Heating/climate doesn’t work properly/not at all
Hello Motor Talker, I found something about my Omega again, but nothing here in the forum at Motor Talk, which describes my problem. So I start slowly, My interior blower works on all power levels,but the conversion probably not right,or not at all. So if I have the position to 0,and then the air-conditioning switch runs the blower motor,but nothing gets cold( probably runs at the smallest level). I turn off the air-conditioning switch again also d If I then put blower on 1-4 then in the middle comes cold (outside temperature) air, put on cold but down in the footroom hot air. I have not so much idea of crafting(fear something wrong or to break) but try it anyway.Have seen with me that behind the glove compartment a hose is loose,to see where the comes to I have removed the HSF,and also found where the hose comes in,behind the Central console,which will be another fuzzy egg to build back like that,I need to see how I get that back in there.. Then I removed the controller unit,to see if the pressure hoses are all fixed,and have checked every single one by hiring the blower and turning at the distribution whether anything happens,pushes/sucks,but nothing happened in no position.I have no plan,I have noted the occupancy of the hoses times which are as follows, the control unit seen from above is not fully developed.Blue is above,green is below,yellow is left,and right is brown,no one of the hoses does anything neither suck nor blow.Maybe you can help me even further,I’m almost at the end.But the worst is still the one with the air above cold and below hot,although put on cold.The blue tube goes right behind the glove compartment into a can?And the yellow somehow disappears forward engine compartment?And the other both, brown and green I haven’t found yet.And the air conditioning doesn’t work either,the switch seems to work,(Blows in position 0 at ignition smallest stage)but does not have the indicator light in it 2 pieces does not glow at both can not be both defective or yet.So that was it from me first,I am grateful for any help here in the FORUM.

Steering is very difficult! Help!
Since yesterday morning my steering is very difficult, that is to say when you drive it feels like I would drive without a servo. Could it be that the servo pump can also freeze or is it due to the weather situation here (-17 degrees)? Recently the omi also steers a little bit willingly, I know that it follows every Spurille but that is different, on a straight track comes a ground wave and swoops my omi in an X-libgy direction. Door handles inside Omega B Facelift 05/01
Hello at my OmegaB Facelift the plastic is released with the two inner door handles (driver and passenger). I think this is such a kind of rubberization, doesn’t look very nice. I think VW has its problems as well. Now I’m going to the FOH, because I thought 2 inner door handles can’t cost the world and should not change the problem either. Thinking that the FOH meant individually there is no one, they are integrated in the door panel that doesn’t exist individually. ! Someone may have the same problems and what can you do there! The FOH meant something like painting, but I don’t know how to get it so clean. And how should it look. Maybe someone has a tip for me! Thanks in advance henningfosskamp

2.5 v6 simply goes in empty run or when switching from help
Have an Omega b 2.5 v6 since last night he makes me problems and I absolutely don’t know what that could or is. The following: when switching down from the 4th to the 3rd he just went out after I stopped then I could start him completely normal and continue driving. Now this morning I wanted to check everything that can be so and wanted to start him what he then did not read the reason given to me was the following: Front stood higher than heck and there r not enough gasoline or something like that. Can that be? So then when I got him to run I let him run in the stand and so after 5-7 minutes he easily went out could start normal again and he then runs quite normal. Neither the MKL nor anything else lights up achja if he is completely cold then he also jumps very hard since today! I would be very grateful if you could give me tips what that can or is!

Oil filler rod in motor with MV6 broken+ yellow slime on oil cover
Hello guys, when I pulled out my oil stick before yesterday I saw that I had almost no oil on it, I would have… that was 2days ago all tutti, I looked into filler sockets and saw that also nice yellow mucus spread. I shcuate ncoh once after peilstick, wiped off the, and saw that there max is at the top…….I went into the open again (out of the underground garage into the sunlight) and saw that the track stick in the engine must have been broken, which I hope that the now rest ig inner oil tank remains sticky,or can there be no problems?? It is the days n oil change+filter,because I have really high fuel consumption just,and the yellow mucus annoys me with the MV6 and it also a little clacks. Well that I had before the old 2.5 also had,so motor washed,new oil pure+filtrer and was good…. I could drive it with a good ethanol mix of 60/40 without mucus. But since I have the now here for 3 weeks, and started with ethanol s Would you like to give me an engine flushing rate with diesel, or simply by 2 times oil change + filter would have to be enough?? One thing I would like to mention very briefly: I drove here again only 10km through town, and the car was standing outside for 3 hours, and on the way home, the steering went very hard at times……what can that be now??? So tyre air pressure I checked right away. as well as the oil level of the servo oil..all ok……it will see if it’s gone in 3pcs. It’s gotta go back to Maloche, hope it was just a one-time cumbersome steering. Ok, see you soon. Thanks for the tips GLG

Restless run and start problems
Hello together. I bought me a 2nd Omega b bj 98 2l16v, but he has so many quirks. If you want to start he jumps immediately then he runs in the stand on 2500 tours and goes down at some point on 1500 tours, then he jumps out of it quite badly again (mostly not at all) and if then you have to min 1 minute organs until what does and then the game starts from the beginning: 2500 tours etc etc… Does anyone know what that can be??? Since today he only jumps no ch on if he has stood longer zb over night when he has run once and you turn it off he no longer starts and the engine control lamp lights up at once.Have read out error codes which are : 0100 / 0110 / 0115 / 0120 / 0135 / 0505 / 1230 / 1502 / and if I have not counted 5021 the error messages he shows me. The strange is when I picked him up Tuesday did not light up mkl, he jumped bad and did not dress properly but now he says garn When it starts, it’s full but it doesn’t start and what I noticed: the remote service on the key for Zv lights up when you press but it doesn’t lock up or shut down, you have to do with keys. Convert H 1 passing beam to H 7
Hello. A lot has already been written about the bad light at the Omega b. Now I have already installed the clear glass headlights of Hella in my 96 Omega. In addition the Osram Silverstar h 1 lamps are used. Yes, compared to the old headlights with the scattered disc the light has become better. But compared to some other car it is still bad. The biggest problem is the dipped light. How does someone get the idea to build h 1 lamps? With the main beam H 7 is ok. It should be exactly the other way around. Abblend h7 – Fern h1. Is there no technical way to use H 7 (or similar) lamps also for the passing beam? The watt number (55) should remain the same and it should not blind anything. But even if it were possible, would the type approval be extinguished or anything else speaks against it. Or would it be possible?? Greeting Oligri
