Hello dear omega screwdriver, I’m back again because my omi unfortunately loses water at the back of the engine left (direction). Ok, I thought what could be bad, at 138000km !? Can only be the olcooler or the coolant bridge ! Well I thought then I quickly get to work and screw away the suction bridge, and look for the oil cooler or wherever the water comes from. But blow cake, no water between the cylinder heads, ok I thought look where it comes out and I made pressure on the system about 1bar, hope that was ok !? Then off into the pit and unfortunately I still can’t see exactly where it comes from, it definitely runs down at the flange screw to the hosenpipe, and it is also cracker at the last screw wet. What is still sitting behind the ignition module at the V6…? Can there still be a frost plug or something ? not that I now do the work for the cylinder head, and that’s it then ga r not. Because I have no water in the oil, the other problems. Ok, the crackers have to be made anyway because they both hiss when it is cold. So if someone still has an idea then here with it. I’m already desperate because I have a little peek before work on the heads. and I don’t know if I can get the grandma back together again. Already a lot of cables and hoses….Grins… Can someone tell me if it makes more sense to make the engine completely out, or is it possible also I have only a pit to work, so the engine doesn’t go down.Once again all the questions in the quick passage Another idea where the water comes from? What’s behind the ignition module? Would you both make sides ? Make engine out or something ? Do I have to make the heads tarpaulins ? Do I have to make the valves out to plan the heads ? Should I also make the valve shaft seals? (no or little oil loss) How do I get the line from the climate au f the left side top out of the way ? Oh oh …questions about questions. Have a picture with high loaded, which you can see where the water is with me. Because of the toothing I don’t worry because a well-known Opel mechanic puts it on me again, of course I do everything new! Would I be very happy if an Omega screwdriver can help with tips. Or villeicht also someone near me times lust has to look over. Have ne zimmlich well equipped workshop, and vill Eicht develops a omega screwer friendship……laughs… Greeting Thomas

Lateral abrasion of timing belts X20XEV
Hello, after changing the valve shaft seals (in the built-in condition of the head) logically changed the timing belt incl. water pump. But now I suddenly have side abrasion of the timing belt…. ????!!!! This has rubbed off at the turning roller on the inlet side.. The cause I could “see” so far is the following…: The old rollers have a straight bending edge…so this edge so that the ZR does not slide down… the new rollers have nac h up a small offset…so now the ZR-back has rubbed off until the steel strip insert has arrived at the a little offset outer edge… That’s not normal??!!!! I let the engine run with open cover… and with the help of one of the removed rollers the ZR is pushed away from this edge in operation. After releasing the ZR again quite quickly to the stops (as these would be a chip roll, WaPu and crankshaft wheel) . ..Well, what now? At the old ZR-KIT, with the straight edges was nothing with abrasion… what now? Thank you and greeting

Omega A – Preresistances Blowers smoke from row by row
Moin! As read in the headline, I have the problem that in the “Omega A Diamant / 2,6 / air conditioning” within a three-quarter year the third resistance for the blower has smoked. In the meantime I had already changed the blower myself, because I had one, which made a better impression optically and technically than the factory installed. So smoothness of the engine is given. Has someone an idea, which still causes such a high resistance Thank you and Greez Timmee

Snow & Ice -> Accident with the Omega…
So…today it happened exactly what I was afraid of before I started driving… From Munich back home to an appointment and it already happened…. Was just on the A92 and almost at home…. still 4 KM to the exit…. Tempomat 100 – that’s all I wanted…was scattered but it still snowed and I didn’t feel quite comfortable…. over to the turn-off track and already my tail started dancing…to the left…to the right…and finally I’m complete I thought I was banging on the side of it…. luckily, I was only slightly scratched with the front to the guardrail…. annoying yet… There’s n new headlights and a new hood due… fortunately or….unfortunately, the rest was ok… Bumper has NOTHING, only the fender still a little….but most of it on the headlight and bonnet… Headlights I get quite cheap doing 65€… the hood will be where hl will be quite expensive… the gap is no longer true… will the slurry be bent!?

Catalysts broken?
Hello Guy’s, with my MV6 the exhaust system is clapping. Now I was just at Opel to see what is defective or loose. Visually the system looked quite good. The mechanic then knocked off the system once and in both middle pots it claps as if there is something in it. According to Opel it may be that both catalysts have dissolved and parts are lying in the middle pot. To determine this exactly, the system has to decompose. Can it be that both Kats “recommended” and parts of the catalyst get into the medium pot or can also have dissolved in the medium pots? Outer damage like putting on or similar can not be recognized. If it is really the cats, then that was for my MV6. Greeting Herbert

Warning light S in gear wheel
Hello, after my 92er C20NE has now been freshly turned, he has also come up with something to annoy me. The car is an automatic! If the car is cold in the morning, the warning light flashes (not permanent lights) which is A “S” in the gear wheel. If you drive then a kilometer (car slowly warm) or so and then restarts again, it does not come any more and also the rest of the day not. Only the next morning…!!!! Any ideas ??? Greetings, Jörg

Autom. or Manual Level Control?
So, since I haven’t gotten smarter in the meantime, even though I’ve read almost everything about level control, I’m asking for your help. I have an Omega B (FL) V94 Bj 10/99 2.2l 16V. For some time now I’ve noticed that the vehicle is sinking at the HA, but not going into the corresponding basic position. In the forums it is advised to put something heavy in the trunk so that the compressor lifts the car at the HA. Since I weigh significantly more than a suitcase, there is enough weight. The car does not lift a millimeter and a compressor noise is not heard either. Only during a braking process my xenon headlights stand up or down. A headlight setting at the light switch does not have the car. Lt. Indication of the FOH is rather rare that the shock absorber of an Omega B ( FL ) covers up. He would suggest that the air in the shock absorber has to be refilled. Since when kan n one to fill shock absorbers with air?!?!!! *fully confused!!* I have been looking for a valve in the trunk in vain until now, unless I have overlooked it. Is there a more precise indication about the seat of the valve or with what pressure you have to fill it up? Or, or or or………. Has someone already had experience with costs of repair? It would be awesome if one would come here to say hello Opel test driver

Opel Omega MV6 Sport(??) TÜV problem
Moin, Moin, 3 weeks ago I had the timing belt changed at the MV6 Caravan Bj. 09/97 at the FOH. At the same time a TÜV should be made, because this month is due. At the pickup I was told that he did not get a TÜV, because a track rod head is defective at the front. Furthermore, one would have accidentally registered the lack of registration of the springs also as a defect, since the TÜV examiner has only seen the folder with all the reports afterwards. So I am this Woch e, with a new track rod head, again to the investigation. First one started to search for the documents for the springs, which unfortunately have not been found and thus the investigation was interrupted, with the hint, I should sometimes research what feathers are in it and get me the corresponding documents. I complained, that they told me that the lack of “spring entry” only accidentally appeared on the TÜV report, but this has nothing Then I wrote to the previous owner and asked if he still has any documents or information here. He has now informed me that the Omega Caravan is a sport version and the springs are installed as standard. Ha! He would have had the same problems with his first TÜV. I should go to the FOH, which can certify that this is the case! Ha-Ha! Now to my questions: What can I recognize? Where can I find information about what the sports version contains What can I give my FOH to the hand so that he can see the same with the standard installed?!;-) The chassis number is W0L0VBP35W1075417 I’m already looking forward to your answers.
