To the CIH engine connoisseurs (Hello Reinhard): as assumed, the piston bridge of the 1st cylinder is broken at the typical place. The engine had 9 bar compression on Zylidner 1 at the purchase condition of the car (was running flawlessly, slightly restless in idle) and after compressor conversion it is now completely broken, 3 bar residual compression. The following question arises to me: 1. Can I easily install another used piston? 2. Can I use the old pistons/oil stripping rings again ? 3. Who has a piston left? (the defective one has the measure 94,94)? 4. What do you say to the wearer image of the condenser bearing? (will all be renewed) Do not want the engine to be renewed, it should simply run for a while with c30ne cylinder head and compressor. If this does not work like above, comes in after a small overhaul of the available c30se, without compressor booms Many greetings Christian

Material Question – Valves
Hello, from which material are valves? According to the weight, the material has to be quite hard. However, I have found that you can easily file it?! Magnetically the valves are also – does not conclude on stainless steel?!? …but why don’t they rust then? Thanks for the Enlightenment Jens

c20xe with over 220hp, does it hold this time?
So hello guys, I have questions: I got 2 months ago an Opel Kadett E-CC GSi 16V. The previous owner has tuned the Kadett to over 220 ps. Now I have the problem that the engine does not hold. I registered it and the next day I already have a valve guide damage, I broke a valve and pulled the pistons 1 & 3 quite in sympathy. The car was completely rebuilt in May this year and the engine was repaired at Mantzel (confirmed Now I have bought a new c20xe engine at ebay which has just 150tkm on it. Now I am standing in front of the question the tuning parts again or not, I mean if I have the tuning parts built again this time, the motor will be too scrapped again or will hold it this time. last time the engine broke because I overturned the car, the car has a chip inside the car and the engine will be broken. A little bit in the top drives 8240 rpm. So what do you mean again with the tuning parts or should I rather leave the fingers of them and sell the parts at ebay or something? these are the tuning parts built in in the motor : mantzel suction bridge (inlet outlet channels extended) ECU chip fan-curved sharp cam shaft (272°) lexmaul sports exhaust system (from KAT) overall the part has 224hp which unfortunately not hold, although my uncle says that this is a miracle I would be happy if the “connoisseurs” would tell me which decision will be the cheaper one for me (long time). By the way, I don’t pay any labor costs because the engine will be removed or installed by my uncle. the problem is that I can’t buy a new engine every week. I’m happy if you could help me!

Shell diagram MV6 3.0
Hello guys, we created a shell diagram for an Opel MV6 3.0 engine in the university. Did I understand everything so far, but I couldn’t answer one thing and why at high speeds and small throttle angles which are extremely high? I am very grateful for any help!

motor control astra f 1,4
hello, there are for the astra f 1.4 two engine variants that a 1.4i the eu model with kat and 44kw den si without kat (for the Swiss market) with 60kw my question or questions are now (of course only hypothetically seen) if one would have to remove the kat with the eu model to get to the 18ps extra power also the control unit from si use or can the control unit from the eu model so out of list e.g. disconnect the lamda (which, however, has the consequence the control unit i n the emergency mode changes) that it would have the same effect since I only pose this question hypothetically as I said, please refrain from moral statements (as I know it is not allowed in the stvzo) and would be very grateful for detailed technical assistance

Approximate increase in performance
good tomorrow forumler, I have a question which refers to the increase in performance at my GSi. The machine is the c20ne and I have the following plans, as I get to the parts well for me: – RAM Induction – Fan Curvature – Group A (with absorber technology) – Power tube (instead of hose) I now went out to take the approx. values and counted from machine down to ESD (I also don’t know if you can do it that way) 85kw + 5kw (Ram) 90kw + 6kw (7% by fan k) 96kw + 6kw (7% by group) that would be under best conditions, purely computational, around the 102kw, which would then be available to me almost at the acceleration. In case that I would set the 130 chip pure, would the values according to my understanding almost once increase. 95kw + 6kw (Ram) 101kw + 7kw (7% by fan manifold) 108kw + 7kw (7% by group) about 115kw Or can you not calculate that at all? Finally, the controversial question arises as well. whether you could not tickle out 1 – 2 kw or at least stabilize the performance by means of suction optimization, i.e. the so-called power raw & other self-built, and by inserting 16V valves & tuning of the whole, or even 1 – 2 kw.

Engine conversion Corsa C12NZ to C14SE
Hello since I have already gone through all search engines but still found nothing suitable now my questions! And I bought today an Astra F with C14SE as a butcher and wants to install the engine in my Corsa because my C12NZ will soon make the Muck! Installing the engine makes me no trouble, much more thought I make the thing to wire so that it works! Do I have to take the motor cable tree out of the Astra and where do I have to connect the thing? Do I have to change anything else about cable technology? I’m loaning electrical engineering at Opel but you want to learn about it and it can’t be that hard! I would be happy about helpful answers. mfg der Robert

Change C20XE head, valves?
Huhu, I would like to apologize for my ignorance, so it’s about the following, I have to buy a C20XE, but many of them I find, where the valves are crooked (seller states that the timing belt jumped down at about 1500 rpm because it was too loose) And with another it means that the crankshaft wheel has overturned and thereby the valves are crooked? Can anyone say if that can be? So I haven’t yet jumped down the timing belt or So, are the described consequences suitable for the causes? What does changing the valves cost at a C20XE? Where can you do something like that? Change your head? Does not have to be sanded there? Costs? Where? Should one have ‘tuning’ measures taken? Which ones? Thanks already :O

new future engines
Hello guys! I wanted to ask if who knows which future engines are coming from you?, there are a few insiders among us?, but an opinion of your own would also be very interesting! 1. Will there be a stronger diesel than the 1,9CDTI 110KW in the Astra?, is there something decided whether there will be anything else? 2. Will there be a stronger version of the current 3.0CDTI in the Vectra? 3. What do you think will the 1.8L 16V be replaced by a direct Ecotec or by a new engine? 4. Will a ne our Fiat Diesel, did you hear what the 1.7CDTI should be replaced with a new 1.6jtd?, what did you hear about it? 5. The 2.8L V6 Turbo with 250hp comes in the “new” Vectra MJ 2006 6. The directly Ecotec 2,2, will get a six-speed transmission!}MJ 2006 7. Does the new Astra get new gasoline turbomotors, because the current ones have already come into the years!, I have an OPEL tester once told me what should come a new generation of turbos? So what do you think about my taken up SECULATION? Mfg maxee
