I drive a Opel Omega B 2,0 16V Built 97. Last week Thursday I drove into the washing machine in the evening. The next day my wife drove to work and there it was a bit of smoke from the ashtray. After a minute about the fan went out. We have an electronic ventilation with air conditioning, seat heating etc. In the evening I looked at the fuses and found that the fuse No. 14 with 30 amps flew out. I put in a new one and sofor The next day I felt that the water flow was completely too high and that the water was very high. Now the flow is clean but the fuse still flies. Today I built everything from the front to the back apart and looked for a smeared cable. All i.o. All switches for seat heating, air conditioning, warning blink, cigarette lighter front and rear, switch knob etc controlled and switched off. Nevertheless, the fuse flies. tand resp. load resistance be defective, but when the is switched off there also flies the fuse. Can someone help me there?

CarPC and the ZV
Hello, I’ve got a question π And that is: I built a car PC into my MV6 Caravan. The part is sitting in the back of the trunk, where the CD changer was sitting. Audiowise, the PC is connected to a Kenwoodradio by means of the CD changer cable and even soldered plug. In the right threshold panel I have the VGA cable and the USB cable, the Usb cable moves from there to the glove compartment where a Usb hub is connected with GPS-Mas, Bluetoothh and Co. As long as the PC is running, the ZV doesn’t work properly anymore. It only reacts when I trigger the transmitter directly on the right A-pillar. It’s not on the Bluetooth. I’ve already pulled it off. Since the Usb hub is supplied with continuous current, it can actually only lie on the VGA cable. Is the antenna for the ZV sitting on the A-pillar?

Smooth
Sometimes it’s no different, just wanted to pick up the little daughter from the station. So get out of the carport, turn around on the left, turn into the 2nd and after 50 meters comes the main road. When braking I only thought, let no one come on the main road (also sweet). No chance to come to a stop, the ABS has growled like wild, fortunately almost no traffic. So again luck g At the next traffic light I had to wait because red was, while driving (despite the still downhill track) the tail breaks to the side. Then I am going in the 2nd gear. What I want to say, please do not underestimate the road conditions during your rides. These will probably remain our companion for some time still. And before a wrong impression arises, I am an absolutely defensive driver. To me the typical Omega driver picture fits. So now it goes to Doggi, quite langsan !

Handbrake new, but makes problems
Hello, I made the brakes completely new with my Omega, everything went so far smoothly. The car is still logged off, but I had already tested the handbrake several times and it felt good. Now I stood with us today at noon in the yard and on a slope and when I wanted to drive away again left the handbrake looked more up…I then played a bit with the coupling that it loosens again, but was really fixed…. nmal there was a blow and she was free. But now it’s so that she pulls herself even slightly again. What can that be, I built everything together again !!!???? Someone a spontaneous idea ?

Sports air filter…????
Hello municipality, after I had bought a new air filter for my OMI and then had to go already 22,- β¬ for, I just bought a sports filter from Jux and Dollerei at Ebay. Costed 4,90β¬ plus 3,- β¬ shipping. So you could not do much wrong, I thought. Joyful and full of tingling in the belly because of new handicrafts, I immediately got into my garage and plucked the large air filter, all of it out. After that I then got the new air filter. n Sportluftfilter on the intake pipes screwed. Folded great. I was also enthusiastic about the pass rings, which were there to compensate for possible deviations. After that I made a test drive and was very disappointed. A really annoying sound came out of the engine room at once and made the beautiful slide away to a rally ride. At least as far as my ears are concerned. Well, I left the “thing” on it first because I had no desire anymore, the old box s Now I’ve been driving with the “Sporti” for two weeks and wondering about more performance. Please don’t look stupid……I can’t believe it either. But every morning I drive the same route, a little 25 KM, to work. There’s also a long piece with a small mountain, which you have to drive up. And right there…..I suddenly got a nice “grin” in my face. Maybe I also had a kind of facial cramp, but I think I’m imagining that the OMI now easily drives up the mountain, where he had real trouble before and I didn’t just have to switch down from the 3rd to the 2nd to get up. My OMI just has the X20SE engine with 115 hp and then has a small weakness attack at 16% incline. But these seizures are blown away, since I have this stupid rally filter on it. Can someone explain this logically to me now????????? I mean, by another filter you make a 115 hp car not yet 13 0 PS….or do I now have small males crawling and pushing out of the filter while accelerating????? Dear greetings, Omega2367

I’m the NEW one and I come here more often:D
Nice jute evening… I arrived in the forum very fresh and since yesterday proud sitting of a 97 Μer Omega B Caravan 2,0L 136PS. Car makes me a lot of fun and also drives well… I have a few questions to you… 1. can someone tell me how to relocate the radio wire harness or where the long leads in the engine room??? the pre-owned has simply cut all cables in the radio shaft and now I stand there… would have the possibility to get a cable tree out of an omi slaughter … 2. Unfortunately, my omi has no remote control to the Zv, but I found a place for scrapping today and wanted to know if I can use it or what do I need everything for it??? Thanks and greetings from the Dax
