault memory, flex tube has been checked with brake cleaner=tight. As a note: When I take off the oil cover there is no slight vacuum and the oil cover jumps wildly back and forth due to constant air outbursts. The motor run does not change even if I open it or pull the measuring rod. This is not normal after my research. Where can I start looking? Thank you very much.

Diesel soot during acceleration
Hello, yesterday I had a Zafira 2.0 DTI in front of me on the highway and on the highway. Every time it accelerated, a black smoke cloud came out of the exhaust. I have seen this for the first time now on an Opel vehicle. With Audi, VW and BMW and the C-Class of Mercedes, I have noticed this quite often (unpleasantly), by Ford (Sierra 2.0 D GLX or similar) not to mention. With every acceleration process (especially if obviously was switched back) there is a s tinking smoke cloud! This is certainly not beneficial for the engine, nor environmentally friendly or economical ?? mfg. bauto
