  • … this general overhaul

Hi guys. I’m now going with my Y16XE to the 200. I’m either thinking about buying a new vectra again (and in case of overtaking my engine general). I’ve heard that so many times from others, who then easily managed 300TK…. I asked the FOH about this (at 2en). But then they just looked at me asking what I want…. And referred to the new car corner. My question: Where can you do something like this and how expensive is that? I’d like to know before I switch everything from the throttle cap to the piston ring on my own.

  • Cylinder head gasket defective?

Hi I have the following problem with my B Corsa 1.4 16V Year of construction 1996 126.000km – Burns a lot of oil ( 2 -3 L to about 400km) but only a week before he has already swallowed en bissel oil there I have ma every month 0.5L after tilted – engine jerks when giving gas approx. 2 weeks (times more times less) – hardly suit – Since Friday he runs in my opinion only on 3 instead of on 4 cylinders, but there is no expert the engine noise has changed anyway hears a n wien Tractor. I once looked in the cooling water and on the lid of the oil whether there should be such foam deposited a sign for a defective cylinder head gasket but could not discover anything. I nevertheless suspected the cylinder head gasket. If the gasket is what can you expect so pricey? What else could it be? gruss Fritte

To you professionals out there: I don’t know any further and would like to tip It’s very nice. KAT is ordered a new one but is the ONLY because ?? What else can it be ? What can I do ? • Differences in suction tube X20XEV

Hi, I’ve got 2 suction pipes from the X20XEV. One of the Omega b BJ. 94, and the other is that from my Calibra (bj. 97) Now I wanted to ask, because the very different, which is the better one. Because with me is still some switch on (think about a switching suction tube ??) and the other has nothing. (below times a picture of it, on the right that from the cali and the left that from the omega) Could I build this from the Omega B like that?? Would I have a advantage of it? Or would I rather have the Built-in originals ???

  • Turbomotors

Hi guys, first of all I want to say that I’m a Newbie. So new here. And now to my question. I’ve heard from many people that turbo engines are getting a defective whitening faster than normal engines. Is there something wrong or not. I’m not going to deal specifically with Opel engines now, but some Opel haters told me because they want to make Opel bad, whereas I’ve already fought back, that the Opel turbo engines only hold about 50tkm and then the turbocharge in the A**** is Can anyone give me any feedback?? • heat problems Weber carburettor

Hello, thank you for answering my last question! Recently I have had the following problem: I have made 2,2 CIH with 45 weavers in my manta. You know the problem, that the carburettors are like on a grill over the cracker, and steam bubbles form in the petrol… But with me this takes on so slowly serious mass. If I have driven more than a kilometer and turn off the engine, I can make myself comfortable, the 45min goes not to What’s funny, of course, if you don’t live right next to the gas station… But it’s much worse: after 30 minutes of driving (approx.) the parts are so hot that every traffic light becomes a gamble. My neighborhood almost only knows me with the bonnet waving… I have already wrapped the fan manifold with the heat protection certificate, the carburettors with heat repellent foil, and a hose conducts wind on the carburettor housing. I also attached another sheet metal that the h If I didn’t miss a stupid mistake somewhere, I would come to the result: Weber on CIH: NULL everyday fitness! Did any of you already have the problems and know advice?? Thank you, david

  • Where does the replacement engine X14XE (1.4 16V) come from?

With my Opel Corsa 1.4 16V the engine has recently said goodbye, i.e. it no longer runs properly, because the complete engine block is rusty. A general overhaul would not be possible for cost reasons, since I have requested from different workshops. These have given me prices from 2000 to 2500 € each. In this case the engine would have to be removed, taken apart, cleaned or overhauled and reassembled. Therefore I am looking for an address, at which i n could ask for reference to a used engine.

  • Cylinder head C20XE & C20LET equal?

Hi, I had to get a new cylinder head. Got a C20XE engine without a distributor (I think). Then I bought a used Cossi head from a 16V turbo. I had in my engine tuning camshafts, but unfortunately I can’t find the description of the waves anymore. When I built the shaft on the new head from the turbo, much of the waves can’t be turned on me. Where the individual cams are, there are too big edges in front of the hydropumps. I had to d The previous owner of my engine, who also installed the camshafts, used two identical camshaft wheels (same part number). Therefore, there is something wrong with the markings. Once you can put the wheels in 5 different ways on the shafts (where the wheel is screwed 5 holes which are also labeled) and which is also very funny that the wheels are once a notch On one gear, the marking 8 teeth is removed from the notch. Can’t explain what these yellow markings should be for. So 1st question: Can it be that I need another camshaft with a little less stroke? Then I should not have milled away. Does the turbo have other waves? 2. question: Does the turbo have a different hydropump than the XE? 3. Question: Someone’s idea of what the yellow markings should do?` I thank you in advance

  • Problems with my Vectra 1.6 16V

My Vectra recently gave strong engine noise. The contract workshop then informed me that the timing belt is about to dissolve. In addition, the water pump would have to be replaced. Finally, I was told that there is no longer a culant in this case. Now my question: – Can this happen after a mileage of 41000 km and a runtime of 3 1/2 years already? – What about the test intervals of 120 tkm? By the way: My car will no longer be r serviced in the contract workshop and repaired all defective things there as well. Can someone give me here some tips on how to augument myself to the plant ?? First of all thank you for this.

  • More power and torque due to SuperPlus at 1.6 16V?

Hello guys, today SuperPlus has been filling up and imagining that the car is pulling better. I read in the BMW forum that the modern motors with electronics (dynamic knock control or something like that) offer more power and torque with better fuel. Is that true or is that just my idea? How is your experience on this topic? Furthermore, I have the feeling that the engine sounds particularly rough when I am fuelled by jet and noticeably softer when I am fuelled by Aral… have you made similar observations???
