  • Calibra V6 compression (c25xe)

    Hello I’m just new here in the forum and I have a problem with my Calibra V6. The engine clacks quite loudly (but seems to be only on one cylinder) and it runs quite unevenly, especially in the stand hear and notice it extremely. That’s why I had a compression test done. Cylinder 1 = 14.1 bar Cylinder 2 = 10.1 bar Cylinder 3 = 12.1 bar Cylinder 4 = 11.8 bar Cylinder 5 = 12.9 bar Cylinder 6 = 12.0 bar In my opinion, the loud clacking comes exactly from the Zyli I’m actually typing on the valves myself, is that possible? The workshop said that it’s probably not the piston rings. What do you think of the compression values at all, are all quite far apart. Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance

    Hallows I drive an Opel Astra G 2.0Liter 16V. With the x20xev engine. What is there for cost-effective possibilities to increase the acceleration or the Ps number of the engine ? There is also the Astra OPC with 160 Ps, is this not almost the same engine with other software ?     Hello dear Opel friends! There I once put a can for cleaning the injection nozzles etc. as an addition in the tank and the bee jumped better. 3 days later bee had to pull a hanger, so about 300 km. At 110 kmh she was really thirsty. When giving gas, she always gave off a small black cloud and the hanger tarpaulin had diesel or oil drops? I think it was diesel at the consumption. The car jumped but the next 3 days still good. And then: In the morning long gurgling starts. 3 to 4 times under smoke formation. At the end he came into operation. The battery fats flatt. The next days fed with start pilot and it came to itself faster. So now to the FOH and problem described. How in the chats fuel return lines changed, valve covers checked in and expanded?? and traverse seal. Success? 80 euro issues. Next the probably fixed drall flaps should be made manageable. Can this be the reason? Does someone have experience or can someone give me a tip here. Injection pump should be quite expensive if it should not be afterwards. For Tips – Betsen Thanks

    Greetings , my Calibra Turbo makes me mad, he jumped early normal at then I stopped briefly and since the end is! ADAC called the has measured everything by and meant it does not come to the distributor… OK new ignition coil pure . . . does not work . . relay tested . . does not work . . new ignition lock . . does not work all fittings lights as it should be , gasoline pump works . . ignition distributor tested . . engine also turns by but ignition not I bite nor the steering wheel off !!!     Hello, I am interested in your opinion regarding 6-cylinder engines of the 90s… so V6 (c25xe,x25xe) in vectra or calibra against e.g. VR6 golf3, corrado or passat – or what do you think… which 6zyl. was really good at this time? bmw r6 2,0/2,5? benz r6 2,8/3,0? …usw… am curious about your opinions…

    Hello together, as the title already says: Can you run the Lexmaul LX90 without Ram on the C20ne or is that not useful? Bzw. does not bring any performance improvement? I still have it lying around and wanted to build it up event. What do you think about it?

  • Engine damage ???? Help

    Our Vectra B EZ96 16i 75PS runs only on 3 cylinders. Ignition plugs, ignition cables, ignition sparks …. are ok KM stand 159000 errors occurred while driving with still quite cold engine. The 4th cylinder does not react if you pull off the ignition cable in case of stationary gas. Engine control does not light up. Please someone may know. Thanks in advance

Do you think the shaft will go well? 2. Who has experience with planned heads? at 9.75mm valve stroke I can plan head by how much 10.el. 3. Do you have any additional suggestions?   • C16NZ doesn’t want to run

    I have been busy since Monday with a cadett E C16NZ, on which the timing belt was torn. I changed belts and water pump, but the engine did not want to run again. Compression 11 bar, 9 bar, 9 bar, 11 bar, sparks on all 4 cylinders available, gasoline also arrives enough, nevertheless it does not run on all 4 cylinders. When it runs times, it is very black and has little power. After a long time back and forth I changed the engine today for a running, which has now in the K I’ve replaced 3 ignition coils, 4 distributors, candles are new, 3 petrol pump relays, 3 control units, new Lambda, other injection valve. Checked: petrol pump -> Voltage and delivery power are coming. ignition coil -> Voltage and resistance are right. Tomorrow I want to expand and measure the wire harness… Does anyone else have a tip? I’ve been screwing Opels for almost 15 years, but this time I really don’t know any further
