  • Spark plugs?

Hi. I have my first problem with my Ommi. In idle or park or neutral position the engine runs smoothly and when giving gas everything is normal. But when I go to D , it starts to run uneasy as if it only runs on 5 pads. When giving gas it does not take the gas so well and only runs when I make fire, right again. Is this a possible indication on the spark plugs? Can unfortunately not find out clearly when they were changed. Greeting Nobby

  • Wheel bearing change at the HA at the Omega A+B

The biggest problem was to remove the screw from the hub and pull it off. Besides, I had no lifting platform, so in front of the garage. But I did it in a little over 3 hours. With a picture of the troublemaker. Interested in a FAQ?? Then I write you a… CAR 2,5 DTI 4/03 – 147000km – Everything except leather u level

  • Switch out puff benders yourself?

My car runs so uneasy, stutters and stinks in the interior. I was on the scrap yard and it was found that the heat shield is gnawing after the flex tube on the puf tube. The fitter found that the cracker should be leaking and had to be replaced, otherwise the engine would continue to run restlessly and in addition the Lambda probe will still go broken, he said. I looked under the car and think that with kit bandages I would use the heat shield dd could somehow fix it. What about the cracker? Could you easily replace a puff manifold yourself? What would I have to buy all the material (wrought seal, bolts with)? Is there possibly already a manual 🙂 Thank you!

  • Automatic climate control has its own life

Hello, have a 98er 2l16v and an automatic climate control that spins at once. After a few minutes drive, the climate control develops an own life. Description: Climate is from > Climate is from alone to a value of 20°C. Climate is from(no matter which temperature setting) > Climate is from(no matter which temperature setting) > Climate is from and on again. Climate is from(no matter which temperature setting) > Climate from car to level 3 or 4. Climate is from(no matter which temperature setting) > Climate is from, a ll displays (tacho, speed, etc.) go to zero and display values again shortly afterwards. Climate is on (e.g.: 23°C) > Climate sets itself to 20°C and then goes at some point into the “shaking mode” as described above. Has anyone experienced something similar with his grandmother already? Drive to the FOH tomorrow. See me already faced with a very expensive repair. Can anyone help?

  • Flasher lever or flasher relay broken?

Hello, I just came across you when I was walking and I hope you can help me. Unfortunately, I didn’t find a suitable answer about the SUFU if I missed a thread and forgive me for having opened up a new topic. To my problem, on my Opel Omega B 2.0 16V Bj: In 1995 my turn signal went off yesterday. When I was driving the turn signal lever, right in front of me (behind or under the speedometer) was only so electronic “Spratzelgeräusc h”(as with a short circuit, I hope you understand what I mean *gg*) and the flasher didn’t blink. So neither the arrows on the amature board nor the flashers themselves. The warning flasher works, but I tried that out immediately. I removed the flasher switch today and skimmed off the contacts, but did not bring anything. Can you actually open the flasher somehow without destroying the switch and its inner life? I would have the once on mac I’m afraid that something could break and I can’t close the switch properly again. Could it also be due to a fuse or the flasher relay? What else could I check? Don’t necessarily want to get me a new flasher lever or relay if it doesn’t have to be absolutely necessary. If there’s any information missing, just let me know… I’ll get back to you immediately. Greetings Wasserzwerg

  • Omega B Caravan Facelift Automatic air conditioning does not cool properly

Hello guys, I drive an Omega B Caravan Facelift, 2.2 Edition, EZ 06/2003, engine Z22XE, with automatic air conditioning. Today we had eary +29,5°C outside and the automatic air conditioning should cool up and the car. AUTO was set so that the cooling compressor also runs. But the thing just heated, not cooled. Even at the lowest setting LO, somehow only warm air came out. I then already used the actuators according to user manual synchro cold air doesn’t come out. I admit that I didn’t use the automatic air conditioning system as recommended at least once a month with switched on cooling (AUTO), but is that supposed to be the trigger? Does anyone have an idea what else to do. Thank you very much in advance. Klaus

  • leak in the plastic of the cooler at Omega B, 5/98, X20XEV

Hello omega friends, yes, there is still me! Today I need a tip from you, so I can possibly stick a very small leak in the plastic flange of the cooler -see inserted picture. The crack is not perceptible with the naked eye, and only a very small amount of cooling liquid – about 1 finger hat full in 12 hours – runs out, if the cooler is under pressure. I had the spot glued experimentally with a hot glue gun. Although the adhesive mass later at temperature She was able to hold back the cooling liquid. However, the engine was not at maximum operating temperature. So I need an adhesive/sealing mass up to an application range of 80 – 100° C. Certainly someone can give me a suitable tip. Thank you in advance, Greeting Ommega

  • Change of vehicle

good day for the first time, I’m not new here, but somehow it doesn’t work out with my old account, but only by the way. I’m looking for a nice replacement for my omega A (limosine). I don’t like it again and again here and there something to weld… you know the space offer yourself. I’m looking for any vehicles that have this space offer, it should also be ne limo again, gasoline, fuel consumption about 10 liters, convertable to gas (so don’t have the problems like vw/audi) and ne anh weight of at least 1500 kg. has maybe one of you ne idea what a good replacement would be ? galant I like for example, 5er is too small from inside, 7er spretten and and and and. I hope for numerous suggestions. many thanks already in advance
